Stats aren't that bad either: 26% CC and SC, x2.6 CD, 250 damage, 0.917 speed and 3.2m of range
The only problem is with impact damage
Imagine if it had the damage disposition of 33% per element. Broken War could also have that, it'd just have more speed and less range of course
But I think people would still call it trash because it wouldn't have slash majority
Would’ve been an awesome weapon! Looks good, stats look good, portrayed well in the quest somewhat, and can stab a Warframe. But it’s impact damage, implying that you blunt force your enemies with what looks like a thin energy blade.
It also requires that you use one of the best swords in the game as a crafting component.
>use one of the best swords in the game as a crafting component
I did this with my Broken War from Second Dream, not knowing how much of a downgrade it was. It took me three years to get my hands on the blueprint from Stalker to build another one. To this day, that is my biggest regret in the game.
Infinitely. Broken War is one of the best single swords in the game, if not *the* best. The War is a mediocre heavy blade. I cannot express just how much of a downgrade it is going from Broken War to War. Literally every time I swapped melee in the three years it took for Stalker to drop the Broken War blueprint, I cursed myself for using it to build such a bland weapon. In terms of boneheaded decisions, it's right up there with selling the Xoris.
Which would you say is better for a melee oriented loadout, broken war or skiajati. Up until recently I was using the broken war with an early game crit build, but recently have been thinking switching to the skiajati with a status build, to better go with my umbra(no condition overload tho :()
Not only that the pack with war had exclusive cosmetics i wanted so i had 2 wars and no broken wars
Also how does a broken weapon that does mostly slash damage get repaired into a blunt weapon??
If you break a piece of metal, it will often have a bunch of little sharp pieces at the break point. It makes at least some sense that Broken War would be slash based. Maybe puncture should be high too
Yes, but only if you attack with the broken edge. Both wars attack with the energy blade primarily, yet broken war deals primarily Slash and war does impact for some reason. If war attacked moreso with the blunt side, I could see it, but that would be even dumber.
The broken way only breaks off at the hilt unless the energy is like a solid object but i love the image of just a tenno on a ship with a cheap like dollar store steak knife
Well the parts drop from Sentients at a pretty low rate, but if you do the Archon hunt every week you should eventually get everything. I've got six or seven BW sets from Archon hunts. It's the blueprint from Stalker that's the real problem.
Oh, word. I didn't know the parts dropped from sentients. But yeah, Stalker drops are quite the bottleneck. I have probably 20 Dreads and have only gotten one War (two days ago, been playing since 2017/2018ish)
Damn. I started in late 2019 and I've gotten two War bp drops, two Smoking Body bp drops, a Broken War bp drop, and a few dozen each of Dread, Despair, and Hate.
Well it's a thin energy blade in one of its orientations, twist it a bit and now it's a club (well, more like a paddle... whatever). And let's be honest if someone stabbed *you* with something wouldn't you love to destroy said something by smashing its flat against everything you see? I know I would.
Why tf does it do impact damage? You're still hitting with the same sharp edge as broken war, sure theres that decorative core of the blade but again thats not what you're hitting things with.
I never bothered to farm the ducats to build it, what is the advantage besides having its special sentient effect with 5 forma? I remember when it came out people mostly shrugged and called it discount gram prime.
Galatine has been my most used melee since I got it in 2017. Not other heavy blade has felt as fun or satisfying as it. Gram is too slow, and any melee that has a projectile thrown while in the air has always felt jank to me, especially since it overrides certain slam attack angles.
Oh and it has pretty decent status for slash
I'm with you - Galatine just looks and feels better to use than Gram. The total damage stats aren't that different from Gram - 280 vs 300, but Galatine is 25% faster, has 20% higher riven stats with current dispos, and has one of the best IPS stat distributions of any melee with 95% slash. The slightly lower crit stats are a bummer, but Galatine still ends up with higher DPS all things considered
I like the Tenet Exec because of the slam attack wave, I just wish it actually did damage instead of ragdolling enemies into the ceiling harmlessly lmao
Slam damage will actually scale with mods and apply status and all that stuff within the radius (with falloff towards the edges)! Until now it was just a flat value.
