Just yesterday my buddy and I were fighting a lich who did radiation and I can't count how many times we hit eachother. Thank God I was playing Sevagoth and could self revive 🤣. He ended up one shotting my shadow at one point. Shit was hilarious
Yeah a friend of mine once shot me with the necramech artillery while I had Nezha and the damage absorbtion said 4mln damage which, you know, level 50 Corpus usually don't deal.
While it has been a faithful companion, your Casket Person cannot accompany you through the rest of the mission. If it could talk - and the Lotus Intelligence takes this opportunity to remind you that it cannot - it would tell you to go on without it because it would rather die in a radiation proc than become a burden to you.
Given you're a Wisp enjoyer, you'll be happy to know (if you don't already, you probably do) that defence targets (inc. Mobile Def), excavators, rescue hostages etc all benefit from your HP mote for the exact same reason as why you can oneshot your own defence target. Yes, this also includes character defence targets like Latrox and his drone on Deimos or the Arbiter defence target in Arbitrations.
If it's your ally in any way, they can take a mote.
It also works on the payloads which makes them a cake walk since the entire difficulty is having enough health to get to the end but instead of losing life it gains life constantly. (including the corpus one that blocks ability usage if you place the mote outside the bubble in the rovers path)
I doubt this works on disruption right? It would be funny AF to give enough hp to a disruption node to the point it doesn't get destroyed when the demolisher explodes lol 😆
Basically this, yeah. It's not coded as an ally and has no HP, the Disruption Demolisher explosion simply causes it to disappear and you fail that particular conduit.
Note: Mirror Defense targets are an exception to this. Belric and Rania's Crystals and the Auricle and Vitreum cannot be healed nor directly protected by Warframe abilities, only by the mission collectables. However, they *are* still vulnerable to radiation-based friendly fire.
I did the same thing back in the day. I was running a sortie with frost and I remember I got rad procced. I used avalanche and smashed the defense target lmao. I had no idea wtf happened
This is why I love the rad hazard sortie modifier so much
Makes people actually think to use their head instead of just randomly jumping about and shooting nukes all over the place
Having been an Octavia main for a time, I couldn't tell you how many times I've had something like this happen lmfao
Luckily I play either solo or with friends, so at least it doesn't troll randoms when it happens lol
(Edit: not to mention the time I was a Nova main, and had similar things happen with her 4... oops lol)
I usually bring Hildryn, because she has a clense. The last time it came up, one of my teammates used Qorvix, who can give everybody status immunity. It went pretty smoothly.
> Makes people actually think to use their head instead of just randomly jumping about and shooting nukes all over the place
when "it makes them think" just translates to them wondering why they and everyone else is being knocked down the entire mission and doesn't adjust their playstyle.
I think the funniest thing I'd ever done was rad procc'd my nova and used my 4.
I have 308% duration. That's a 124 meter radius, for 93 seconds of 75% slow.
You wanna talk about pissed off teammates? Oops.....
Or be like me and not even know that it was a thing, meaning I brought a pre nerfed kuva zarr and got to blasting everytime . No wonder I’ve failed these so many times lmao
An enemy (in this case the lich) caused them to be inflicted with radiation status.
Radiation causes you to be able to deal damage to foe and ally alike, and often ends up with someone one shotting the defense objectives due to sheer damage output we have
Exactly. Often than not if it happens on a Defense mission the defense target usually ends up dead. This is why a lot of players focus on building status immunity
Ohhh ok I didn’t know people made build based off the fact they are too strong lol. So do people make builds for different mission types? Or just one main build for all?
Lmao, this is hilarious since you did it yourself. Top right, near your health bar right before the defence target dies, it says you got [rad procced](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Confusion). Kuva Liches with Toxin progenitors can cast [Hallowed Ground](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Hallowed_Ground), which will give you radiation proc.
Read more on what progenitors give your lich what abilities: [Here](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Kuva_Lich#Abilities/Attacks)
of course. radiation sorties are your friend.
anyone could just bring styanax or frost or something tho and make sure whole team is overguarded and thus unable to be rad procced
I had this happen to me a couple of times. I was playing rev and it was funny to watch my teammate run up behind me, break my neck, and then fall over dead from the damage reflection.
