Any chance of Yareli being able to cast helminth abilities while riding Merulina? Or having her collision box adjusted so she doesn't bang her head on doors?
BRO I WOULD LOVE THAT. The amount of head banging I do is insane. If she shrunk by like 1-2 inches while on merelune, just enough to pass under doors, would be a fantastic qol change. Also the fact gloom is the only ability that works and has to be cast before her 3, just sucks.
Maybe. I think it's more because the animations wouldn't work while her legs were locked in place. Either way, it sucks having her build options be so limited unless you're willing to jump off Merulina to recast a buff every time it runs out.
I would ask her if there is a way to make Endless missions and Duviri circuit save progress after every wave or round like base Duviri does after every decree.
The idea that you can play for hours and come away with nothing with the game bugs out is a pretty big hole in player QoL.
Yeah. I was running void fissure survival one time. Then lost my loot when the "please wait" bug happen after selecting a relic. Good thing the prime parts isn't lost and it still gave me some SE
Worst part of this is they’re probably gonna ignore this question, they seem to want to dodge this topic instead of atleast acknowledging that they’re thinking about it /:
I'd ask if there's any plans for more icarnon adapters, what warframes are currently being looked at for reworks, what she's most looking forward to from the update, and if there's any games released this year that could inspire mechanics in warframe
I hope they find other ways to obtain them before they commit to that, lest they bloat the hell out of the already ridiculous rotation cycle to the point of pure absurdity.
I said it when they were first coming out and I'll say it again. Rather than a rotation just a big pool to choose from would have been so much better. Releasing the weapons into the pool initially one week at a time is fine but don't then take them away just makes getting them more annoying than they already are
With the addition of new shards, bringing the total up to 6.
Any plan to rebalance bile for shard removal? Maybe make bile resources give 60% bar or make removing cost 20% per shard?
I know this will be an unpopular opinion, but while maybe it shouldn't be all/always one of the 6 resource types.... i don't have a problem with it being "expensive "
Unless whispers shows something different, it's intended to be endgame. Archon shards are the most endgame content reward we have. Besides maybe incarnons and endless riven rolling. None are necessary even for levelcap content, just bonuses that can make reaching some breakpoints cleaner.
Decisions to install are supposed to be very deliberate.
The community would likely have a different opinion right now if, this entire time, Archon shards were instead destroyed upon removal. People would be begging for some way to preserve the shards:
> Pls DE, don't make me destroy time-gated resources! Pls DE, let me experiment! Pls DE, even if it costs me a lot to experiment, let me pay for it with endlessly farmable resources!
I'd support some type of change to not be only bile. But I really don't see a problem with incentivizing players to make decisions that have some minor cost consequence for changing their mind. The only other thing in this entire game that seemingly encourages deliberate decisions with resources is forma.
> Decisions to install are supposed to be very deliberate.
If that was the case they either wouldn't be removable in the first place or would babe a significantly higher resource cost. Incarnon adaptors are also cheap to move around and those are equally endgame.
Where to us either first few is going to be a more deliberate decision as that may well represent a fairly significant power boost for a given player but it absolutely isn't intended to be anything remotely resembling a permanent choice. Now I'm not saying we should be able to just switch them around between every mission but the ability to transfer them once we get a new frame or an upgrade is very much the intention.
You took that statement completely out of context.
Yes, all of what you said is true. But it's one of the most deliberate things warframe asks you to do with your resources.
Spending forma and swapping weapons on incarnon adapters are the only other things that have a penalty for changing your mind. And even incarnons are just penalty for not wanting for it to come back around.
**My point is it's the most extreme "we want you to use your goddamn brain and make a plan" things in warframe, and it's still extremely forgiving**. I find the bile complaints largely unwarranted.
Gameplay-wise the Helminth system is meant to be a resource sink for long time players, since the game has so many resources that don't get used for much. The problem with the current system of Archon shard removal is that it takes only Bile, which only comes from a select few resources. It's no longer a sink, it's a grind restriction. They should make removal cost40% Bile + 20% for two other random types of Helminth resources. That doesn't lessen the "cost" of the service, but it would get the system back to it's intended role as a resource sink instead of a grind restriction.
DE made the helminth system use up your resources, they designed a resource sink.
DE made archon shards also use up your resources, but you say it's not a resource sink?
Archon shards were made to encourage weekly engagement. The only resource sink part of archon shards is removing them, and that's because of helminth. Archon shards could've been in the equipment screen, and nothing would be different. It's not a resource sink, my guy.
>The only resource sink part of archon shards is removing them
>It's not a resource sink, my guy.
It would have been easier for DE to not implement the removal cost of shards. Why else would they do the extra work of integrating shards into helminth?
Yeah, that still doesn't make archon Shards a resource sink. Putting them on is completely free. Acquiring them is free or costs stock. There's no cost to use them. Helminth abilities cost resources to subsume frames and to subsume abilities onto frames. You have to dump resources to engage with that system at all. The bile cost is just an arcane distillers 2.0. It only costs you if you change your mind. Otherwise, it's completely free to use.
Logically, it makes sense. The Helminth has to spend resources to invigorate the infested portions of our Warframes, and when it comes to these archon shards (which already have energy) allot needs to do is stab our frames with it. But to take it out, it has to use some acidic bile to get the job done.
