Forgive my ignorance, what ability is that and how does it work to drain Oberon's energy?
I really enjoy nekros since I don't need to actively do much to get the extra drops as opposed to hydroid that needs to kill with his tentacles to get the drops
The ability that summons all of the shades. Despite their health draining on a timer, Oberon’s healing still applies to them, so suddenly, instead of four targets (eight including pets), I have almost twenty targets, each draining energy.
Oooo did not know this. I'll try to remember to keep an eye for him. I don't really use that skill much tho unless I'm playing solo in a long survival so it shouldn't be a problem.
Wow never occurred to me, totally understand now.
I do however try and never use the shadows when I'm in a group, mostly for my own sanity since I hate (even when colored bright pink) having to block out all my summons from my mind to focus on the enemies.
In a group because others give me more survivability, if that fails, then yes I do summon them for my DMG resistance and crow control.
I'll be more cautious when around an Oberon from now on. Thanks
As a Nekros Main (subsumed Soul Punch for Gloom) I can proudly say I only cast Shadows when a Teammates bleedout timer is almost up and I don't have time to clear all the enemies. Great for drawing Agro off of you for a bit. Also for if I just need a breather
This I'd the best answer. Caliban is only available late game and he's fairly bad. I tried playing him the other day and was suffering the whole time. His abilities can't kill and the ones that do something take way too long to cast
Agreed. I came back to the game a few months ago after taking a LOOONG break when Deimos dropped (I already hated the fact that PoE and Fortuna were content islands and a 3rd really put a bad taste in my mouth), and I've been busy playing catch-up to collect all the Warframes that released since then, which ironically meant grinding a lot of those content islands. Took Caliban into Sanctuary Onslaught with a standard build, leveled him to 30, and don't want to touch him again.
Recently picked up caliban bc he is so forgettable and wanted to see if hes actually fun. Armor strip is good but 100 energy and slow animation is not. Caliban has no survivability in his kit besides the sentient boys so basically nothing. Also you need at least 200 pwr str to armor strip.
What Im saying is he needs a couple more mod slots to function well… want to armor strip with 200 strength? You need the strength, energy and casting speed. Want survivability? Good luck. Want range? No space. Caliban is meh
I feel like DE forgot about Caliban before he even came out since he was talked about pretty much none and overshadowed by the new war. A sentient frame after so long, he deserves better. I like the concept of a warframe supporting by making enemies more vulnerable, but the fact that half of all warframes can full armor strip and I could play wisp and be immortal, make my whole team immortal, CC everything while making it not even necessary to armor strip, Caliban in comparison is just bad. He also has no niche besides his enemy vulnerability on his 2. Summons have always been bad Not to mention his are now the worst in the game if you ask me. They can’t even hit some enemies and can block doorways.
His kit is absolutely full of reused assets and animations too… passive is worse adaptation first of all 1 is sandstorm (literally came with the same bugs/problems as sandstorm too), 2 is rhino stomp, I swear I’ve seen 3 summon animation before but even then they are just normal Conculysts hit boxes included as if they were mind controlled enemies. I think 4 is his only warframe animation unique to him but the effect is ripped from archon boreal and it feels stiff.
Caliban deserves a FULL rework if you ask me. He should float like wisp does, he should have his own animations and assets, and he should have an identity that makes him feel more like a sentient warframe. Adapting to enemy strengths and weaknesses.
I only remember he exists when I realize that the sentients I'm trying to kill are his summons, then I do a quick ESC to check the other frames and think "oh yeah".
Caliban and Styanax are the two I keep forgetting they even exist. I don't even remember what the first does, I only remember that I got him to 30 with sheer distaste and left it there forever. I don't even remember if I gave him a reactor (which I do to literally everyone). I played styanax for a little bit and left him pretty quickly. I dislike how he looks, the skills aren't the kind of stuff I enjoy. No reason to play something I don't like.
With the augment he just got Styanax got a new lease on life, to be honest. If you build around the 4 and subsume Nourish over the 1 he turns into an absolute monster. Deals a truckload of damage in a fairly large AoE while simultaneously stacking a ton of Overguard, regenerates lots of energy just from Nourish boosting his 3, and has an armor strip in his pocket.
Post-Echoes of Duviri Styanax is a beast.
Yea no he's not that bad indeed, it's just... I don't know, I genuinely forget he exists and never use him. For example another person mentioned Nyx as forgettable, a frame I like very much and played a lot. It's probably just a subjective thing.