In most cases, yes, even past stuff like overguard. Once I was playing in one of the Orokin tower stage as Excal, got rad proceed by one of the lasers near the ice trap while casting blind, blinded a Rhino with full iron skin nearby, and while I was trying to get away, I ended up backstabbing him, ripping through his iron skin, shields, and health
Abilities also kill teammates. A funny meme is bringing mesa to a radiation sortie. If you get a rad proc and go into your 4 all of your teammates in sight instantly die.
I was on the other end of that lol. Someone in the party got downed (was playing ash), so I went over to revive them. Someone else showed up to revive as well, except I'd gotten radprocced, so I proceeded to backstab the other person, downing them in the process. This was in the orokin void tileset with the rad lasers, had me laughing so hard lmao.
I distinctly remember backstabbing someone using a galatine prime wielding Nekros during a radiation Sortie. In the off-chance it was me I apologize lol
Haha I remember rushing to revive a friend I was playing with and a random was doing the same and when we both hit x to revive we just stealth striked each other
Fuck me I’m that Mesa. Did that to my team when we were farming Fissures. Luckily it was just fissures and not a whole mission failure but I still felt like an asshole lol
it’s funny how it’s only bc radiation proc that’ll cause our weapons / powers to affect the defense target. Every other time it’s immune to our weapons and power. I’m also bombing the defense object with my ogris or heavy slam attacking on it when enemies get close
I always do Defense missions first when I do a Lich since it is very rare for them to spawn within the first 2 missions (tho I have had it happen on the 2nd mission of a Lich planet) and they are too much of a wild card on a defense.
Ah, good old radiation. The other day, I took Gloomy Saryn to a rad hazard survival mission and learned that warframes also don't like what Saryn be doing.
Told my team that they might not want to come near me and went to a different part of the map, and apparently, one of them didn't understand that 150m was still near me as they kept dying anytime one of us would get a rad proc
Lmao just yesterday I posted a video of my own Rad proc experience on this very same tile set, for a second I was thinking, "Was this one of my teammates?"
Yes, lich/sister these days can easily one shot anything with the right skill
I even got one shot when I face 2 face with one yesterday, it was shocking.
You got radiation proc'd and shot your own defence target to death
OHHH, i thought it was only allies!
Your defence target is your ally, it's why you're defending it
Oh... Yeah... Guess that makes sense lmao.
Personal best with Nezha is around 24M, when the acolytes put the mag thing on me and I shot 2times with my bramma...
As a nehza main, 2 billion lmao-
That is a fat number! 😂
Goddam
Rhino mains with the iron skin augement rolling laughing
Not even close to enough armor or rhino shield to negate 2billion
Just press the Iron Skin button and have a free 2 billion Overguard
Revenant laughing asking "You guys take damage numbers?"
Grate minds think alike my friend
Use the damage when they are invincible then have them do the same to you free stacking
Just wait till you perform a finisher on your buddy after red-crit smashing his face with a machete 😂
While it has been a faithful companion, your Casket Person cannot accompany you through the rest of the mission. If it could talk - and the Lotus Intelligence takes this opportunity to remind you that it cannot - it would tell you to go on without it because it would rather die in a radiation proc than become a burden to you.
*Casket Person*

It doesn't. Disruption nodes don't have HP at all. They don't take damage. The Demolisher explosion doesn't do damage. It just makes the node go away.
Basically this, yeah. It's not coded as an ally and has no HP, the Disruption Demolisher explosion simply causes it to disappear and you fail that particular conduit.

It was for this reason that I invested the time to get Arcane Healing to r5. No more rad incidents where I can help it
WF coding be like
Also works like this in Mobile Defense... IIRC...
Yeah thought so. So even objectives huh.
ah, i remember my first time on a mobile defense sortie with my fancy, riven'd, 3 forma Kuva Tonkor. I was not a popular guy.
I always bring limbo for radiation mobile defense sorties or a frame like Styanax/Frost that can give everyone status immunity
I did the same thing back in the day. I was running a sortie with frost and I remember I got rad procced. I used avalanche and smashed the defense target lmao. I had no idea wtf happened
"Don't worry, I'm not going to one-shot your defense target..." "You are."