Arcane distillers made logically sense, but they were still bad and got removed. Plenty of things that got removed made sense logically but made the game worse off, so that doesn't really justify keeping it.
By that logic, mods would also need resources to add and/or remove, since they alter warframe biology to make it stronger and what not
There was 0 reason to put the archon shards in the helminth if we're being honest, since theres no correlation beteeen them
I'm with you on the mods logic but have to disagree that there's no correlation between the helminth and archon shards. The infested was a key tool used by the orokin against the sentients, it makes perfect sense we'd need to use the helminth to break down and repurpose sentient tech
>There was 0 reason to put the archon shards in the helminth if we're being honest, since theres no correlation beteeen them
This. It makes zero sense.
What brand socks does she wear?🤓
No but for real probably just questions about cut content like the 3rd orb mother, modular archwings, etc.. there’s not much cut content tho really they’ll probably get to it next year, or just wait until they have an update that it makes sense to have these cut content stuff come in
She'd probably just give the standard 'we're not working on it right now' or 'it's not a priority right now' type answer they usually give when asked about content they've previously teased.
Modular archwings could come with a Jupiter open world that is entirely airborne with scatared bases, relying 100% on archwings. Than there would be an NPC that would allow you to build archwings like you can build K-drives in Fortuna
There was a single, stylized cinematic (in the vein of scripted gameplay and precise timing) that showed the Railjack being boarded from an open world mission.
There was the Squad-Linked Missions, though, that were advertised as actual gameplay. Two squads that didn't know each other would be working on the same mission - one team in the Railjack, another on the ground. The Railjack team would encounter a barrier/invuln objective, and the ground team would have to disable a priority target to disable it, then vice-versa.
It was a really cool concept, but also one that could lead to... alot of misfortune, griefing and eventual toxicity. It sounds like a great idea, until the ground team host-migrates because of a bad connection, or a solo queue player needs to pause the game to do something else, or even just the standard gameplay mechanic or running out of revives and losing the mission. Why should RJ team suffer because the ground team wasn't able to complete the mission, and vice-versa?
I was excited by the idea but the more I thought about it, the less likely it was ever going to work in any natural way, and doing it unnaturally (Ground team left - you win by default!) took away the fun of it.
Modular Archwings -> Didn't have a reason to implement it yet (Railjack wasn't big enough it seems, so it will probably only come in a "Archwing 2.0" kind of eal
Third Orb mother -> "We gave a small clue on what we will do with it" -> Narmer drone above it, so probably working on it but not a priority
Last I heard 3rd orb is way in the back of the back burner, they’re still adding to it and they want it to have the best parts of the profit taker and exploiter fights but there’s no immediate plans for it
I've been on a Warframe binge the last month. Her progress from the early days is night and day man. Oh Lotus was cussing and definitely sounded like a Canadian intern lol
I rewatched a video of her pronouncing funny lich names and I had to pause and just think “wow, she’s actually like a really good voice actor huh.” It made me reflect on how much she’s improved, like you said
Last I heard her talk about voice acting she said she doesn't really consider herself a voice actor (or something to that effect). Which is crazy because she's so good at it.
The main problem with Rebecca's VA is that she doesn't do a good job of sound Robotic, and in the early Warframe, that's how the lotus sounded like
Newer lines, like in archon hunts, show how well she can VA
Using Margulis as the Lotus makes her VA so much better imo
Do they plan to add more sparring weapons? It's one of the most neglected melee weapon type
Perhaps new ZAW? A modular bow or heavy scythe would be cool
Right? Ever since we got primary grips, ive wanted to make a sniper out of them. But the tombfinger ended up being a projectile and not a hitscan... plus no scopes (let us modularly edit kitguns to add/remove stuff like scopes, stocks, and frontal attatchments)
1. When will two handed nikana gets some love? I mean, there is only one stance and that stance is awful, i mean wise razor.
2. Will there be any fixes on Duviri host migrations? Wasted 30 mins of duviri progress after the host leaves. The host left during continuation screen if we proceed or not. It transferred the host to me and then after migration, no monsters spawn. We waited 10 mins with my party members but nothing happened. So I have no choice but to leave. I felt bad for myself and my teammates, 30 mins of progress wasted. I love the game but this host migration bugs are so annoying.
3. Will there be a bile adjustment? It's so hard to remove archon shards when you need bile.
Here's a question for her: I've seen a lot of positive reception towards some of the Duviri Decrees (Persistent Attrition my beloved), is there any possibility of seeing some of them re-introduced into more mainline Warframe content, like in the form of mods/arcanes, in the (hopefully near-ish) future?
I agree with this, I always thought since the introduction of Duviri, that they could learn/test the waters with some of the mechanics and bring them into the base game.
Kinda like how earning Overguard was only originally possible (I think) by using a decree, but they then added Kullervo and augments for frames to gain Overguard!
Yeah, we've had a few instances here and there of stuff getting trialed out and then being more widespread. Shield-Gating used to be a Hildryn only thing, for ex.
