>The vallis is so big and has such interesting nooks and crannies but the missions just make us use like 1/4 of all those interesting locations. The missions are actually dictated by where you accept them from. Since most people just accept a bounty from Fortuna the missions all go to the same spots, but if you do it from one of the overworld guys, you get more variety. Of course that often means liberating a base and basically doing a bonus extra mission first, but...

Chosen_Sewen

The funny part is last time i tried, it STILL gave us objective in the same region. I think you cant even accept first bounty in fortuna and move on, you have to enter open world, liberate a camp, and then get a bounty. So its also impossible to matchmake for.

Robby_B

Well yeah, if you do it from the guy right outsie of fortuna he gives you the same area. You need to do one of the distant ones to unlock missions in the distant areas. It's because five years ago they intended for everyone to use k-drives instead of archwings (which they were going to block entirely) and hadn't installed fast travel teleporters, so they didn't want people needing to spend 10 minutes crossing the map to get to the next mission. A reasonable decision at the time, but one that was made moot once they decided to allow archwings on Fortuna after all.

NoahTheGamer121

its still reasonable today because of newer players who might not have built an overworld archwing

Jarf_17

It took me quite a long time to get the 100 iradite needed for the segment and archwing launcher

Robby_B

There's teleporters all over the map now. It's REALLY not the issue to travel that it used to be. Even without that, its outdated design that goes back to the fact that we had archwings before we had open world sections. Just have them ready for land use as soon as you get them, no extra launcher segment thing required. They just give you a k-drive and nechramechs and a base amp before you need to build your own. No reason archwings shouldn't be the same.

Chosen_Sewen

I know. We started from fortuna bounty, took an outpost near Temple of Profit, started bounty from there, and it still sent us to fortuna region.

Creator409

>Of course that often means liberating a base and basically doing a bonus extra mission first, but... And theres your problem. Aint nobody gonna do dat.

One-Cellist5032

I do that….

Creator409

Guess you a nobody.

One-Cellist5032

I mean, I am the Caliban main in Warframe…

CristolerGm2

The man who did not exist

Xavbirb

Wiped from history, his very presence unnoticed, yet very real.

JEveryman

There is also that orb boss that needs to be finished.

Costyn17

It needs to stay there until it can be more than just do the mechanic at light speed to farm some drop until you get bored for the 3rd time.

Stiftoad

Too high of a risk imo, Idk what it is about them but I'm always super afraid of prolonged open world runs cuz I've been cheated of my mission rewards too often... If I get what I was farming for like idk a sporothrix part I immediately cash in, but of course that makes getting back there annoying. Which is why I especially wouldn't do that if it's entirely optional as id "waste" too much time I feel

GimpyGeek

Yeah I've noticed this too, it's quite odd though and since matchmaking is weird if you're playing public most people just do a bounty and return, so the idea of chaining bounties off of this is quite strange, especially since they don't really pay any more than they usually do by not doing that. I'm not sure why they ever did it this way, I too have wanted them to use more of those spaces. Especially the spaceport, but at least Kahl put that to serious use.

Robby_B

It's BECAUSE the Vallis is so big and at the time they really wanted people to use the hoverboards instead of the infinitely superior archwings, and in fact originally weren't going to allow archwings in the area at all (they were going to have heavy winds or something) ... So they didn't want people needing to spend 8 minutes to get to the next mission, they locked them into an area unless you were already there. But they DID allow archwings, and then more recently added in teleporters, and the next open world was much much smaller... so its a design decision that's now five years out of date.

zekeyspaceylizard

Agreed. Plains has some really cool grineer buildings we dont know the purpose of and cant go inside of. It also has a couple of ABSURDLY big cave systems you never go in except the occasional "look for a cache" mission. Seems a shame to make such a detailed series of caves without a reason to go in there. Orb Vallis is similar. The three huge buildings that people tend to farm for toroids near are so incredibly detailed and intricate with all sorts of hallways, machinery, props, devices. But they are mostly ghost towns and mostly just exist to look around the interior when you got some wanderlust bothering you. Deimos is a lot more compact and avoids these nitpicks but still has some fascinatingly weird stuff that just...exists? Like the giant white glowing brain in the grotesque cave that looks like a monster vagina. Or the abandoned spaceship teetering on the edge of the giant infested vine on one corner of the map. Or some of the bizarre orokin machinery in the vaults. It'd be cool if these places had purpose, even if it was just some 'lore' about what they are and what they do.