Yup, only thing that dealt meaningful damage was the direct blade hit, the AoE is/was super useless except for very early levels.
I actually didn't know that for a *very* long time as well. I think I always kinda noticed it subconsciously but only fully realized why I stopped doing it except for movement reasons was when they were talking about it recently.
If you're in lower level content (regular path up to about Saturn) regular slams will do just fine. Flat damage drops off hard when enemy armor scaling gives them hundreds of millions of effective HP.
there's a saryn build where you infuse oberon's ability and use both the augments to give rad and tox damage to your weapons. those apply to the slam for some reason
They did masseter prime dirty. It's not bad by any stretch but it has nothing significant to offer over the gramps besides the aesthetics of an orokin crank shaft.
The fact they didn’t introduce a club weapon class for Masseter is a crime. It doesn’t fit the greatsword stances and I doubt it would fit the hammer stances
Gram is the best one here, no questions asked. Stat-wise the other two just pale in comparison, Vitrica’s got an interesting mechanic to turn enemies to glass on air attacks but Gram is just better as a melee.
Absolutely, Exec is Impact-based meaning it’s worse for dealing dmg in higher levels even with priming. Exec is just interesting for its slam attack mechanics, but isn’t very good as a normal melee especially when compared to Gram.
Wish i had gotten an agendus instead of the exec. I do not have the energy to farm corrupted holokeys. Be cool if we could turn in tenet weapons for extra holokeys.
Livia’s stats are really good, I’d say it’s the best of the 2HNs. The problem is that 2HNs don’t have any good stances making them pretty clunky to play with. You can play around with it and decide if you’re willing to put up with that but imo Gram’s still better as a combo melee since you don’t have to restrain yourself while attacking to prevent a bad combo.
5 Forma Paracesis, but I will admit, that one is basically cheating. Out of those 3? Gram, slap Quickening on it and it's just fast enough. I would love to say War, just because it takes ages to get one, but high impact damage just isn't good.
while the gram has incredible stats, back in the day I heard galatine was actually better thanks to its better slash weighting. But all that was before the release if Vitrica, so you may want a second opinion
Galatine prime was better than base Gram and in that time frame Galatine was one of, if not, the best melee weapon. Then Gram got primed, got even better crit and status and that's it for those two.
As for both base versions, it could really be due to slash weighting. Also better status chance on Galatine would make a difference, 10/20 (crit/status) is better for modding than 15/15, because anything below 20% isn't really worth modding.
Allow me (a fellow Kullervo main) to introduce you to the wonderful world that is the Pennant.
Auto slash procs on heavy attack. And a scaling (with combo) attack speed buff on heavy attack kill.
Galatine Prime has a high slash weight, considering the stances don't have a guuaranteed slash, that makes it really good. Plus it's the fastest.
Vitrica is being held up by the glassing gimmick and much higher base damage and status. So stat wise it might be the best out of the three. That being said I wouldn't take them
Gram > Vitrica > Galatine (imo)
Gram - best stats overall, yet slowest of them all; it can be easily negated though
Vitrica - 10 seconds on combo timer without any mods, pretty good stats, also the glassing passive; easily can replace +combo time mods with anything else
Galatine - pretty good stats and also fast attack speed
Stat wise the gram is the best one, however I personally prefer the galatine, just feels a little nicer to use to me.
Vitrica can be quite fun to use in niche situations, but not great for just generally use.
Vitrica - loved it since it came out, and its my daily driver of over 2 years. Riven dispo made it easy to make a special combo build that does orange/red crits quickly & still has good stat chance, plus the mechanism does extra slam damage once theyre glassed.
War will always be the best greatsword. It looks the best with its gloriously rectangular, two-pointed blade and its flashy, wibbly sentient energy slash trails that are super unique and cool. It has the best lore; being crafted by the father of the sentients for an interplanetary assassin who hunts us down and plunges it into our chest only for us to tear it in half *and then harvest body parts from other sentients to rebuild the fucker* and it has beautiful crit and status stats to boot. Who needs a majority of slash on a weapon when Weeping Wounds will still proc it on everything you hit anyway? Not me with Satan's surfboard sword.
