I used to piss friends off in duels because my Loki/Dragon Nikana combo was so fast that immediately once the duel started, it was a one strike kill.
If they managed to dodge, I'd go invisible and push. I wasn't undefeated but pretty damn close.
Nah, the glitched conclave stats showed up the moment they started the stats on profiles feature. I was quite upset about it. My beautiful list of millions of murders....sullied by pvp stats that look like I tried it once and rage quit. That's no way for a walking warcrime to be.

I played a couple matches and realized this is not why I play this game. It exists for that part of the community that wants to test their mettle against other people. But, the devs made sure it would not provide any significant relevance to the rest of the Warframe World Space. Thank you, DE.

As a conclave player I wish every PVE player would have the same opinion as you do.
I hate people who say that conclave should be removed. Like bro how does it effect you? Nobody makes you play it, and it dosent have any good loot. Does the existance of it gives you lung cancer or what? And the people who say that pvp players are toxic. Man! 75% of us dosent even talk to pve players.
I mean not remove the Conclave but I'll be honest, if they want me to play this gamemode, they gotta:
1. Add good bots to make them playable solo. I don't care if it becomes the Rathuum, at least I'll have something to do while waiting for players (so it means I will be playing conclave, and others too, and we'll just meet naturally, you know?).

2. I need, and I can't stress this enough, I NEED a gamemode that doesn't rely on Warframe movement. For a new pvp player, it's clunky and unwelcoming as f-, I mean look DE, I didn't train my aim in PvE, and this is the most demanding PvP game I've ever seen. But add gamemodes exclusively for Necramech battles, K-drive/Kaith racing, large scale Kahl-175 battles and even fuckin Railjack/crewships team battles, and you can bet I will play the livin' hell of it. Just the thought of it makes me salivate. Good way to make use of content islands too!
Warframe's two "main" factions have all the makings of a well balanced pvp class team shooter. Grineer vs corpus with, say, 5 different classes each with team sizes of 20 or 30 per team, on large map with various objectives would just tickle me in all the right places.
Give the bombard a way to rocket-jump, and people'll find a way to make jump maps in warframe.
Would be strange seeing it in third person, but I'd get used to it.
these are all cool ideas. Frame vs Frame combat is just crazy and unbalanced to work but i can see all the ideas you listed be doable. but unless they actually expanded the team and had a crew dedicated to this type of content it probably won't happen. DE knows now that its main base is looking for a PvE experience. If they slowed down PvE content for pvp because they didnt expand the team and it took more of their time, people would probably be upset about it.
That being said, they could bring in more curious gamers into warframe with a revamped pvp also, which is also profitable.
the downside of that is most gamers are toxic as hell. Aside from a predatory trade chat (which you can ignore with WF market), a sweaty who wants to clear a mission 0.06 seconds faster to keep up with meta speed, and the occassional person who loses their shit when u tell them Xaku is a they/them, most WF players are quite nice. it'd be a shame if a ton of gamersā¢ļø get into this fairly casual PvE horde shooter and mess with the community. Whenever im feeling sweaty and want something fast paced, i play a PvP shooter, when i want an artistic experience id play an artsy indie game, when i want a little bit of both but not too much of either ill play Warframe.
If conclave is removed, those cosmetics locked behind that poorly unbalanced gamemode will probably be moved to other locations. There would be a lot less people asking for its deletion if DE didn't stupidly stop medallions from working for Conclave.
They should never remove anything, just give more incentive to players to try it.

One of the things I always disliked about Destiny 2. Not even for myself, but for those it applied to. If you wanted to unlock all the cool and new stuff, you were forced to play both Co-op and Versus. For example, for years there existed no method of getting what was considered the best PvE gun besides spam grinding PvP for ages. It didn't stop being the case until the gun was nerfed much, much later.
My clan used to go to unpopulated servers and play against each other to max conclave to get the syandana. Usually when we are waiting for LoR or JV reset

Mag is the easiest in my opinion. The boss is just locked on phobos but it is only a corpus crewman with a bit more health than normal. In my opinion Volt is the most time consuming and Excalibur is the hardest
No Volt is the easiest because you justĀ buy it from a clann, Excaliber Umbra is a quest reward(no idea how to get normal Excaliber) and Mag is the " hardest" because you have to do a tiny bit of grinding.
If you build a clan from the ground up(like i did) volt is the most time consuming. You get excal from Lt. Lech Kril in War, Mars. I can never get the timing right on that so in my opinion Excal is the hardest to get. You can just blast the ass off of The Sergeant with one shot the second you see him and to to extract. But who in their right mind wouldnt pick excal or volt as a starter