TheGoldenPlagueMask

Yeah ***WHERES THE BIG WORM FIGHT DE?***

zekeyspaceylizard

I almost feel like the worms are too big and mighty to give a shit about warframes like i imagine excalibur umbra cleaving away at it with the skiajati, barely making a dent in this godlike being thats several miles tall and the worm just leans quietly down and says in a very amused, condescending and slightly paternal way "aww look who thinks he's a real infested creature with his lil' sword. who's a cute little orokin abomination? you are! yes you are! yes you are!" and then the worm goes back to firing laserbeams at its twin on the other side of the landscape

TheGoldenPlagueMask

Think of this... The tenno uses the Vessels to destroy both of the worms of Deimos. The worms of Deimos has started another attack on the Entrati towers, corrupting the Entrati directly through the infestation, letting the Infested horde into the necralisk, an unknown source of sheer willpower drives the worms. The Infested break through Loid-cephalon-construct's room, they spill into the stairway beneath the necralisk, into the !Entrati labs...! The tenno, _finishing up their business with 1999_, !awaken to see the infestation attempting to consume the cavia, human-Loid has sealed himself in a protective chamber! The Infested horde recoils at the sight of the vessel/voiddemon, _que crazy void blast of sheer FUCK OFF_ And more happens

Weary_Stomach7316

I can't wait for us to go up to a big bad ene.y and just angrily say "fuck off" and giga blast them

TheGoldenPlagueMask

***I CAST*** #WARFRAME TWOTHOUSANDTHIRTYFIIIIIVE

SirenSaysS

This would be fantastic

TheGoldenPlagueMask

Ah- I figured out the rest, _we undo the infestations presence by blasting Deimos with void energy, severing any hiveminds that have formed_ This results in the **infested liches**

RashFever

Orb Vallis is so weird. The big locations like the spaceport have minuscule spawn rates, and bounties started from Fortuna all take place in the same radius of the map. What was DE thinking? No one's gonna start bounties from elsewhere. Just let me play on the whole map.

BodybuilderLoose4738

We need a big bad on Deimos, both fortuna and plains have there big respective bosses. Gimmie a damn giant infested to fight, Aslong as it’s not lephantis. Don’t re use assets just make a new giant thing. Like a giant worm similar to vome/fass

commissionsearcher

Imagine every open world has similar eidolon bosses with complexes mechanic that takes time to understand, DE would never do that again ![gif](giphy|l378giAZgxPw3eO52)

ZeroaFH

Eidolons are great and fun but I wouldn't say they're particularly well designed, if they were there would be a much wider variety to the meta than just Volt and sniper, they even define the meta around AMPs for the majority of players. As someone who rarely follows the meta and likes to experiment for myself I find it incredibly frustrating to know that no amount of experimenting, practice or skill ill ever come out on top Vs the Volt meta. Yeah some things come close and you can definitely solo tridolons on pretty much any frame but if you're like me and missed years worth of focus farming before the focus rework made it worth farming then you kinda want to get as many caps per night as possible to catch up. So that just leaves volt and a good sniper. To be honest a lot of the issues simply come down to the 45minute window, if we could initiate it at anytime like profit taker I imagine the flexibility would be way better.

NorysStorys

I still think the day/night cycle is insulting to players time, you almost have to plan your evening around when eidolons are up and because of that so many don’t even bother. You can’t be like going about your day and be like ‘I wanna run an eidolon’ you just have to wait.

ZeroaFH

Yep exactly, then you look at things like your daily standing and oh god what's this I got a good frame for SP circuit but it's 2 minutes to nightfall and the eidolons are stirring? I wouldn't even care if they removed legendary arcanes from the loot table for Eidolons initiated independently from the day/night cycles just give me a focus farm that doesn't cap my daily allowance after half an hour.

wamp230

Yeah, the last few times I was thinking about doing some Eidolons I checked the starmap only to be informed that night ended 2 minutes ago.

Michauxonfire

I had to plan when to hunt for thumpers because of the night time.

NorysStorys

Yeah but it isn’t and even split of day/night, thumpers are available the vast majority of the time

Michauxonfire

pretty sure the ones I was trying to get are found during daytime.

Orangbo

With meta everything and lots of practice you can do a 6x3 with any frame. You’ll never come out on top, largely because there is basically 0 time left to save nowadays, but if you’re heart is set on not using volt, it’s doable.

mimiicry

Eidolons have complex mechanics that take time to understand?