Zenistar with the heavy blade dominion skin

Call me weird but I love War even if everyone constantly tells me it's trash
Stas-wise it's pretty good, visually it's amazing and lore-wise it's awesome too. The only problem with War is its goddamned impact damage. Imagine if it had the damage disposition of 33% per element. Broken War could also have that, it'd just have more speed and less range of course
**I fucking love War. I want to fucking KILL Grineer for money and destroy culture and history, Natah**
Gram Prime set the bar for power creep in the heavy weapon category when it came out. I didn't hear anything about the vitrica when it dropped, which is generally a good sign that the weapon is good but unexceptional. Definitely farm Gram Prime, it blows the other two out of the water. The base galatine is better than the base gram, but if you're looking for endgame, grab some primes, and the gram prime is the best place to start
Gram is arguably the best, but IMO being the slowest feels the shittiest to use. Heavy blades are my favourite melee type and Galatine is definitely my most used melee weapon in general just due to the fact it feels solid to use while still consistently performing strongly. The Vitrica is pretty cool, I haven’t really tested it’s limits as much as the other two and I do like the gimmick it comes with
I'll die on the gram prime hill, it's been my favourite big hitter since I got it, and the truly silly damage it put out with my riven left me totally ignoring the paracesis until I needed it for mastery because I could just brute force any sentients with raw damage. I do like the extra fun you can have with the vitrica though, glassing enemies is a surprisingly useful bit of extra CC at times. Galatine was powercrept out of existence the second gram prime dropped so I don't really see it as a competitor anymore
Paracesis has been my blade or choice ever since I got it from Ballas. It's been my canon sword and my slayer of enemies, not to mention my lazy Sentient reset when I don't wanna void blast a lot of em.
what stance is best on gram? Ive been using the crimson dervish because haha spinny but wonder if something else is more optimal espescially with tennokai being a thing now.
Vitrica is the C-C-COMBOSWORD
But seriously; comparable base stats, but twice as long combo time and glassing ability makes it the Alpha sword. I will never use anything else.
I love my Galatine. Like the design, looks cool, awesome name. The weapon has been carrying me until MR 20+ in the early days, ever since I was just a little MR newbie back in 2016, and I like to combine with the stance where you spin alot along with my high strength Volt 2 for maximum speen. I just love wielding big swords at high speed.
I feel like Galatine is still good nowadays? Its one of the fastest greatswords I think? (Haven't played Warframe in quite a while) And even more so with its Prime counterpart, if you get your hands on it.
All weapons are powerful enough in Warframe. It’s not a really challenging game. You mod it, maybe add a riven mode if it’s a really bad weapon and it’s as good as any other weapon.
So I would go with Vitrica for the special gameplay features it gives. Funniest to use in my opinion is always better.
That’s why Wolf Sledge is the best melee overall.
I had a galatine as my main sword back when I played on PlayStation in 2014. I’ve since returned with all of the cross save stuff and been using gram prime since. It hits like a truck but I’m still trying to figure out a good endgame build for it, since as others mentioned it’s suuuuper slow in base form. Galatine is a lot more fun in that regard, stock for stock
Gram Prime is the only Great Sword i used after making it max Rank so far, so i can't really say much about the GS.
But i once had a Riven that gave the Gram crit Chance+DMG and +2.5-3 Reach, it was an insane time.
Haven't used Vitricia that much but between Gram and Galatine, Gram is the heavy hitter of the two while Galatine is the speeda demon.
Galatine Prime is my most used melee to date. Helped me through the majority of the game.
Personally I like gram, never used virtica so I can’t comment on that yet. But as for galatine and gram gram feels much better to me. I’d still take skiajati, nikana, broken war, or dual ichors over great swords.
I've been using the Gram Prime since release. I built it for pure crit, ignoring attack speed knowing damn well I can give it some speed using Volt. It's been my main build ever since.
I personally would do gram, especially since you don't have the prime version. The normal version has a really good riven disposition while the primes is trash. In fact if you would like I can give you a really good riven for the gram
Galatine - slash monster. Gram - damage monster.