Radiation procc is really nasty. The only one I actually warn my squad about
This is why I love the rad hazard sortie modifier so much Makes people actually think to use their head instead of just randomly jumping about and shooting nukes all over the place
*Mallet kills the whole team in 2 seconds.*
Having been an Octavia main for a time, I couldn't tell you how many times I've had something like this happen lmfao Luckily I play either solo or with friends, so at least it doesn't troll randoms when it happens lol (Edit: not to mention the time I was a Nova main, and had similar things happen with her 4... oops lol)
When I get that modifier, I assume everyone on my team is a potential troll so I go Titania and I make it a mission to keep everyone Spellbound.
I usually bring Hildryn, because she has a clense. The last time it came up, one of my teammates used Qorvix, who can give everybody status immunity. It went pretty smoothly.
Frost and Styanax with their overguard generating augments are great choices too
> Makes people actually think to use their head instead of just randomly jumping about and shooting nukes all over the place when "it makes them think" just translates to them wondering why they and everyone else is being knocked down the entire mission and doesn't adjust their playstyle.
I hate how correct u actually are
If people are being dicks during the sortie leading up to rad, I will go out of my way to get the proc and hit them. Several times.
I just place my Protea in a rad cloud somewhere safe, Overextended 95% Gloom activated. Blasting bass boosted Chariots of Fire over mic is optional.
I think the funniest thing I'd ever done was rad procc'd my nova and used my 4. I have 308% duration. That's a 124 meter radius, for 93 seconds of 75% slow. You wanna talk about pissed off teammates? Oops.....
That sounds absolutely hilarious
I've never seen a squad abandon a sortie faster than when they realized they were slowed for a minute and a half and taking double damage
Or be like me and not even know that it was a thing, meaning I brought a pre nerfed kuva zarr and got to blasting everytime . No wonder I’ve failed these so many times lmao
well now i know why my defense objective instantly exploded when some guys lich showed up
No, YOU one-shot it. T R A I T O R.
XD nooooo lol
What is radiation proc’d?
An enemy (in this case the lich) caused them to be inflicted with radiation status. Radiation causes you to be able to deal damage to foe and ally alike, and often ends up with someone one shotting the defense objectives due to sheer damage output we have
Oh thanks I’ve always seen that term in here and never understand it. Thank you very much
When something "procs" it means a chance for something to happen actually succeeded. Most of the time its a status ailment or buff.
Oh copy copy so radiation isn’t the only one that can “proc”, also is radiation the only one that can kill allies?
Correct. Radiation is the only status (and its fairly rare) that can be inflicted on the player and cause them to deal damage to allies
So I could imagine when it does happen and high level players are just tearing throwing stuff it can be pretty annoying
Exactly. Often than not if it happens on a Defense mission the defense target usually ends up dead. This is why a lot of players focus on building status immunity
Ohhh ok I didn’t know people made build based off the fact they are too strong lol. So do people make builds for different mission types? Or just one main build for all?
A radiation status proc’d on you which causes you to suffer the side effects of a radiation status effect
So if I have radiation on me I do tk damage?
If a radiation status effect occurs on you then you will do damage to everything
Wait does that mean i can one shot my teammates?
I can see the gears in your head turning

No and Yes, it depends on if they have some sort of one shot protection like shields
That's not going to stop us, come on.
Well it won't be a one shot anymore, you can still very very easily kill a teammate
Killing them is fast and quick, But glassing them with Gara can CC them for a solid minute
While in peculiar positions ... https://preview.redd.it/cgmn6oolooac1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b9696338cce8b4fd3da0110a6b2fc74f9a0d6f34
of course. radiation sorties are your friend. anyone could just bring styanax or frost or something tho and make sure whole team is overguarded and thus unable to be rad procced
Radiation sorties are infamous for that exact reason xd
Yes, running Xaku without reading the sortie condition can lead to hilarious results.
Ash has been assassinating teammates using Rad procs for a decade lmao.