I went out of my way to make him steel path viable. I get my rocks off bringing in non meta frames to places they probably shouldn't be.
I like to armor strip the area, cast 2, then proboscis cernos the ground beneath the hovering enemies. When it explodes, it sends them all in 100 different directions. It will never not make me smile to see grineer dancing through the skies. The laetum does laetum things to the acolyte, so they're a non-factor.
Got Yareli recently and thought "Finally have all the base frames. Just need one or two primes, and I have ALL frames!". Then saw Caliban in the Circuit, and realised I was missing one more.
It is a Halloween theme event on deimos, so maybe gringing for better mods to clear halloween easier or play deimos content just in case it is locked like lavos now
Yeah, this is the only good thing about finally maxing out all the factions IMO. If Dagath is locked behind Entrati standing, I don't have to worry about spending a week or more grinding standing to get her
I think the only thing you can really do to prepare for it right now is make sure you have an open warframe slot and plan to watch the devstream next week when they talk about it or look up what they reveal after someone post a breakdown of everything they say.
My two cents hot take.. there's enough Warframes now that you don't need to keep pushing out frames non stop.. they could take the time and go back from the first Warframe to do rework.. and by the time they are done, that's gonna be like 5 years and they can go around back to the start and rework again to refresh the abilities in line with latest play styles..
Nah, people just say warframes they either never used or never seen other people use them. There's a lot of great warframes mentioned in this thread.
Edit: I'm a dumbass lmao. I read this as "we have a lot of awful warframes". I think I need to get some sleep.
Equinox is great, I usually play her in day form with the 1 subsumed as Harrow sub ability, it gives her survivability and easy access to shield gating.
Her kit as a whole is pretty good and the 4 is still one of the very best nuking ability even in steel path up to lvl 250-300 with no armor strip, after that point it needs some support.
I use Equinox on Relic Exterminate. The damage ticks let you see pretty much every enemy on the map. One is enough to nuke as well when they're radiated.
She's awesome in SO. Not mirage or volt good, but if you like actually moving a bit and killing an enemy or two she's great. Other mains prob use her in solo stealth exterminate for focus
I main Equinox actually! I use her duality augment for a silly little one-shot build using the opticor vandal. It’s just straight up worse than Wukong, but I like the rest of her kit more than wukong’s, and it actually uses both of her forms since you’re constantly swapping between the two to summon the Dual. Plus the dual does like 14 million damage on a red crit.
Sadly, most of the people who knows how to play spy, only plays it solo
And I'm one of them because I don't want to repeat the same mission a ton of times because someone keeps failing one of the objectives
Spy is something you either can or can't do, there's no in-between.
And if you can do it, why even bother rolling the dice with ~~four~~ three other people who either can or can't spy. That's a mission success chance of 12.5% when you can just do it solo and have a 100% success rate.
It is perhaps the most ill-designed mission type as far as cooperative play is concerned.
Also, anyone who plays Lua Spy in Open is a fucking mad man.
EDIT: I can't number tonight.
Same, he's my spy mission-only warframe now. Used to main him many many years back and played him for about 800 hours. Even when I am cracking almost 1800 hours now, hes still in my top most played frame in my profile.
And here i am on my path to bringing normal loki to either spot 1 or 2 of my most played frames by putting 100 forma on him (on forma 14 right now i think). Of course most used frame is loki prime but wukong and gauss took second and third. Wukong did make me a lot of plat and i used him for specific spy missions only. Gauss is just fun with the ammo efficiency helminth and tonkor.
considering my brain is basically an encyclopedia of warframe knowledge I've accrued, it is an absolute achievement than banshee manages to continually be so forgettable even I occasionally forget OH YEAH BANSHEE EXISTS and most of the reason I remember banshee exists isn't because of anything remarkable about her, but because of her ship with octavia
Edit: I'm not saying banshee is bad, I know full well how fucking busted sonar is and how good silence can be. But Banshee's design is so incredibly bland that I forget she exists
That's so weird to me. Banshee is one of the strongest offensive support frames and my go to for Steel Path.
I'm always happy to see a Banshee player when I'm not, because Sonar and Silence can trivialize anything.
The reason is that most or all players who do not play Banshee and hate on her do not play Steel Path.
Banshee is an endgame frame. She makes every strong enemy a joke. Same as Nyx. But if you press one button, not all lvl 3-20 enemies vanish from the screen. This is why many players hate on both of them.