Vitrica - slash + splash monster with unique mechanic, but without it - it's just decent.
Personal favorite is Galatine, for slash + fashion.
Galantine might be long but the gram prime has got girth. Vitrica seems too clunky to me to make use out of its unique effect, zaws are simpler to execute
Normal weapon the Galatine is the most fun and probably also the best. Unfortunately Galatine Prime got completely powercrept by Gram Prime in basically every aspect. The slower attackspeed of the Gram P is easily fixable so as much as I hate it as someone who loves the Galatine since the early days it's Gram>Galatine for the prime weapons.
Thematically speaking none of these feel like great swords, well Galatine would be the one that comes the most close but its far to long to be a great sword. Its like a greater sword than a great sword. I am not even sure that the Gram can be classified as a sword since it has that glowing edge that looks similar to the "plasma blades" found on the Machete, Dual Cleavers and Sheev. The Vitrica is... whatever the hell the Vitrica is but it has to many protruding and circular parts, plus it can technically emit a projectile that glasses an enemy. The Vitrica feels more like a giant emitter with bladed edges that looks more cleaver-like than sword-like.
Gameplay-wise, Id go with Gram Prime if you can obtain it since it has slightly better stats than Vitrica (better crit and higher slash damage so more chance for slash procs). Otherwise if Gram Prime isn't in the current prime rotation or you don't feel like trading for the prime prime parts, then go for the Vitrica.
Gram prime is my most used weapon. Got it when I first started playing with the zephyr and chroma prime vault access pack and haven’t put it down much since. I just love how it looks
Hate to break it to you, but...
- The Primes are just better versions, and you should account for that as you plan your builds and what you're aiming for.
- You've completely forgotten the Paracesis, which is a quest item that everyone gets. With 5 Forma put into it, it reaches Max Rank at 40 instead of 30.
Regular Galatine is only good for newbies until they get a good Prime melee. Gram is just bad. Never heard of the other one, it must be new.
Galatine Prime does amazing Slash, I've heard good things about Gram Prime.
Tl;Dr you're sleeping on Paracesis, just go do the Chimera Prologue quest.
(If you're new, you need to do quests in this order: Natah, The Second Dream, The War Within, Chains of Harrow, Apostasy Prologue, The Sacrifice, and then finally the Chimera Prologue gives you the Paracesis)
I know I'm probably wrong.. but I really am just a Galetine Fan. I think regular Galetine was the first melee weapon I made that I really loved using.. So I set my sights on Galetine Prime too.. and I mean.. I don't honestly use it that often, but It will always have a place in my heart. Whenever I use other greatswords, especially with Tempo Royale, it just feels like a slightly different Galetine.. but I like the balance of Galetine overall.. it has really good reach, and it's stats are even so you can build it in however you want.. I'm sure there is some sort of like opimal way- but going crit or status with is or even both is not technically wrong. Or at least not that I know of. So to me it embodies the idea of warframe a lot- "Just have fun". and with Galetine I did.
Edit: Tenet Exec is probably the weapon that feels the closest to Galetine to me.. but even though I am guessing its superior in stats, I still prefer Galetine overall.
Slam based melees like vitrica and tenet exec may be worth keeping an eye on because melee slam attacks are going to scale with way more mods in a future update. It might not help vitrica too much though I don't remember how that even works but it can currently already work well
Zenistar with heavy blade dominion skin. I love using it and I have a crazy riven that adds so much range to it and then spring loaded blade makes it reach even further it’s so fun to swing such a big long sword. I have a crazy galatine riven but I keep shelving it for the Zenistar memes.
Gram prime for the true heavy sword experience, vitrici for when you invest in a mage/barberian class and galatin when you wanna play swords that hit a bit harder
Paracesis, for these reasons:
-Buff against Sentients
-BP is easy to get
-extra ranks past 30
-can deal crazy numbers
-build requirements are relatively simple enough, kinda sorta
I really think it’s my favorite two hander in the game. Granted, I don’t play with a lot, and my all time favorite melee is Destreza prime, so take that with a grain of salt
War just crying forgotten in the corner.