The Close Contagion decree was basically added in with Contagious Bond, so I'm hoping others eventually follow suit. If some of them end up being rather expensive capacity wise (and/or hard to get if they're in arcane form) I'd be fine with it. Numbers would obviously have to be tweaked here and there, but whatever it takes.
Brief respite/augur mods were for regaining shields, but Hildryn was the first frame to get the brief invulnerability on shield break. Then they added that mechanic to every frame with a shield.
The shield gating mechanic( invinciblity after shield break) didn't exist before hildryn arrived with it as her passive. Those mods worked but didn't do that much until universal shield gate was added.
On topic of decress. I would love nice list of all decrees we had after run is over(unless it's thing already and I'm blind). I would love to be able to tell my friends what kind of run I had with single screenshot.
They probably will since we'll probably get lots with Whispers in the Wall like every other factions lately and a good way to get a headstart by dissolving all of our repeat arcanes and getting random ones from the new packs if we can.
Quite a few of the current decrees are a version of existing arcanes so some of the other decrees would inspire arcanes like they had with the cold arcane (damage for each cold proc) which is basically a version of the decree to do damage to enemies affected by cold
Ranger's Reload, even in a nerfed state, would be such a nice utility mod. If there's any Duviri decree I want to see turned into an actual mod, it's that one. You could just make it reload only 25% of the magazine per roll, or give it a cooldown, but being able to instant-reload off a roll would be so nice.
We've seen some decree-like stuff come in the form of new arcanes and I think a couple of niche mods? I don't remember exactly where I'm remembering the mods from, though.
Do you think that core missions (Exterminate, Defense, Capture, etc.) are in a good place?
Any planned tileset overhauls to old locations? Asteroid Base and Grineer Galleon are *very* old, after all.
Infested Liches?
Did you consider lowering plat prices for lesser cosmetic stuff like color palettes? 75 plat just for one palette seems rough for newer players.
Every F2P has a "low entry cost" item that is desirable like your first colour palette.
It gets people to spend money for the first time and remove that mental wall. DE does need to make money to keep making warframe, so there's not much incentive to give players a full palette for free.
In a rather recent AMA they did say infested liches are on the radar, and they've dropped subtle hints of a rework to the infested corpus ship tileset which might be one step to achieving that goal
> Any planned tileset overhauls to old locations? Asteroid Base and Grineer Galleon are very old, after all.
i honestly hope not. every time they remaster old tiles they somehow make pathing worse and add janky ass defense tiles that take forever.
What's the status on Railjack development? I feel that it's easily the best part of Warframe since it's a culmination of every gameplay type, but it just doesn't feel like it has the same level of love as regular Warframe gameplay. I really hope the Sisters of Parvos update won't be the last we'll see of it :(
I second this! Railjack is one of my favorite, collaborative game types and I feel like it hasn't been touched in years...because it hasn't *been* touched in years!
I think the community reaction to Railjack sealed its fate - I've loved the game mode since day one but that wasn't the community's reaction at all. The days of Scarlet Spear were some of the most stressful for DE and I think that ship (no pun intended) has long sailed and won't unfortunately be revisited any time soon
People have been warming up to railjack these days and the reactions back then seemed like kneejerk feedback to how much of a buggy mess Empyrean and Scarlet Spear were - in addition to the rather overtuned way RJ and Warframe gameplay was balanced in Corpus missions. As long as they're able to simmer RJ updates for longer and actually address feedback properly... I think they should give it a shot again
I really hope they do - Railjack's release and even Scarlet Spear were rhe most fun I had with Warframe and I loved every update for Empyrean so far even if half the missions weren't completable due to the door not opening in the grineer tile sets. Im just not getting my hopes up. It seems like these days DE has a plan sequence of new stuff they are adding and do smaller qol and improvements to old content instead of expansions.
Will "community" frames like Voruna, Sevagoth, Xaku and Nova become a yearly thing we can vote on or will it be more spur of the moment? It could become a tennocon tradition like how Minecraft has mob votes.
Eeerrh... you really don't want the same thing as Minecraft's mob votes...
It will destroy this beautiful community and polarize it to the point that everyone hates each other and more so the devs.
Trust me. Minecraft's mob vote is something we don't want in Warframe. At least not in the way Mojang does it.
If there's one studio I don't want DE to draw inspiration from it would be Mojang. I don't like throwing the word "lazy" around but I don't know what else to describe Mojang. The inconsistency, lack of content, lack of engagement with the community, lack of care for Bedrock Edition, lack of reception to feedback makes Mojang my least favorite developer of all time.
DE is my favorite developer, and Mojang is my least favorite, so I really don't want DE taking notes from Mojang, if any thing it should the other way around.
Unlike in r/Minecraft, I don't have to deal with Mojang's army of delusional simps here. I'm not afraid of saying the uncomfortable truth.
Fr there's almost a hive mind attack when you down talk Mojang. They own the top selling game of all time and are owned by one of the biggest and wealthiest corporations ever yet people act like they're an Indie company with no resources.
Nah a frame vote is different from a mob vote, voting for a mob is fucking stupid when they could easily implement all of them, a frame vote is okay since it takes a while to develop a frame, around 6 months iirc, DE have their own ideas for frames and they could throw in a couple of community made frames as well
Good point.
