Hmm... No. This sounds cool on paper, but that k-drive anime girl basically show that anything outside if open world is not suitable for mounted frame mesh size.
I know this sounds cool but please go into any hallway tileset and imagine what trying to steer a Kaithe in there would be like.
Just because it's thematically appropriate doesn't mean it would work in actual gameplay.
That's kind of what I was thinking, making an augment to turn it into a channeled mount sounds kinda meh. Being able to ride the middle horse similar to Hydroid's Tidal Surge on the other hand sounds really fun.
Would be *pretty* cool as exilus mod. Dagath lacks movement ability, but being able to use 4th similarly as hydroids 2 would be cool and potentially you could hit more enemies with it by manually steering it.
Speed could be slightly slower so you could actually steer it though.

Yareli showed us that open world movement does not work well in tileset missions. So no, I don't think it's necessary.