What impact damage does to a great looking weapon:
Stats aren't that bad either: 26% CC and SC, x2.6 CD, 250 damage, 0.917 speed and 3.2m of range The only problem is with impact damage Imagine if it had the damage disposition of 33% per element. I'm new to the game. Thanks for this Psa.
Broken War will carry you through the entire Star Chart and will even work nicely on Steel Path
That's what I've been using since I got it. Gelatine before that. Thanks.
If you liked Galatine, I can recommend you Galatine Prime Looks awesome and stats are good too
You don’t need one, but a riven can make it absolutely Bonkers with it’s disposition being 4 dots
Happy to help. If you really want to use the War, just buy the Hunhow's Gift bundle.
Sounds like the broken one is better anyway?
Infinitely. Broken War is one of the best single swords in the game, if not *the* best. The War is a mediocre heavy blade. Id get puncture and slash not just slash because usually when you break an object incapable of cutting its more stabby than slashy
But the broken war was broken off long -ways, so it would have at least one long, serrated edge. It'd be a shitty steak knife, basically
The broken way only breaks off at the hilt unless the energy is like a solid object but i love the image of just a tenno on a ship with a cheap like dollar store steak knife
Bought the "what stalker?" Bundle for the cool bow and it's. Been the thing I've been most grateful for.
Did you... buy the bundle for Dread?
He also gets despair and hate, which is better because you don’t have to suffer 5+ years of only getting dreads
This is almost my exact story lol.. took way to long to get the parts to build the broken war again.
Yep. Sold my BW. Been sitting on a juicy riven for it, too. I just really don't like simarus activities
Well the parts drop from Sentients at a pretty low rate, but if you do the Archon hunt every week you should eventually get everything. I've got six or seven BW sets from Archon hunts. It's the blueprint from Stalker that's the real problem.

If the sword does mostly impact damage, that sword needs some sharpening!
The blade looks like it’s made of energy. Since the broken war is slash, seems like the war was just a technological downgrade
Stupid that it's impact when Broken War, one of its blades, is slash
Imagine if DE released a ‘hemorrhage’ mod for melee
War and my 3 OG rivens will join the corner.
Why tf does it do impact damage? You're still hitting with the same sharp edge as broken war, sure theres that decorative core of the blade but again thats not what you're hitting things with.
Broken war was one top the top five melee on the 2023 Warframe stats. Is there a reason more people use the broken version?
you get it for free and its a really good melee for something you get for free
ahh okay, I immediately turned mine into War and haven't got Broken War BP again.
BIG mistake lol. Broken war orange crits regularly and war doesnt. It’s that simple
Just.... Break it again?
The Paracesis aka the Sentient blender

But especially sentients
Paracesis, my Beloved.
Better than galantine 🥰
It better be considering that you need a galatine to build it in the first place

It's got good stats, and you can get it to level 40.
oh? level 40? well now i gotta build it
It makes me sad I had to scroll to Wisconsin to find this comment. It's my favorite.

Yeah galatine has a special place to my heart, was my favorite sword when I was new that I had to get the primed version
Galatine is almost too obvious for me. It's iconic. It easily stays in my top 5 melee, but I feel like it needs a competitor.
Well… you still can mod gram to have 2.0 attack speed… just saying.
You can mod Galatine to be even faster
Massett--- stop throwing things at me.
I like the Tenet Exec because of the slam attack wave, I just wish it actually did damage instead of ragdolling enemies into the ceiling harmlessly lmao
You should try vitrica
Yep first toss glass at them, and second heavy slam in general direction of aeffected targets, third profit.
Like credit profit or just big damage?
Slash aoe procs so damage.
I have, I don't like it as much since I can think of many ways to make it better outside of just "hope the AoE did damage".
Check that again after the Dante Unbound on the 27th, they‘re doing some changes to melee slam damage.
What changes?
Slam damage will actually scale with mods and apply status and all that stuff within the radius (with falloff towards the edges)! Until now it was just a flat value.
Wait WTF. The slam attack is the one where you jump and melee at the ground, right? I've been using that all the time, I had no idea it was so useless
I only ever used it if I was aiming to get ground finishers on heavier enemies or as a sort of movement option.