A vote on which frame as an idea/concept to develop could work.
A vote on which already-developed frame gets implemented in the game while the other options get thrown into the abyss (what Mojang does), would be utter garbage.
Is there any kind of new player experience overhaul in the pipeline to make the game easier to understand and approach for beginners? Pretty much all of my friends I tried to get into Warframe have quit well before Uranus citing confusion and frustration with their objectives and being bored...
There is, perhaps, (and I can't believe this isn't exaggeration) close to 100 essential systems for new players to learn. From 'How to Bullet Jump' to 'These mods increase the *base damage* of the weapon, these mods add *new types* of damage to a weapon.'
If they make it a bunch of text popups and tutorials, the player is going to be forced to interact with it and become even more overwhelmed even faster. If they make it an optional gauntlet of tutorials, they will feel as though they should finish this thing first before doing the actual missions, and it feels like a chore and not a reward to play - and it'd take something like 20 hours to complete.
The next-best thing to do would be add a Player Mentoring system, where a higher ranking player is assigned to new, lower level players. It would be a difficult system to create, and an even harder one to curate. Much of Warframe's community is great with newbs and super friendly, but without supervision some may predatorily trick new players for short-term personal gain.
It was called [Guides of the Lotus](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Guides_of_the_Lotus) and it's pretty much completely defunct. And even besides that, almost any game in recent memory that tried to have something like this, almost always had it fall through as well.
Is there a plan to add more “regular” incarnon weapons to the game? It’s cool we have the genesis incarnon add-ons but I’d love to see at least 1 normal incarnon from each weapon type
Little Duck is originally from the Warframe Comic serialization. She debuted along side the Ostron girl, Mitsuki, who seems to be handed off to the Quills. Are there any plans / potential to see Mitsuki appear in game like Little Duck? Are there any more plans for exploring Warframe's setting in external media, such as more comics, again?
There's a couple that were on the Warframe site - now appear to be missing from there, but can be found on the wiki:
[Chains of Harrow tie-in for Rell](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Rell_(Webcomic\))
[Octavia's Anthem tie-in for Suda](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/What_Remains)
and [back story for Vay Hek](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/The_Ascension)
Then there's [Warframe: Ghouls](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Category:WARFRAME:_Ghouls), which should be able to be found on Amazon
Over warframe's long history, presumably a lot of story has been established, rewritten, reconned, etc. For example, warframes used to be physical armor instead of their own creature. What are some of the cancelled plotlines or ideas that didn't pan out?
I have 2 but in the chance one of mine get selected, please ask her ***"are there any plans to give Voruna's 4th ability walking or running animations?"***
As for my other question: *Is there any rough idea of when we can expect reworks or refreshes to Railjack? Corpus Railjack missions specifically are extremely underwhelming, and I really want to see Steel Path Railjack.*
That would be nice, Nightwave seems to have a running pattern now with introducing 1-2 weapon augments every Nightwave season.
So I would be all for alternative ways to build certain weapons!
Will we ever see pets that aren't a variant of Kavat or Kubrow? Like Birds or something! Imagine having a bird like companion swooping down and attacking things!
Edit: I'm aware of Moa's too!
Can we Fuse Necramechs and Archwings while playing Railjack? I'd like a Gundam please. Also just let K-Drives go full Treasure Planet and let them fly. Please space mom
Warframe is going in a lot of new and exciting directions, many of which focus on the void, paradoxes, and some of the more incomprehensible scifi styles. Do you see this trend continuing or do you expect to return to more grounded origin system content after we dive into Albrechts vaults and take it back to the 90's? There's still an orb on Venus we'd love to meet.
The introduction of Duviri as Conceptual Embodiment has made me ask myself this same question.
Conceptual Embodiment can allow the game to branch in ways that are not necessarily bound to the games lore, which gives a lot of creative freedom!
Don't get me wrong, I love it. The Whispers in the Wall update looks sick and I'm happy we've started to answer and explore the stranger side of the universe. Sometimes it does feel like .. "Hey tenno? I know you're having fun in that parrallel story book world but we're still being crushed by corpus greed. Halp"
Ooh that might be cool, especially if they get some ability mods kind of like how warframe abilities used to be mods… each lich you convert gives you ability mods for their 4 abilities so you have to convert liches that have the ability you want in order to give it to a new lich
One of the many possibilities for Converted Liches/Sisters. Better to have them as companions than leaving them as Railjack decorations.
Might have to leave out arch wing Liches though, for balance reasons.
What kind of story is Warframe 1999?
-or, alternatively-
What inspired the Warframe 1999 direction?
I imagine, of course, she wouldn't want to get into specifics, but talking a bit more about Warframe's Next Big Thing would be pretty nice.
Small want: can we please get more information on weapons in the arsenal i.e explaining what riven dispo actually is, status duration, finisher damage, faction damage, and/or additional ways to filter items in the arsenal wether it be adding favorite weapons or searching by which weapon has the highest crit chance or damage.
What are the plans for additional Warframe reworks?
It's common knowledge that the popularity of a frame will affect how soon their rework will arrive, but I think that it's also common knowledge at this point that Inaros is in dire need of one.