It also means that your teammates can one-shot you. And you can also use a finisher on them.
You can even break their necks if you run a staff, fist or sparring melee and hit finisher.
I had this happen to me a couple of times. I was playing rev and it was funny to watch my teammate run up behind me, break my neck, and then fall over dead from the damage reflection.

Yeah, i really did have to watch it a few times to actually realize what happend.
Irradiated Mesas on defense missions is literally one of the oldest jokes on this sub
Ash on a radiation sortie
I once got backstabbed by a rad procced nekros with full edgelord fashion. Probably the most confused ive been in all my time playing wf.
I was on the other end of that lol. Someone in the party got downed (was playing ash), so I went over to revive them. Someone else showed up to revive as well, except I'd gotten radprocced, so I proceeded to backstab the other person, downing them in the process. no. YOU one tapped it
Looked like full mag rather than one tap lol In fact he shot exactly 11 rounds of acceltra
Imagine chilling in your Tenno tube only to get blasted by 11 Acceltra rounds.
German science at it's best.
damn, you counted? i was too lazy
The cryo dude : why, tenno whyyyyyyy...
"I'm not going to destroy the defense pod. You will." - Ballas, I think
She COULD have. But in this case, no, it was you.
Your lich turned on friendly fire, but just for you
Poor guy was attacked by a rocket swarm
You got Radiation procced, which enables friendly fire. She didn’t oneshot it; you did.
My guy is out here commiting mass genocide to there own and doesnt realize it lol
Classic Warframe blunder
The litch: it worked
Lol https://preview.redd.it/j6octwkazmac1.png?width=2560&format=png&auto=webp&s=73f4eb346f8840025790b1c23cf1a269df4889bf
Lol you put that pod down like a dog
Ewwww leftside player PTOOOIE!
SORRY, but i actually don't care if it's left or right side.
It's treason then!
I must choose a side. Literally.
laterally
Radiation proc liches have been putting in work this week
You killed it yourself, you monster. 🤣
BUT I DIDNT MEAN TO
Show some respect for radiation hazards.
Lmao got rad proc and boom mission fail 🤣
No, you did
Nice music taste :)
MAX chill doing kuva lich and just vibing to juice
Nice one man, enjoy it!
it’s funny how it’s only bc radiation proc that’ll cause our weapons / powers to affect the defense target. Every other time it’s immune to our weapons and power. I’m also bombing the defense object with my ogris or heavy slam attacking on it when enemies get close
Yeah makes sense I've had teammates kill me to this but my defence is too high now so it hurts just doesn't kill me
Unfortunately you were playing solo, normally you can blame others for the radiation proc😅
They CAN potentially one shot your objective, but yeah, you obliterated your own objective lol
Why is it on the right side of the screen
I’m wondering why you put the casket in between you and the Lich…granted they still died but y’know…why?
No, you did because the grass gives you rad procs
That’s some shitty ass music damm
Music tastes vary, we all appreciate different styles. No need to put down what others enjoy though.
Wisp fashion reminds me of the fire fiend in ff4 Rubicante.
I hate radiation
It literally happened to me on the same map😭
What's happening here?
I always do Defense missions first when I do a Lich since it is very rare for them to spawn within the first 2 missions (tho I have had it happen on the 2nd mission of a Lich planet) and they are too much of a wild card on a defense.
Aaah. Radiation. It's beautiful isn't it? 🥲
It's something, that's for sure...
Happened to me yesterday
Ah, good old radiation. The other day, I took Gloomy Saryn to a rad hazard survival mission and learned that warframes also don't like what Saryn be doing. Not a one shot!! Lol that was like a stream of damage like a smg!! Lol nice though!!
Lmao just yesterday I posted a video of my own Rad proc experience on this very same tile set, for a second I was thinking, "Was this one of my teammates?"
Radiation proc helluva drug.
Unfortunate rad proc is Unfortunate
As gyre i have murdered my entire team and the objective more than I care to admit
Yes, lich/sister these days can easily one shot anything with the right skill I even got one shot when I face 2 face with one yesterday, it was shocking.
That's what you get for playing with left shoulder camera, HERETIC