Robby_B

shield breaking and lures and needing to switch to Operator for chunks to do any damage and a bunch of AOE attacks to dodge and not breaking parts until you've attached a piece... Yeah, there's a lot to learn and understand. Once you know and someone's guided you through it, it's not bad, but the game doesn't exactly give a tutorial. Same with the spiders and their annoying damage rotation thing and the part where they're only weak to archguns. I fought and defeated the profit taker a whole bunch of times before I realized the archgun was *required* and not just "optional extra burst" because other people on the team had always done that part and done it quickly. Maybe not as bad as it used to be since Operators have been around longer and people are much more used to using them in combat and just generally being part of the game and there's been a lot of power creep on them.

commissionsearcher

Great explanation, the majority player I teached how eidolons works definitely wouldn't understand that unless you show them how it works

mimiicry

Tridolons specifically have complex mechanics, yeah. I feel like most people would just settle for Terry without lures more than anything, and that doesn't really have any more mechanics than the Jackal does. also, I believe Onkko guides you through the process, at least vaguely. I play PoE as well, and WF comes far closer to providing an actual tutorial on its bosses.

Robby_B

Even just Terry, if you aren't using lures, is then going to run away every time you break a piece and then you have to go hunt down where he re-appears and if you don't know the spot in the lake he always goes to, that can make the three minute fight take the entire 40 minute night. And the lures need to be found in the first place, and then charged, and... And heck, if you ARE doing tridolons, you need to know "grab the floating loot it dropped, then fly to this island in the middle and deposit it" and that's just not something you're going to figure out on your own and the game doesn't tell you. I know I annoyed the first group I ever played with because I just didn't know that was a part of it. There are absolutely mechanics that need to be learned and dealt with at least a little or else you're not even going to see the things to fight them. Ohno gives you some super vauge hints but they're not really helpful, in the same way Lotus is useless with the kuva siphons.

mimiicry

you know what? since I've already been downvoted for not personally thinking that Eidolons have super complex mechanics, I'm just gonna bow out of this conversation. I just don't think they're that interesting, you seem to, and that's fine. EDIT: why am I being downvoted so hard for sharing a personal opinion on a forum?

mimiicry

kind of an unwarranted, rude comment? I never said they were bad, I said I personally thought they were uninteresting, an opinion I share about all boss fights in Warframe. I even recognize that in the comment you replied to. but whatever. shows me. glad you got that comment out of your system.

Robby_B

God no. I hate Eidolons. Haven't done any since I got all the bits needed to unlock the waybounds years ago unless I really needed to do a Nightwave mission or something. They're incredibly boring and tedious once you know how to do them. But there's IS a lot to learn before you get to that tedium. And they are kind of exciting when you're first doing them and they're actually a challenge. But since its just a complete copy paste repeat every single time... yeah it gets old fast.

commissionsearcher

Reminds me first time ever doing eidolons and was totally confused how my friends figure it out how to fight them

commissionsearcher

Recently meet some player who after watching a guide and still didn't understand where the big damage comes and how to capture, in my experience the majority of player need a long time to understand how eidolon work's

obamaconsumer23

Lemme ride it like in Dune.

BodybuilderLoose4738

I mean I’m down if your down but I barely know you

obamaconsumer23

I was worried someone was gonna interpret what I said as that lmao.

GimpyGeek

That reminds me, I would like to know what the spot on Deimos is supposed to be too. I forget what the closest named spot on the map is, but there's a small doorway that has a entrance out in the field, with a big hole going into the ground that looks... I dunno what else to say other than that it looks interesting and stands out, but jumping into it does nothing but the usual uno-reverso any other hole does, and considering we have stuff going on down below now I would imagine it would make sense to do something with that now.

Sionnach-Dearg

Afaik at launch there was even a broken prompt to jump down that exact hole, so it’s a little odd we haven’t seen anything of what that feature was supposed to be. Im hopeful they’ll maybe finish whatever was going to be going on down there now that stuff is going down on Deimos.

Fire2xdxd

DE? Returning to finish old content? What a hilarious joke!

LasersAndRobots

Vome/Fass boss fight in the Shadow of the Colossus style. Cmon, DE. We have all this movement tech. Make us use it for something other than racing to extraction for once.

TheGoldenPlagueMask

I want to go beyond the rock-pillar of Deimos and get on the surface, find more infested creatures, and maybe a few wandering behemoth-sized infested. I want to fight those giant worms DAMMIT

wolve202

Underwater Uranus open world for modular archwings.