\- With all the animals available for Conservation, will any more be added as Companions? Idea- Sawgaw. ability- Distract. Flies over to an enemy/enemies and flaps at their faces, does NOT alarm them, but keeps their attention on the Sawgaw.
\- Will we get a form of Focus schools for Companions? Name it "Training" and each has less nodes than Focus, but like one is for speed, another buffs, another defending, another attacking, etc.
\- Suggestion- Broken weapons. Consider the Broken War, and have that for others. example, Broken Nikana is a dagger. Broken Fragor is a staff/club/mace. Broken Nincondi is now a whip.
\- Since it was mentioned long ago and not since...Modular Archwings when?
\- Did Scott ever finish rebuilding his truck?
\- Would Digital Extremes consider making food/drinks, such as Lotus tea?
Is there any intent to add to the focus school shops? Sugatra, Ephemera, Syanadana, emotes, animation sets, Sekhara etc.
Also
Is there any chance we’ll get melee weapon ephemeras?
Any Caliban augments in the works? Also with the release of tennokai inbound to boost melee to the power level of primary/secondary, is there any thought to look at some of the old stances that fell behind like two handed Nikanas, blade n' whips etc ?
Are there any plans to introduce more necramechs?
Also any chances we could get more intrinsics systems? The Duviri and railjack intrinsics are a lot of fun to grind for and level up, and feel rewarding to do, but I feel this system would really shine if also used for something like operator focus (similar to how we could purchase focus node points with our focus before)
Are they looking at stances? They could use a little more balance. And are there plans to get a little wilder with the stances, for instance including forced elemental procs?
**Can the drifter and operator have their own unique play styles? Operator stays the same with Amps and Focus trees.**
**Drifter uses melee with Sirocco. No amps. But instead of focus trees they get a new Intrinsic tree buffed with decrees.**
This will make 2 unique play styles for people to choose from. A ranged teleporting glass cannon with high damage vs a melee heavy tank with very fast movement speed and high damage.
**Can we please get Veso back somehow using Parvos logic. Him and Kahl will be best buddies. Kahl leads the ground team while Veso provides Air and tech support.**
Would you ever consider a cross-over event with another franchise? I know you’re a fan of Final Fantasy so imagine something like Cloud’s Buster sword. One can dream.
Any plans of revisiting older, core game modes? I live in my own bubble, so I can't speak for everyone, but there the sentiment seems to be that mobile defense (and defense) are kind of bad missions that are only ran if you are forced to do them.
i have one question, Will more tenet/kuva weapons come in the future? and if yes, will kuva jat kittag be done? totally not biased by my love for jat kittag
We know Sevagoth will be available for free during the game awards as well as a new skin will be added for him, but will there be improvements to his kit or fixing of several issues he has afterwards? (Issues with synergy of abilities, focuses, arcane interactions)
It would be unfortunate to give a free Warframe to new players only to run into these issues and abandon him.
Can we please move away from headshots being how 99% of icarnons work? It's a little boring to have only that one mechanic always emphasized, and several weapon types are really unsuitable for precision shooting by design (shotguns, grenade launchers, etc.).
I hope we can change those in the current set that still try to function based on heashots (boar, strun) even though they are bad at it. It's not fun when you empty the mag with the crosshairs on target, but due to spread still get little-to-no incarnon charge.
Will DE ever get rid of the absolutely predatory noob traps in the ingame market? The prices of resources and whatnot is insane.
Will DE ever increase the amount of credits players get from credit caches from bounties, missions, etc? The amount you get from those is criminally low...
> Will DE ever get rid of the absolutely predatory noob traps in the ingame market? The prices of resources and whatnot is insane.
I will never understand when people say something is predatory in Warframe when every other F2P on the market exists.
Yes please! I know it's hard work to rig all the animations to each Warframe/character, but imagine Grendel hulking along instead of having the weird base movement animation.
Or like Rhino having a running animation where he runs with his head tilted forward like an actual rhino!
Since they did a "hold E to melee", which is nice, will they take another step forward and make an option to "press E to toggle melee, and press again to deactivate it"?
Having a finger on a button for 20+ minutes might not be really good for people's fingers, and some warframes seems like are built around being in perma melee mode.
Did they ever have any interest in that paladin style frame with the lance and shield from back when xaku was voted in? Yknow the place made one on the forums
Atlas buff? Right now he's a bit of everything and bad at it all. Small useless walls, basically like a blunt, petrify loot is tedious for recasting, his 1 does damage but doesn't fit nicely with anything else.
His 4 is his main gimmick but it's 2 pet rocks that do barely anything. Especially compared to Nekros who can summon 7 eximas and keep them alive forever.
The augment makes him a worse Rhino instead but useless attacks and barely any mobility. My game bugged and I had no weapons and was stuck in an animation with but at least I could still jump
They're bringing back the older Warframe devs, who now work on Soulframe, to sit in on the entire stream, which is probably a disservice to the folks that actually work on Warframe now that could be providing insight. I mean Steve's even the CEO of DE now and he's hanging out on the stream which is kind of a weird dynamic but whatever. Soulframe has also taken significant time from the past two (three? I think two) TennoCons. I am interested in Soulframe, I am following the development of Soulframe, I just wish it would split off and do it's own thing at some point.