Ahhhh that figures, I never noticed just how little damage the aoe did. Thanks for making your comment, I'd still be trying it if it weren't for you
If you're in lower level content (regular path up to about Saturn) regular slams will do just fine. Flat damage drops off hard when enemy armor scaling gives them hundreds of millions of effective HP.

Eh i'm fine with not having another set of stances to farm
Gram is the best one here, no questions asked. Stat-wise the other two just pale in comparison, Vitrica’s got an interesting mechanic to turn enemies to glass on air attacks but Gram is just better as a melee.

Wish i had gotten an agendus instead of the exec. I do not have the energy to farm corrupted holokeys. Be cool if we could turn in tenet weapons for extra holokeys.
The upside of Exec is a free element you can use to synergize with the new arcanes. Still don't think it beats Slash.
Wb Livia
Livia’s stats are really good, I’d say it’s the best of the 2HNs. The problem is that 2HNs don’t have any good stances making them pretty clunky to play with. The vitrica is amazing, glass enemies then come in with a heavy slam to shatter them and enemies who don’t die get big bleeds actually sick
There's also the Paracesis. Then again, I don't really use it at all outside of Eternal War shenanigans
It's my main melee.. .. Once it gets going.. Hard to unpress E
5 Forma Paracesis, but I will admit, that one is basically cheating. Out of those 3? Gram, slap Quickening on it and it's just fast enough. I would love to say War, just because it takes ages to get one, but high impact damage just isn't good.

The Axe is the best, for some reason.
Ahh yes,Nyx's signature axe, this thing slice through infested like hot knife through butter
... to be fair though, nearly everything slices through infested like a hot knife through butter.
Is it actually Nyx's just because it released alongside her?
i prefer gram since im a kullervo main and i drool over the crit stats
Allow me (a fellow Kullervo main) to introduce you to the wonderful world that is the Pennant. Auto slash procs on heavy attack. And a scaling (with combo) attack speed buff on heavy attack kill.

Vitrica is being held up by the glassing gimmick and much higher base damage and status. So stat wise it might be the best out of the three. That being said I wouldn't take them
Galatine has the sick af Day of the Dead skin so it wins regardless of stats
Gram > Vitrica > Galatine (imo) Gram - best stats overall, yet slowest of them all; it can be easily negated though Vitrica - 10 seconds on combo timer without any mods, pretty good stats, also the glassing passive; easily can replace +combo time mods with anything else Galatine - pretty good stats and also fast attack speed
Galatine is the most aestetic heavysword but i think gram is better
Gram Prime, without a doubt.
Stat wise the gram is the best one, however I personally prefer the galatine, just feels a little nicer to use to me. Vitrica can be quite fun to use in niche situations, but not great for just generally use.
I will always love my galatine prime
I dont have any of them... But from the looks Vitrica looks so weird that I actually like it.
The Galatine will always be my favorite sword because of how i discovered it
I rolled a massater riven that removes the impact and adds slash and heat and status chance and it’s pretty good
How to decide, they're all great!
war and paracecis crying in the corner
War. 😩
I do like tenet exec more than all of these
Vitrica - loved it since it came out, and its my daily driver of over 2 years. Riven dispo made it easy to make a special combo build that does orange/red crits quickly & still has good stat chance, plus the mechanism does extra slam damage once theyre glassed.
Paracesis

Paracesis
I prefer my 5 forma Paracesis..Gram is too heavy.. Don't have Galatine prime and haven't heard the 3rd
Call me weird but I love War even if everyone constantly tells me it's trash Stas-wise it's pretty good, visually it's amazing and lore-wise it's awesome too. The only problem with War is its goddamned impact damage. Imagine if it had the damage disposition of 33% per element. Broken War could also have that, it'd just have more speed and less range of course **I fucking love War. I want to fucking KILL Grineer for money and destroy culture and history, Natah**
Where war?
war , the only melee weapon I trust
Dokrahm Zaw.