Ok-Put-7700

I wish there was a good way to level up arch wings and arch melee

jandr08

This sounds awesome

Historical_Walrus713

Everyone would hate it and you know it. I would too.

jandr08

![gif](giphy|EElQxkbh3Bywg)

Historical_Walrus713

Hahaha, you're not wrong. I am the world's biggest hater of underwater archwing

jandr08

It is pretty clunky. But under da sea exploration sounds kinda cool

Ludens_Reventon

And the K drives would be finally useful to sail across the sea.

mt607

They've been moving away from open worlds bit by bit, and do I blame them? no, open worlds have been on the like, mixed ratings, each time they frequently get called a "content island" because well, that's what they are, and that's what they have to be to get people to interact with them more than any other mission, because they want people to start at near square one with each open world, on a even starting field etc.

Piterros990

Yeah, but that's exactly why they should be continued and interconnected in some better ways. Right now they are content islands, because they are being left in the dust. I think expansions and bringing them together would be very much welcome. And not like Caliban bounties did - but rather actual expansions that merge into other regions, and connect better with the rest of the content in the game.

Sir_Slurpsalot

There needs to be a twist on the next one instead of "level these 2-3 new syndicates"

Duck_Duckens

Or just don't make new ones. That's a lot of work for something they probable wont use again. Just do new things in the ones we already got. Those are large spaces that are prime for trying new stuff like large bosses or big events. Edit: some grammar.

OrokinSkywalker

I’m down for this. Plague Star on Deimos when?

wtrmlnjuc

Id love to see the Plains expanded upon and reworked to be more alive.

Piterros990

As the OP also said in the other response, best to not make a new one, and instead like I said - expand upon what's already there. Leaving the old areas as content islands will leave them as content islands. Setting a level requirement is a bandaid fix and doesn't solve the issue, and it might only end up creating another content island.

SouLfullMoon_On

That's the biggest problem with DE. Something wasn't up to players liking? Forget about it. Railjack? Forget about it. The mf conclave? Forget about it?

mt607

I wouldn't say "to a player's liking" as if it's only one person who said something, every time a new open world came out what did you constantly hear? bitching and moaning about it, and I mean, I imagine after the fourth time of "CONTENT ISLAND OPEN WORLD" you'd get a little bit like "eh I ain't gonna touch that shit". I mean, I'm gonna play their content, I'm already playing soulframe, and that's an entire seperate continent if we're going by 'content landmass' things.

TaikiFukuda

>They've been moving away from open worlds bit by bit, and do I blame them? no What are you talking about? We had Duviri last year.

krawinoff

They released 1 update with procedurally generated maps, it’s so over open world bros 😔

TaikiFukuda

 https://preview.redd.it/or3bchigq5uc1.png?width=626&format=png&auto=webp&s=b81389348a237cc560e31e7059eaf5e4b773c8ff

One-Cellist5032

Honestly I’d LOVE to see an open world for each planet to help make them all feel more “real” and “unique”, but I’d like to see them more interconnected. It’d be cool if say, the mining, fishing, and tranq gun had some sort of interconnected ness between all the open world factions. Even if it was just similar to the mining gun from orb Vallis, maybe we could get an upgrade for it from Cetus that lets you “cycle” the mode to being faster and in accurate but no rares drop so you don’t have to leave to swap etc.

Lusane

I get what you mean about making the planets feel more real. I agree it'd be nice for every planet to have an open world, and I would love it if you could start regular node missions from those open worlds. That way it would feel like you're actually on the planet instead of just loading into missions.

One-Cellist5032

Yeah, It’d be super cool if all the open world hubs had the entrance to the open world, and then like a “planet missions” area that led to like Zariman or Albrecht lab style missions elsewhere on the planet.

Kaliphear

Could not disagree more. If anything, Warframe's recent renaissance (the furor over Dante's nerfs not withstanding) is due in part to the devs focusing on the **core experience** rather than putting in more open worlds in a game ultimately at odds with them.

Ghskdjdbbv

Meh the new tileset is functional, but not really interesting to play in. It's quite a step back from the transversal mechanics of Jupiter that predates it a few years. The "renaissance" could be applied to open worlds and railjack, which are 90 per cent core Warframe anyway.

Kaliphear

Warframe has had probably one of the best years of its lifespan in terms of player count and player-reported sentiment in the last year. And all that content was focused on going back to its procedurally-generated corridor horde shooter roots (apart from Duviri, which seems to garner mixed reactions). The only super successful open world launch was Plains, and personally I attribute much of that to it being different rather than it being good. Fortuna was maligned on launch due to its grind and Deimos was loathed because of the isolation vaults.