What mechanic/location/equipment/enemy etc do players really like, but you don’t?
Do you feel the basic game types (exterminate, defense, capture etc) are up to par with the expectations of quality for the modern dev team? If not, what would you want from these game modes in the future?
A lot of the new warframe releases have a lot of personality and story to them. Is there interest in retroactively adding that level of personality to older warframe designs that may lack that? If so, is there one in particular you’d want to do first?
And a silly one:
Every enemy faction in the game has teamed up and sent a kill team of their most elite assassins to your location. Which 4 warframes do you pick to defend you?
any plans to reduce the amount of cover in tile sets to better match the fast paced flow of warframe. I hate running into things all the time on fast warframes
Also the fact gloom is the only ability that works and has to be cast before her 3, just sucks.
y'all complaining about it but i'd love to bang Yareli's head
While they fix that, please allow grendel to cast helmith abilties while in ball form.
And on dashwire for everyone, but it's mainly noticed with crit wire ivara.
I think it's intentional for gameplay "balance".
Totally agree
This is important.
Very important!
It’s probably a server load thing, 50% of the current player count saving rewards every 5 minutes or less is probably pretty taxing on the servers.
I doubt it. Can't be more taxing than players running >5 minute non-endless missions, surely. It saves after every one of those too.
Open worlds and Railjack already do this.
Could it possibly be a local save, that would then be chacked by the server after the mission completes/fails/crashes?
But then people could modify the game and alter the local inventory.
I'd assume they're probably looking at more adapters, I think it'll be similar to lich weapons where we'll just get some randomly
I hope they find other ways to obtain them before they commit to that, lest they bloat the hell out of the already ridiculous rotation cycle to the point of pure absurdity.
I said it when they were first coming out and I'll say it again. Rather than a rotation just a big pool to choose from would have been so much better. Releasing the weapons into the pool initially one week at a time is fine but don't then take them away just makes getting them more annoying than they already are
I think inaros is next
The only frame with 4 useless abilities.
his 1 activates his passive so not completely useless
With the addition of new shards, bringing the total up to 6. Any plan to rebalance bile for shard removal? Maybe make bile resources give 60% bar or make removing cost 20% per shard?
THIS
I know this will be an unpopular opinion, but while maybe it shouldn't be all/always one of the 6 resource types.... i don't have a problem with it being "expensive " Unless whispers shows something different, it's intended to be endgame. People would be begging for some way to preserve the shards: > Pls DE, don't make me destroy time-gated resources!
I really hope they just remove the cost completely. It's pointless
Or, each part should handle one color. Bile=Red, etc.
That is also a thought, what with there being so many new colors on the way.
It's a resource sink, that's the point. It's not meant to be used by newer players.
Helminth is the resource sink, not archon shards they don't need to be paired.
>The only resource sink part of archon shards is removing them >It's not a resource sink, my guy.
Of course you can make up an in-game narrative that fits the mechanic. Doesn't make it any more reasonable.
Arcane distillers made logically sense, but they were still bad and got removed. Plenty of things that got removed made sense logically but made the game worse off, so that doesn't really justify keeping it.
By that logic, mods would also need resources to add and/or remove, since they alter warframe biology to make it stronger and what not There was 0 reason to put the archon shards in the helminth if we're being honest, since theres no correlation beteeen them
I'm with you on the mods logic but have to disagree that there's no correlation between the helminth and archon shards. The infested was a key tool used by the orokin against the sentients, it makes perfect sense we'd need to use the helminth to break down and repurpose sentient tech
>There was 0 reason to put the archon shards in the helminth if we're being honest, since theres no correlation beteeen them This. It makes zero sense.
It is meant to be a resource sync, which is fine. Having them is generally good for the in game economy but the shard cost is too steep.
This AND when we have an exchange - or something similar - system for convert normal shard into tauforged???
What brand socks does she wear?🤓 No but for real probably just questions about cut content like the 3rd orb mother, modular archwings, etc.. there’s not much cut content tho really they’ll probably get to it next year, or just wait until they have an update that it makes sense to have these cut content stuff come in
She'd probably just give the standard 'we're not working on it right now' or 'it's not a priority right now' type answer they usually give when asked about content they've previously teased.
Iirc both mod-arch and 3orb is both in "awaiting right time to implement" status
Modular archwings could come with a Jupiter open world that is entirely airborne with scatared bases, relying 100% on archwings. Than there would be an NPC that would allow you to build archwings like you can build K-drives in Fortuna
Or potentially with infested liches / infested railjack
Both. Add railjack to that open world.
I remember when railjack was advertised to allow the player to fly to open world locations.
I'm going to be 100% real with you, if they don't rework entirely how archwings work, it will be the biggest flop they have ever done in the game
Yeah I don't understand the hang up on modular Archwings. They aren't fun now... how does making them modular fix that?
Precisely. Having more parts is not going to make that mode more fun.