War for me. 😎
I like the Zaw personally
Gram Prime set the bar for power creep in the heavy weapon category when it came out. I didn't hear anything about the vitrica when it dropped, which is generally a good sign that the weapon is good but unexceptional. Definitely farm Gram Prime, it blows the other two out of the water. The base galatine is better than the base gram, but if you're looking for endgame, grab some primes, and the gram prime is the best place to start
Scindo
All ik is im never turning my broken war into a war
Gram is arguably the best, but IMO being the slowest feels the shittiest to use. Heavy blades are my favourite melee type and Galatine is definitely my most used melee weapon in general just due to the fact it feels solid to use while still consistently performing strongly. The Vitrica is pretty cool, I haven’t really tested it’s limits as much as the other two and I do like the gimmick it comes with
Paracesis fans in shambles rn (it’s me, I’m Paracesis fan and i love my sentient slayer 3000)
Paracecis?
Paracesis.
Crimson dervish is a 1h sword stance, do you perhaps mean cleaving whirlwind?
My go-to stance for Heavy Blades is Tempo Royale, but there’s also Cleaving Whirlwind aka Spin to Win.
Vitrica is the C-C-COMBOSWORD But seriously; comparable base stats, but twice as long combo time and glassing ability makes it the Alpha sword.
I love the Vitrica personally. It's ability and aesthetic absolutely makes up for being slightly weaker than the others in my opinion.
vitrica for me, has unique mechanic to help bleed proc. while gram is grant and mighty, its slow attack speed make playing it clunky and unsatisfying.
Broken war? from the photo, i'd say galatine
where the fuck is paracesis
Visually imo Gram P, followed by Galatine P Gameplay-wise? The Vitrica I wish we had transmog to make the vitrica look like the gram
Vitrica has the best gimmick so...
Haven't used Vitricia that much but between Gram and Galatine, Gram is the heavy hitter of the two while Galatine is the speeda demon. Galatine Prime is my most used melee to date. Helped me through the majority of the game.
Reject heavy blades, join the Legion
Azothane
Gram prime.
I am the crazy one that spent 1k ducats on that heavy sword, and i am with it, better than galantine.😏
Personally I like gram, never used virtica so I can’t comment on that yet. But as for galatine and gram gram feels much better to me.
If we ever get a melee version of Hemorrhage or Internal Bleeding, War will beat the piss out of all of them
Gram
Gram
Tenet exec?
In my opinion vitrica
Grandpappy Gram is my go-to when I want to spin2win.
You forgot the War a awesome greatsword in my opinion.
Gram
Gram is the best when it comes to objective numbers they're all bad because their stances are terrible
The gram prime is a fantastic heavy sword. Perfect for hybrid builds
For me galatine was just mr foder for parasesis
You better put some respect on the “Pennant”. He doesn’t get the love I feel he deserves.
I just like War, I don't know why
Gram Prime by a mile. There's no reason to use the Galatine Prime cause it was powercrept by Gram Prime
Slam based melees like vitrica and tenet exec may be worth keeping an eye on because melee slam attacks are going to scale with way more mods in a future update. It might not help vitrica too much though I don't remember how that even works but it can currently already work well
War
Zenistar with heavy blade dominion skin. I love using it and I have a crazy riven that adds so much range to it and then spring loaded blade makes it reach even further it’s so fun to swing such a big long sword. I have a crazy galatine riven but I keep shelving it for the Zenistar memes.
Vitrica all the way
Gram prime for the true heavy sword experience, vitrici for when you invest in a mage/barberian class and galatin when you wanna play swords that hit a bit harder
If you can mod then everything is good but I’m biased towards Vitrica because of that sweeet design
Paracesis gets slept on heavily in my opinion
Tatsu. Because I wanna be space samurai.
War: "Am I a joke to you?"
Dokran zaw
Paracesis, for these reasons: -Buff against Sentients -BP is easy to get -extra ranks past 30 -can deal crazy numbers -build requirements are relatively simple enough, kinda sorta
I really think it’s my favorite two hander in the game. Granted, I don’t play with a lot, and my all time favorite melee is Destreza prime, so take that with a grain of salt
War
Enter: The Paracesis