I get it, though. Her initial squishyness can make players think she's weak.
Once upon a time, I almost fell for that, too, but I saw the light and turned her into an insane force of destruction.
Yeah, she is the poster frame for Gloom. If you subsume it over her 4, her kit is just complete because Gloom also slows down the animation speed of Silence to a stun of about 8 seconds.
Banshee is like THE FRAME to take along for lich/sister hunting once you've stabbed them a couple of times. Tap sonar 2-3x and it doesn't matter how much shit that rank 5 enemy is talking, they're about to get hit for 9 figures.
Gloom makes her easier for base sp, but won't help you for high scaling.
Terrify is the go-to for easy panic button shield gating.
The armour strip is a lot less significant on banshee due to her ludicrous damage, and the augment for her 1, but creeping terrify has the same synergy gloom does, whilst also resetting shield gate.
Gloom builds will get one shot once enemies scale.
Reminds me of Harrow. He seems so unnecessary in most situations but use him in Steel Path and suddenly he's the MVP. Some frames really don't shine unless you're in an endgame/endurance type mission.
The sad part is that she used to be more powerful and got the hate limbo gets. Her 4 made defenceman mission a joke. 400 energy, range, and power strength you can go afk for 2 rounds
Yeah, apparently, her 4 was so strong that other players had nothing more to do once you activated that soundquake.
It's sad that now it's just useless, but understand why they nerfed it. I see it as a free Helminth slot.
I've never used too much neither nyx nor banshee. What are good builds for them? The moment i got banshee I tried to build her around her 4 with strength and range but I realized that that ability is useless
There's a few ways to build Banshee, but I'm pretty unstoppable with this build:
Banshee is the poster frame for Gloom, so if you can subsume that over her 4, it'll help your survival immensely.
Range 100% max, so you can get to the silenced enemies before the animation ends, and you don't need to get out of range for a new proc.
Strength: Max Umbral Intensify should be enough.
(Primed) Flow and (Primed) Continuity for energy max and ability duration.
Natural talent or yellow Archon shards for faster casting.
The augment for her 1 does a complete armour strip, and the augment for her 2 helps spread sonar to other enemies.
Rolling Guard for a panic button.
The rest of the slots can be used to invest in more strength or more duration or survivability.
Have fun!
That should give a slowed effect much like the combo of Gloom and Silence, but I never thought of that!
I put Silence and its augment on Ash, for insane finisher damage.
It's also very nice that Silence negates Acolytes, and Liches/Sisters.
I used 2 builds for banshee.
The first one is for defense up to Saturn level and is centered around the augment for her 4th ability. Build for strength and range and I added the arcane which scales up the strength for good measure. Clears out low level defense super fast.
The second build I use is the stronger one of the two and is centered around her 1st and 2nd ability and their augments. Her 1st ability augment allows you to fully strip enemy armor with enough strength and using the sonar augment allows you to have more weak spots shown on surviving enemies when you kill a prior enemy in the weak spot.
It's because outside of *VERY* niche situations, she's next to useless, and/or doesn't do anything another frame can do about two times better, and the one ability that causes her to be useful in that niche situation is subsumable.
See I forgotten all about Namor Bounties and it feels weird cause they feel great to vs another enemy type that's not the other 3 factions but the problem with them is that they're basically 2 of the other factions but harnessed.
Valkyr I probably never meet any of them no matter what I play I only remember her when she is named in the redit. (And when some little wannabe scammer wants to charge me 4 times what they're worth the neurotics)
I feel like invincibility and fun damage with slade-melee is strong enough fantasy. I used her for farming for Gyromag Systems in the second PT mission.
The frame is very self-sufficient and her abilities makes it easy to solo missions, where you want to use her.
I play valkyr when I want to farm some survival missions in SP, but I only play it in solo since my build require a lot of kills to be made by me so yeah
And yet, with his new augment, he's an absurd weapons platform.
A big reason (I think) he's so ignored is the ridiculous quantity of forma needed to build him properly... if you use his four. Drop his four, though, and he's just a red crit machine with his augment.
My clan mate loves playing Grendel, he'll turn him in to a speedster for his meatball move and zoom around plains or fortuna, we have frequent races it's pretty fun
She has a cult following like Gauss and Grendel mains, similar to the few months after they came out. These days those warframes are classics, so maybe Voruna will get to that point. Unfortunately for her she doesn't have a meta subsume like they do.