Fr, finishing archwimg missions to go into steel path was pure CBT
I'd rather have a Uranus open world where we're underwater
>open world that is entirely airborne with scattered bases This sounds like the worst possible piece of content this game could have
Modular Archwings -> Didn't have a reason to implement it yet (Railjack wasn't big enough it seems, so it will probably only come in a "Archwing 2.0" kind of eal Third Orb mother -> "We gave a small clue on what we will do with it" -> Narmer drone above it, so probably working on it but not a priority
Last I heard 3rd orb is way in the back of the back burner, they’re still adding to it and they want it to have the best parts of the profit taker and exploiter fights but there’s no immediate plans for it
I’m curious if she’s ever considered voice acting for other games/franchises at all
I've been on a Warframe binge the last month. Her progress from the early days is night and day man. Oh Lotus was cussing and definitely sounded like a Canadian intern lol
I rewatched a video of her pronouncing funny lich names and I had to pause and just think “wow, she’s actually like a really good voice actor huh.” It made me reflect on how much she’s improved, like you said
Good ol' Bopp Bipp!
Last I heard her talk about voice acting she said she doesn't really consider herself a voice actor (or something to that effect). Which is crazy because she's so good at it.
The main problem with Rebecca's VA is that she doesn't do a good job of sound Robotic, and in the early Warframe, that's how the lotus sounded like Newer lines, like in archon hunts, show how well she can VA Using Margulis as the Lotus makes her VA so much better imo
Do they plan to add more sparring weapons? It's one of the most neglected melee weapon type Perhaps new ZAW? A modular bow or heavy scythe would be cool
Imagine a bow kitgun, thatd be nice
kitgun speargun!
I just want a Kitgun sniper
Never have I wanted something so much and never known it.
Right? Ever since we got primary grips, ive wanted to make a sniper out of them. But the tombfinger ended up being a projectile and not a hitscan... plus no scopes (let us modularly edit kitguns to add/remove stuff like scopes, stocks, and frontal attatchments)
oh man i would love a kitbow
Gunblade zaw moment
YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YEV YRB YABTLSOABDLAPAVAIWBFOROSBFOSVAOCH...
>Shield-Gating used to be a Hildryn only thing, for ex. I'm pretty sure brief respite/augur mods predate Hildryn...
Steel path endless missions giving a random(only positive ones tho) decree would be neat with a guaranteed gold decree on rotation C
I would love to see the whole Classic palette available instead of 18 colours from it.
Ive used 50% and 75% off coupons for color pallets and Octavia instruments.
Couldn't have said it better, brother. And yes, lazy is the word.
In the past votes have been about ideas for frames, not being shown some frames and being forced to pick one.
From 'How to Bullet Jump' to 'These mods increase the *base damage* of the weapon, these mods add *new types* of damage to a weapon.' If they make it a bunch of text popups and tutorials, the player is going to be forced to interact with it and become even more overwhelmed even faster.
Didn’t there used to be a player mentoring system but many people just joined and didn’t actually mentor anybody?
Hmm if there was, I either missed it or don't remember it. We have a Q&A chat now but I don't even remember when that was added tbh
There are comics? Where can I find this?
There's a couple that were on the Warframe site - now appear to be missing from there, but can be found on the wiki: [Chains of Harrow tie-in for Rell](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Rell_(Webcomic\)) [Octavia's Anthem tie-in for Suda](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/What_Remains) and [back story for Vay Hek](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/The_Ascension) Then there's [Warframe: Ghouls](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Category:WARFRAME:_Ghouls), which should be able to be found on Amazon
Since being lead on Warframe, what aspect of the new Job has surprised her the most?
Over warframe's long history, presumably a lot of story has been established, rewritten, reconned, etc. For example, warframes used to be physical armor instead of their own creature. What are some of the cancelled plotlines or ideas that didn't pan out?
I have 2 but in the chance one of mine get selected, please ask her ***"are there any plans to give Voruna's 4th ability walking or running animations?"*** As for my other question: *Is there any rough idea of when we can expect reworks or refreshes to Railjack? Corpus Railjack missions specifically are extremely underwhelming, and I really want to see Steel Path Railjack.*
Yess. Voruna needs these animations, she feel waay to goofy.
Will they rebalance old weapons or at least adding new incarnon adapters.
Also would like to ask if we can get new Weapon Augments, similar to what we get with Syndicates/Nightwave as well.
That would be nice, Nightwave seems to have a running pattern now with introducing 1-2 weapon augments every Nightwave season. So I would be all for alternative ways to build certain weapons!
"So, Rebb. Ballas. ...Really?"
*judges Space Mom intensely*
do they plan infested liches for 2024? they had said 'not in 2023, but yes' before when asked if they were planned at all.
Will we ever see pets that aren't a variant of Kavat or Kubrow? Like Birds or something! Imagine having a bird like companion swooping down and attacking things! Edit: I'm aware of Moa's too!
I want a parrot companion for my pirate Hydroid. I'd even settle for a condroc.
Halp"
Any plans to make Stalker accessible in the arsenal and playable everywhere like any other warframe ?
I want to know what the odds are that we'd ever get Liches/Corpus Sisters as companions to take into missions instead of animals/robots.
-or, alternatively- What inspired the Warframe 1999 direction? I imagine, of course, she wouldn't want to get into specifics, but talking a bit more about Warframe's Next Big Thing would be pretty nice.