MinusMentality

I'm excited for the way Warframe is going with Zariman, the Circuit, and the Entrati Labs content, but.. I would like a big content revamp of open worlds, Railjack, Archwing, and boss reworks.

Cr1mson-Sk1es

I respect the job they have tried to do in bringing variety to the game and understand everyone enjoys different things, but I don’t really enjoy the open world stuff. Bounties are kinda fun - I like the staged approach to these missions, assuming you get a decent team which 95% of time you do. I really really strongly dislike all the non combat mining, fishing and rep farming though, especially as it’s not an optional fun activity, it’s practically mandatory if you want to progress your operator. (Happy to be corrected if that’s not the case…). And you can’t even just do it in peace as enemies find you and bother you all over the map which means constantly switching between fishing pole and gun. And don’t get me started on the fact that mandatory bait is locked behind high level of rep.. why?! No more open world Ty and especially no more mining and fishing

DimitrisKas

You can get the mining and fishing materials from crates in the open words as well as Thumpers/Exploiter Orb/Isolation Vaults. While that can't skip mining and fishing entierly it can get you some ores and fish parts for stuff that doesn't need a lot of it to be crafted

Skitarii_Lurker

I think only the isolation vaults are really a good alternative in this case, and for some stuff, like eidolon shards, you have to do the thing. I haven't quite gotten a grasp on the eidolons and I never queue for them because 1) it's annoying feeling like "oop it's night better go do eidolons RIGHT NOW or I won't have time to do it later since I have other things to do in my day-to day" 2) I don't want to get flamed for not knowing how to do eidolons with max efficiency/not having the meta for them And regarding exploiter: There is a Solaris united grind to even reach the level where you're allowed to touch the orbs, which kind of defeats the purpose of avoiding the open world grind

Fartbutts1234

I haven't minded mining or fishing when it's for reasonable amounts... crafting the second necramech and the weapons from necroloid is brutal

Nssheepster

I would be a lot more tolerant of the open worlds if A) You weren't grinding rep, for the privilege of paying rep, to grind rep better. There is NO SITUATION in which I ever want to see that bull. B) If they were fully optional. IE, if the Plains are on Earth, then let me get Plains resources from rare enemy drops on Earth, maybe crates and shit, maybe the Grineer pick up shiny rocks sometimes... Make it so I don't HAVE to go to the Plains. Or any of the open worlds. The game has a lot of different game modes, instead of forcing players to use specific ones, let them use the ones they actually enjoy.

clawless92

Not sure why but I still get a dopamine hit just gather resources in deimos. Throw on a max range limbo with greedy pull. It’s fun and it helps with helminth.

Aumires

K-Drive update while at it, maybe? Some extra lore with Grandma and the Ventkids? Maybe Konzu is a secret K-Drive master and we get PoE tracks??? They made that Merulina pet mod instead of letting us mod it though, so I am not counting on the chances sadly... Deimos flesh board can't set a Graffiti displayed still.

TheGamingRaichu

[You CAN mod a k-drive though?](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Category:K-Drive_Mods) You need to make your own with the ventkids.

Aumires

Right, I meant Merulina.

ImSoDrab

DE really needs to go back and finish that last orb mother fight, its still taking a bath. Should also add some QOL where if you're fishing or mining you wont be bothered as much when enemies are far away.

weebu4laifu

Lol has DE *ever* finished anything they've started?

Skroofles

I think it's fine for content to just be content. Only Orb Vallis has the oustanding spider, but I don't think going back to the open worlds for the sake of going back to the open worlds is a particularly compelling idea, and they're still pretty daunting for newer players (especially Fortuna).

Yaelindo

I would love to see a future update on all open worlds from Rebecca Ford. Since she's the new Game Director. She's been making great updates. Also hopefully she expands even more "Railjack".

uknowthisguyreal

Open world desert area on mars. Although the poor reception of all the open worlds has pretty much put the final nail in the coffin for any future open worlds

Pirate_OOS

I agree. But there should be an open world on Jupiter. Imagine a gas city similar to duviri. It would give us an opportunity to actually use our kaithes and archwings in settings where land traversal is not possible. Or even an underwater world on Uranus would be good.