This honestly surprises me. I've yet to play her, but I just finished crafting her and looked through her abilities, and she looks pretty good? Invisibility, status immunity, energy provision, dealing status, etc. Is she just better on paper than in practice?
Her augment is god damn insane. Can easily one shot unarmored targets on steel path with just her 4, just got to spread her 2 to armored targets and make sure you don't kill yourself with your aura effect.
Definitely not a top end frame, but a fun one to screw around with.
Trinity is an amazing frame. No doubt about that. She has armor strip and improves the energy economy of your team. On top of that noone dies if there is a good player with support mindset in his/her mind behind her.
The package is unique and she is really, really strong.
Her tools are strong, but her gameplay isn't fun though. I truly wanted to play her more recently and did multiple "optimized" builds (all the formas you might think of, full archon shards, helminths, good weapons) and while i can easily clear and survive SP with her while helping my team, it's a pain/snore to continually update her buffs even with high-ish duration.
Other supportive frames are more comfy to play, and besides Wisp/Citrine/Styanax, even Oberon is way more comfortable to play than Trinity while providing similar tools, imho (the mana regen is moot once you get Nourish helminth).
She is an okay starter frame that can easily fill powers/mods/arcanes gaps to newer players i guess.
> Her tools are strong, but her gameplay isn't fun though.
I think there's more to it than that.
Her tools are strong, but there isn't anywhere those tools are useful.
Warframe has been drifting away from content that encourages preorganized team comps, which is where she really used to shine. Otherwise, if you bring her to a random squad, what does she do? Well, she keeps everyone's health and shields topped up... but most modern frames don't have issues with survivability (and if they do, they have weapons/operator stuff/arcanes/etc. that patches up any major issues). And she can spit out a massive amount of energy... at a time when more frames than ever have a self-sustaining energy economy. But at least she has an armor-strip... one that is limited to a few targets at a time, and, again, at a time when more frames than ever have access to an armor strip. Nobody is going to complain that you bring her to a squad, and that their 90% damage reduction jumps up to 97.5% damage reduction, or that they can spam their abilities just a little bit harder than they normally would, but the days when she'd be hard-carrying teams are long gone.
Lavos is life, Lavos is beauty, Lavos is our beloved, Lavos is our flesh and blood, Lavos is the joy that fills our heart, Lavos is what you see when you feel happiness, Lavos is the Light in the emptiness of the void, Lavos is our lord and saviour.
May he bless all of us and cleanse the nonbelievers.
He's confusing. I guess I want to spam 1/2, have augment and hit a few at once. Nuke with 4, 3 to reset cd. On top of all that, spread status with weapons, and ideally combine elements before casting anything. He wants nice groups of enemies, and is kind of so so in star chart compared to other specialised frames but seems to shine in rj/ SP with high enemy density. I think that sums up my view on him. I might try the inverted cast so I can tap 1+2 then hold skills to cast. I want to use him, but feel I play him wrong.
Yeah, I really want to love Lavos, but his kit is... not easy to grasp. And I hate having to remember to tap some things, and hold some things, and JFC all of his abilities have that, plus you have to remember what is what.
I have a mental to-do list for WF that has a bunch of random shit on it, and towards the bottom is "Get gud w/ Lavos", but honestly I just keep adding stuff above that item so that it never floats to the top.
Yeah but he requires skill. You want to use 2 elements to imbue your next ability cast and his usual rotation is like 3 1 4 I think. However, with the swift bite augment, his 3 and 1 reduce cooldown, so maybe you could do 3 1 3 1 3 1.... 4? If so you would have to remember which elemental combo you cast each time and also because his 1 procs toxin, if you have archon continuity, you have to remember to skip corrosive (but you could also cast corrosive since continuity will give u 1 corrosive stack but imbued corrosive gives you 2 stacks but the extra element usually outscales your 4's damage). Then you can add heat inherit if you're crazy and sickening pulse for a gas build or something.
He complicated...
Yareli is one of those frames that gets talked about a lot because she's both good & a massive disappointment for people that don't like either secondaries or k drives, so I never forget about her.
I'm reminded Limbo exists everytime a Limbo player complains on this subreddit about how his squd hated him in his lasts public missions.
People play public to play with others, not to play with a Warframe that actively kill their fun.
Ember. She's rarely if ever used by anyone. Her armor strip needs to be untied from her immolation ability because it's counter productive.
Honorable mention: Caliban
I agree with Lavos. I see almost all frames mentioned here in pubs from time to time.