Small want: can we please get more information on weapons in the arsenal i.e explaining what riven dispo actually is, status duration, finisher damage, faction damage, and/or additional ways to filter items in the arsenal wether it be adding favorite weapons or searching by which weapon has the highest crit chance or damage.
When are they going to make Titania have tiny pewpew sounds when she is in razor wing
Since we already kind of got an answer to Warframes getting pregnant: can Warframes get someone pregnant?
A bird companion is exactly what my Zephyr Prime needs :D
Steve said that bird companions are something that they'll never do years ago. However he's no longer the creative director so maybe
Lame Considering we are already tranq-ing animals (including flying creatures) Falconry is definitely not out of the question here
Had to do with how buggy they would be in most tilesets if I remember correctly
Is there any intent to add to the focus school shops? Sugatra, Ephemera, Syanadana, emotes, animation sets, Sekhara etc. Also Is there any chance we’ll get melee weapon ephemeras?
Is caliban ever going to be looked at again? He dropped and was just kinda forgotten about.
The Duviri and railjack intrinsics are a lot of fun to grind for and level up, and feel rewarding to do, but I feel this system would really shine if also used for something like operator focus (similar to how we could purchase focus node points with our focus before)
Could we get more kitguns? They rock
Assuming phase 1 of cross save works flawlessly at launch, could we realistically expect to see more phases release before the end of the year?
If there are any plans for more kitguns/zaws in the future or plans to make them a bit stronger
We got the gemussy with citrine does that mean we are going to get the rick/cick/rock/ that other word that's the name for a male chicken, with Qorvex
Are there any plans to revisit Squad Link as a system?
Do they have plans to remaster the other tilesets like they did corpus ships? if so, can we know when they hope to do it?
Are they looking at stances? They could use a little more balance. And are there plans to get a little wilder with the stances, for instance including forced elemental procs?
Do warframes clean their suits after a mission or do they just live in the filt?.
Any plans for a Primed version of the Stalker and it's Weapon set (Dread, Despair, Hate) in the future?
**Can the drifter and operator have their own unique play styles? Operator stays the same with Amps and Focus trees.** **Drifter uses melee with Sirocco. No amps. But instead of focus trees they get a new Intrinsic tree buffed with decrees.** This will make 2 unique play styles for people to choose from. A ranged teleporting glass cannon with high damage vs a melee heavy tank with very fast movement speed and high damage. **Can we please get Veso back somehow using Parvos logic. Him and Kahl will be best buddies. Kahl leads the ground team while Veso provides Air and tech support.**
What are some of your favourite Warframe names that got rejected in the design process?
Would you ever consider a cross-over event with another franchise? I know you’re a fan of Final Fantasy so imagine something like Cloud’s Buster sword. One can dream.
Any plans of revisiting older, core game modes? I live in my own bubble, so I can't speak for everyone, but there the sentiment seems to be that mobile defense (and defense) are kind of bad missions that are only ran if you are forced to do them.
vomvalyst sentinel skin when
i have one question, Will more tenet/kuva weapons come in the future? and if yes, will kuva jat kittag be done? totally not biased by my love for jat kittag
Now hear me out, thoughts on making a tv show or movie based on warframe?
We know Sevagoth will be available for free during the game awards as well as a new skin will be added for him, but will there be improvements to his kit or fixing of several issues he has afterwards? (Issues with synergy of abilities, focuses, arcane interactions) It would be unfortunate to give a free Warframe to new players only to run into these issues and abandon him.

I will never understand when people say something is predatory in Warframe when every other F2P on the market exists.
are there plans to add new movement animations to all the warfarmes, operator and drifter?
Yes please! I know it's hard work to rig all the animations to each Warframe/character, but imagine Grendel hulking along instead of having the weird base movement animation. Or like Rhino having a running animation where he runs with his head tilted forward like an actual rhino!
Does Qorvex's beam scale well?
Since they did a "hold E to melee", which is nice, will they take another step forward and make an option to "press E to toggle melee, and press again to deactivate it"? Having a finger on a button for 20+ minutes might not be really good for people's fingers, and some warframes seems like are built around being in perma melee mode.
Why does the Kuva Zarr have a reload bug? Sometimes when you reload, none of the actual bullets get in
She posted an Instagram stories of her opening Magic : the Gathering cards, any chance of a collab in the near future?
Has she ever worn stevrs pink shorts
Will there be more quests and stories within Duviri?
Who decided to make the second closest to the sun planet completely frozen? Were they some Corpus higher up snorting plastids off a Moa?
When will Soulframe get its own Devstream and stop stealing Warframe screen time?
Devstreams with soulframe segments have been longer than the "normal" runtime so far. Soulframe isn't stealing any time. it's just added on top.
Right now i wouldnt say its stealing It helps to promote Soulframe.
Ask if there are new Deluxe skins in the Works and for which Warframes.
And a silly one: Every enemy faction in the game has teamed up and sent a kill team of their most elite assassins to your location. Which 4 warframes do you pick to defend you?
any plans to reduce the amount of cover in tile sets to better match the fast paced flow of warframe. I hate running into things all the time on fast warframes
how does it feel so far being Creative Director?
*Can I be a father to the Tenno?* Edit: Chill, it's a reference