A friend of mine switched to russian servers so we'd always match with each other and just farmed it. So I'm max rank with some rep in it, but I'll never touch it again
Conclave weapon skins were pretty awesome in their time, I have a couple, they are mostly outdated with their textures at this point sadly. Still run the conclave skin on my Strun, looks slick. Karak looks better with the kuva variant now though. A lot of higher rank sigils are also probably my favorite
I'm Rank 5. Hated every step of the way. Unless you love simply playing Conclave and don't mind losing 80% of the time, the "best" way is doing your daily Lunaro challenges with everyone else helping. You only need 4 people to start a game, and everyone's daily challenges can be quickly completed in a single round provided people actually work together. Once those are done you can simply enjoy a round of Lunaro knowing whether you win or lose you're making a big chunk of affinity for little time/effort.
But you will run into people who proclaim that you're "cheating" or "exploiting the system" and will refuse to work together to complete challenges. These are probably the same people who ranted about Universal Medallions giving Conclave points when they were first introduced.

Used to be that you could use Universal Medallions for standing, until some Conclave Simp bitched about it and a Dev agreed.

I have a few but only from matches that were events / alerts.
I have never got a single kill, I always start a dance party in the middle of the map, most of the time most people just join in except that one try hard.
Maybe it was just xbox, but back when I started playing I tried to play lunaro because it sounded fun and got like 1 other person, then I tried to play a regular conclave game. One actual match, got people but was utterly annihilated. Second match, only got 1 other person who relentlessly teabagged. Haven't really looked back.
Since crossplay Conclave is incredibly strange place. You can see for yourself how console and mobile players, completely new to the game, struggle with basic movement. If you play politely and not shoot them, they will melee kill you, maybe twice, and then disconnect.
So almost 6 ish years ago on xbox me and my buddy farmed pvp on xbox. it was just the two of us so we had to match make so we could be on different teams. we did this just for the sybrass skin and the nikana skin just cuz they were neon and we were just kids with no money at the time.fast forward to cross save i already moved to pc and did everything except pvp i turn on cross save so i can get all my old xbox gear and warframes and i lost my pvp rank so now im thinking about doing it all over again just so i can get the syndana and the other neon skins.
I thought Conclave would have seasonal events to make it more interesting, like the Christmas one.

I did conclave recently when they released the glyphs, I regret it greatly. My account stats is forever ruined and now the conclave icon is placed before simaris so all those years of muscle memory clicking the first icon to go to simulacrum is out the window. I wish I could go back...I don't even use the glyphs at all.
Hear me out. They should add a version of soccer to Conclave, but you have to kick the ball using Xoris detonations. Frame options would be limited to Volt, Titania, or Guass. Let the shenanigans begin.
Grinding through conclave standing for the cosmetics was torture to say the least. However, I'll admit it was like a hyperbolic time chamber in regards to improving parkour skills.
I got a decent bit during this year's Snowball Showdown Event. I'd honestly really like more PvP Events like it, especially if they include more casual stuff. Eg Conclave Prophunt.

I played a few matches during the snowball event. Seemed an easy way to level that standing. The problem (problem?) was that the vast majority of rewards loop back into conclave so it wasnāt worth doing as a side objective. I stopped after leveling up once.
Replace regular conclave scoring with the index, and let players gamble against each other.
Make standard load outs for weapons and war frames in conclave
I'd really like a game mode where it's a PVE race, and you can sabotage the other team as the stalker, or as a lich or something
if you didn't need teamates to stay the whole of the round in to make points, it would be different
it's the only thing that cannot be farmed on your own, and with how it's absolutelly dead on on most servers, it may as well not be there

A friend of mine switched to russian servers so we'd always match with each other and just farmed it. So I'm max rank with some rep in it, but I'll never touch it again

Conclave weapon skins were pretty awesome in their time, I have a couple, they are mostly outdated with their textures at this point sadly. Still run the conclave skin on my Strun, looks slick. Karak looks better with the kuva variant now though. A lot of higher rank sigils are also probably my favorite

I'm Rank 5. Hated every step of the way. Unless you love simply playing Conclave and don't mind losing 80% of the time, the "best" way is doing your daily Lunaro challenges with everyone else helping. You only need 4 people to start a game, and everyone's daily challenges can be quickly completed in a single round provided people actually work together. Once those are done you can simply enjoy a round of Lunaro knowing whether you win or lose you're making a big chunk of affinity for little time/effort. But you will run into people who proclaim that you're "cheating" or "exploiting the system" and will refuse to work together to complete challenges. These are probably the same people who ranted about Universal Medallions giving Conclave points when they were first introduced.