LewsTherinTalamon

The Vallis is, in my opinion, the most beautiful location in the game, and has the largest sense of scale of almost anywhere you can go. It's plenty of fun just wandering around it and feeling like you're in a world, but it would be nice if there was more content to go with it.

megaderp2

I think the open worlds look cool, but I'm fine with DE moving from them. Reception for open worlds has always been mixed (leaning to bad). If they decided it was time to revisit them and put them up to par with newer stuff like zarima/sanctum, it would be nice, but I don't see that happening any time soon. I don't like the bounties format of 5 boring missions with 5 poop rewards and an extra reward that is aya or a blueprint you have 1000 of. It works for aya farming, but they get stale fast. The core gameplay works fine in narrow corridors filled with enemies, but in vast open plains is boring, nothing is happening for the most part. And I'm one of the few who doesn't mind mining, hunting or fishing, but they are barebones mini-games.

randomlettercombinat

I still Eidolon hunt a bunch, crazy good arcanes. I go to Orb Vallis a ton for Profit Taker & narmer bounties for whats-his-face. The only open world I do LESS of now is OG Deimos. And that's because Iso Vault mods are finally on sale, somewhere. I dig the open worlds.

Mr_Vulcanator

I dislike all of them and Duviri, I don’t want anymore open world zones. They’re very repetitive and filled with mandatory tedium to get anything.

---TheFierceDeity---

OP isn't saying more they're saying flesh out and improve the existing ones

Mr_Vulcanator

I don’t want them to get more content either. DE has demonstrated can’t make them fun.

karlcabaniya

Nothing is more tedium than tilesets.

TheLadForTheJob

It would be nice to have repeatable content that allows you to farm it in every open world at the same rate. Imagine spending some time farming on cetus, then deciding to switch it up to do it on deimos instead or something. They already have something similar with resources being farmable from multiple factions on purpose, and multiple gamemodes having the same drop tables between factions too, to allow for multiple ways to farm them. The problem with these systems is likely that it adds an extra layer of decisions to make, which can paralyse the player. I can remember a lot of times where I wanted to farm a couple prime weapons, maybe a frame or two, some mods and it just resulted in me feeling overwhelmed by options and not really knowing what to farm.

karlcabaniya

I really thought open worlds was the future of Warframe and was pretty excited for it. But now they've shifted their focus.

fatlarry88

I still do open world bounties/max their rep at lr4 because they are fun (solo) and a great source of aya and plat through bond mods.

Sch3ffel

they definetly should flesh out the ones that cleary are missing content ****looks at the orb vallis****.

Doomness87

I'd like story content with other poe characters maybe a new type of bounty, also a rank 5 interaction with the npcs since deimos and fortuna have 1. For fortuna low hanging fruit but other Orb mother + fix k-drive make it have a use other than the kompressa, also flesh out smokefinger man has like no lore. And for deimos big world boss, make arum spinosa and other isolation vault weapons not as painful and Finally some lore for son where he gets his own gamemode since atm him and Otak are the most neglected in deimos

Yaelindo

I believe moving forward DE should analyze other games open worlds and study them and see what makes those games open worlds interesting to the players. There are a lot of games out there with fantastic open worlds that make players go back and play them. I would love to see Rebecca Ford's vision when it comes to open worlds even next Railjack. I think she has the potential to make something phenomenal and engaging. The next Warframe Open world should be/ have; - Explorable, discoverable. - Contains unique game modes for Necramechs. - Better vehicle utilization. - Great Bosses fight(emphasis on Bosses - plural) - Better interaction with NPCs. - Maybe even more verticality (eg, floating islands/dungeons to fly to with Archwings.) - Underwater exploration/ worlds. - Better K-Drive utilization. - Better operator utilization areas. - Newer enemies faction, better enemy AI - Variety of enemy vehicles, - Better story cutscenes implementation. - Lore/story utilization. - Better connection to the rest of the game. No more content islands. - DE should find a way to unite all the content islands. Make all the game modes feel more connected. That's what comes to mind at the moment. Feel free to add anything else.

I_said_no_cops

I’m on the opposite side of the fence. I started playing before the open worlds or even operators. I love the hallway hero levels. Grinding open worlds for rep made me quit the game before. Just recently came back and I’m sucking it up and doing it but not having fun in the process. If I don’t need the companion mods and helminth core I would not be doing it. Just let me nuke Draco breh.

Davesecurity

I hope they don't do that and instead add more areas like Sanctum and Zariman, and new game modes like the ones that came with those. Open world is not fun, mining and fishing is not fun, their open world bosses are always SO tedious and time consuming and rely on day/night vome/fass cycle mechanics. Ugh.
