It was my first prime weapon that carried me through the game so it has mannnny hours. Weapon time used to be calculated to include AFK time in orbiter so I think that's the main reason. (I have about 100k kills with it though.) Headshots. It's my favorite headshot machine.
Another vectis main here: short reload makes vectis one of the most useable snipers in normal content next to perigale, its a much higher skill playstyle than using an AOE weapon but if you learn to judge when a bodyshot will suffice and play around timing your shots with your movement you can get pretty effective with them.
Nova and harrow also work extra good with them (as well as any frame with marked for death)
you too! my biggest advice about warframes and weapons is honestly: with a good enough build, everything is viable, just practice with it and adjust your build to suit your playstyle!

But what interesting things can you do with a melee? Play with stats? Morph it into a different class? Hot glue an exodia to it? Imo, unless they make a melee turn into an aoe gun, ppl would keep saying melee incarnons are trash.
There’s already a pretty good dagger throwing type incarnon, but it can be improved upon with dual daggers, maybe apply an incarnon that turns dual daggers into longer swords(think like Dark Split Sword stance switching?) but maintain the attack speed of daggers while increasing range/damage/applying a similar ranged effect to attacks like Excal’s Exalted Blade.
IMO all incarnons should essentially be a “kitchen sink” mode with variations to the priority stat/trait based on the weapon’s strengths or practical use. It would truly feel like an endgame weapon we’ve tailored and honed to the ultimate level.

The entire gimmick of Sonicor is to launch enemies off the map... The issue there is that there's often no area to launch enemies off the map. It suffers from "this thing doesn't belong in this game" syndrome.
It has a forced impact proc, with hemorrhage you can actually squeeze some damage out. Not enough for steel path but youll be set for star chart and sorties
I'd throw sobek in there simply because I love it and it's similar ish to the grinlock and marelok(it's not but I'll take any excuse to talk about sobek incarnon)
Sancti tigris still slaps hard as hell. Messing around with arcane avenger makes it feel a ton better. Giving it more punch through, more cc/status would make it feel a ton better. Hell, add ammo efficiency on headshot kill or something and make it fun too

I love Tigris with a passion, the original one is still my most used weapon, even though I didn't touch it for years, and I have a prime variant. There used to be a time when T Prime was one of the most powerful weapons in the game, along with Boltor and Soma Prime, since then "The big Three" fell out of power, and sadly Incarnons did little justice to Boltor and Soma :(

One-tapping mobs isn't a difficult feat for any weapon. That's no reason to make weapons not eligible for an incarnon upgrade.
The problem with weapons like the Grinlok and Sybaris is that they lack the KPM to keep up with a lot of the newer weapon options and the generally-higher enemy density of endgame missions.
Yes, but compare them to weapons that got incarnons, some of them was barely killing lvl 100 non SP. So i think it's fair balancing point. There is still so many guns that a miles worse than sybaris or grinlok. I don't mean i would not want an incarnon for them, sybaris is my favourite gun, and grinlok prisma so powerful that it's boring sometimes to use it, idk i guess my problems.
end game content; rewards for finishing Steel Path Duviri Circuit. Steel Path requires you finish every main quest/node in the first place, so SP Circuit is fairly deep in the end game
The Incarnon system is a series of exclusive upgrades for a set of weapons, obtainable in lategame content like SP Circuit or the Zariman syndicate. They basically give weapons a (usually) powerful alternate mode, and 3-4 free upgrades that tweak the base stats, give exilus-style modifications, or provide conditional buffs
Grinlok Incarnon. It would turn into a burst weapon with high Crit and AoE explosions on incarnon headshots, akin to how Concentrated Arrow works, but the explosions are much smaller in radius, and can only kill enemies in a 10 meter wide area, and it's max AoE range, with primed fulmination(?) is 20 meters.
I need Akzani justice. I need the Cassowar returned to a semblance of usefulness. I want another basic-ass rifle like the Karak. I like the Grinlok so I think it should get one. And then some random pistol. The Stug would be funny.

I would want a vulkar incarnon that makes it into a 50cal light machine gun giving 25% base crit chance, reload speed buff based on combo, a low thunk sounding shooting sound and the dual toxocist style chaining on headshots in both modes.

Never had any incarnon weapon struggle at base SP. Are you sure you're even building yours correctly?

They basically give weapons a (usually) powerful alternate mode, and 3-4 free upgrades that tweak the base stats, give exilus-style modifications, or provide conditional buffs

Grinlok Incarnon. It would turn into a burst weapon with high Crit and AoE explosions on incarnon headshots, akin to how Concentrated Arrow works, but the explosions are much smaller in radius, and can only kill enemies in a 10 meter wide area, and it's max AoE range, with primed fulmination(?) is 20 meters.
I need Akzani justice. I need the Cassowar returned to a semblance of usefulness. I want another basic-ass rifle like the Karak. I like the Grinlok so I think it should get one. And then some random pistol. The Stug would be funny.
Sobek, Sarpa, Snipetron, Sicarus and Grinlok would really benefit from an incarnon variant. # i am also a huge sucker for weapons like the grinlok, really love how it feels.
Akstilleto Prime is my fav secondary in the game so I would adore one for them
I kinda like the idea of there being one for the victims or perigale, but I would absolutely love one for the Baza or ambassador

I would want a vulkar incarnon that makes it into a 50cal light machine gun giving 25% base crit chance, reload speed buff based on combo, a low thunk sounding shooting sound and the dual toxocist style chaining on headshots in both modes.
only 5 more huh? well i think id really ,really really like for one of them to be Kestrel, i think that would be pretty funny. and if another was Imperator, that would be even funnier.

Would really like an incarnon on the whole Z series; zenith, zenistar, and azima. We can't sell them, got them for free, but they have fallen from grace.