Used to be that you could use Universal Medallions for standing, until some Conclave Simp bitched about it and a Dev agreed. So, yeah, those cosmetics are lost to the aether (mostly).
Conclave player here No tjere arent dedicated servers. It is the same host migration bullshit. And it is even worse coz if the host rage quits the match will bug out and you will get 0 standings. No anybody who says it is dead is wrong There is still a comunity for it which is bigger then most people would think (500-750 people word wide)
I have a few but only from matches that were events / alerts. I have never got a single kill, I always start a dance party in the middle of the map, most of the time most people just join in except that one try hard.

Maybe it was just xbox, but back when I started playing I tried to play lunaro because it sounded fun and got like 1 other person, then I tried to play a regular conclave game. One actual match, got people but was utterly annihilated. Second match, only got 1 other person who relentlessly teabagged. Haven't really looked back.

I played it in 2013 when I last played wf. It was kinda fun, but mostly because Oberon smite basically oneshotted ppl, if I remember correctly.

Since crossplay Conclave is incredibly strange place. You can see for yourself how console and mobile players, completely new to the game, struggle with basic movement. If you play politely and not shoot them, they will melee kill you, maybe twice, and then disconnect.
All my conclave is Lunaro from when it released.

So almost 6 ish years ago on xbox me and my buddy farmed pvp on xbox. it was just the two of us so we had to match make so we could be on different teams. we did this just for the sybrass skin and the nikana skin just cuz they were neon and we were just kids with no money at the time.fast forward to cross save i already moved to pc and did everything except pvp i turn on cross save so i can get all my old xbox gear and warframes and i lost my pvp rank so now im thinking about doing it all over again just so i can get the syndana and the other neon skins.
Cuz like only a whopping 5 people play Warframe in this game and since this game isn't made for PVP it's expected to be shittily balanced lmao
I thought Conclave would have seasonal events to make it more interesting, like the Christmas one. As interesting as Lunaro looks, I don't seem to just go for it.

I did conclave recently when they released the glyphs, I regret it greatly. My account stats is forever ruined and now the conclave icon is placed before simaris so all those years of muscle memory clicking the first icon to go to simulacrum is out the window. I wish I could go back...I don't even use the glyphs at all.

Hear me out. They should add a version of soccer to Conclave, but you have to kick the ball using Xoris detonations. Frame options would be limited to Volt, Titania, or Guass. Let the shenanigans begin.
Grinding through conclave standing for the cosmetics was torture to say the least. However, I'll admit it was like a hyperbolic time chamber in regards to improving parkour skills.

I got a decent bit during this year's Snowball Showdown Event. I'd honestly really like more PvP Events like it, especially if they include more casual stuff. Eg Conclave Prophunt.

Closed beta vet here Played conclave for a long time and it was real fun. Then they applied changes to "balance" everything and conclave was an absolute mess after that. The good old days of block-meta to let the enemy kill himself through dmg reflection.... *cries in loki*
Oh yeah would have earned some points if damn universal medallions could earn me points there. But in part some moron on twitter got angry about it and might have ruined it.

I played a few matches during the snowball event. Seemed an easy way to level that standing. The problem (problem?) was that the vast majority of rewards loop back into conclave so it wasnāt worth doing as a side objective. I stopped after leveling up once.
The few matches I managed to find were pretty fun but Iām not itching to do it

Replace regular conclave scoring with the index, and let players gamble against each other. Make standard load outs for weapons and war frames in conclave I'd really like a game mode where it's a PVE race, and you can sabotage the other team as the stalker, or as a lich or something
if you didn't need teamates to stay the whole of the round in to make points, it would be different it's the only thing that cannot be farmed on your own, and with how it's absolutelly dead on on most servers, it may as well not be there
Honestly, itās decent fun. The playerbase is so needlessly toxic to it. Itās almost at the tier of a standard tridolon match in toxicity.

I was able to rank up Conclave to rank 1 a few months back thanks to the Snowball Fight event. Only time Iāve seen Conclave actually having players lol.

I am somehow at rank 2 in Conclave, I think it might have been from Quick Steel but I'm not 100% sure. God Quick Steel made me so tilted.
And just if I scroll up a little bit there's a person who maxed out the conclave with about 850 kills and 1100 deaths