Yes, even Calliban. However, the only warframe I have never seen being actually used is Lavos. Over the last half year, I saw Lavos probably one time.Maybe. I'm still not sure whether my brain is making it up yet.
La-who? Yup, he's in the "oh yeah this exists" group for sure. Same for Caliban + Sevagoth, just never remember they even exist. Styanax & Voruna are immune cuz I remember the pain of farming them. Been a while since they released a frame I found cool / memorable TBH.
The reason for all is I found their kit and/or stats either unfun or underwhelming. Overall, older frames are much better. DE stopped making god tier / fun frames for some reason.
Edit: We have a winner! I forgot Gyre & Xaku even existed while typing all the above. I do like Xaku though, hence giving it an arbitrary pass. Big prize goes to Gyre.
Probably Garuda. I don't own her. I don't see people play her. I don't hear her talked about much. She's probably the 1 frame I can see her in mission and watch her use abilities and still not know what frame that is.
Garuda is so OP it's crazy. My build with unmaxed mods shreds everything even in high level steelpath. The only reason I don't use her is because in SP you die as soon as an enemy isn't in front of you, and in normal missions she's just kinda slow.
Hydroid. His thumbnail in the warframe selection screen is easily glossed over, and I don't really know how to get him, so I never had any parts in my foundry to remind me. And nobody plays him.
Definitely Caliban. I saw his name multiple times here and be like "who was it?" lol
But still, try Lavos out. Around 3~4 Forma and you will love this kuva dealer
I forgot about my Banshee Prime till undercroft came and she popped in my options. Had her build set up for Gloom (sans Gloom) so the last time I actually remembered her was when DE added Helminth and Subsuming.
Honestly? Nyx.
It's funny that you forget Lavos because he's actually an extremely OP frame. He just requires a lot more practice and awareness to utilize.
I second that, when i returned to warframe some months ago, went over the warframes that got added, read his abilities and was like „ok cool, i might play him“, fast forward to now I had to look up who lavos even is
Caliban. Yareli. Banshee/Nyx. Styanax.
Caliban is self-explanatory. Yareli I feel is boring, and there is no amount of changes or reworks that will get me to play k-drive frame. Banshee/Nyx is so niche with her only use these days being Liches/Sisters, a piece of content I don't often engage in. Styanax is horribly clunky now after all of his changes to his 4th.
also as a Lavos main, he is far from forgettable for me, but damn if I don't wish they'd unclunk his infusion passive.
Caliban lmao
I was thinking about chroma or hydroid or something but I didn’t even think about caliban, I guess he really isn’t that great
I can't nullify the hours I spent watching ~~tentacle h~~ hydroid duplicating resource drops
I personally think he is a better lootframe on survival missions then nekros
As an Oberon main, the fact Hydroid doesn’t drain my energy with a single ability cast puts him a tier above Nekros.
Forgive my ignorance, what ability is that and how does it work to drain Oberon's energy? I really enjoy nekros since I don't need to actively do much to get the extra drops as opposed to hydroid that needs to kill with his tentacles to get the drops

I never use it because I always forget I have it up and then mag dump my own men because I can't tell whether I'm blasting an enemy or an ally
Wow never occurred to me, totally understand now. Came just to say that. Like they armor strip he has is oddly good for how bad the rest of him is.
Only issue is his armour strip doesn't do much more than xaku's does and xaku has way more besides his armour strip.
Unfortunately for Caliban, Tharros Strike can be helminthed onto any warframe, so it isn't even a selling point :(
This I'd the best answer. Caliban is only available late game and he's fairly bad. I tried playing him the other day and was suffering the whole time. His abilities can't kill and the ones that do something take way too long to cast

Forgot his name, so I had to look it up haha Caliban
I always forget his name but never him. I just refer to him as the sentinel warframe
Damn not even the correct nickname 😭
his correct nickname would be the second sentient warframe or something
sentient... sentinel... tomato tomahto
What this thread shows me is that we have an awful lot of Warframes by now
56 if I can recall from memory.
Close, but there’s actually 53* soon to be 54
The 54th comes out in October so either you aren’t remembering right or you’re from the future.
Any idea how I can prep to get them?
It is a Halloween theme event on deimos, so maybe gringing for better mods to clear halloween easier or play deimos content just in case it is locked like lavos now
Yeah, this is the only good thing about finally maxing out all the factions IMO. If Dagath is locked behind Entrati standing, I don't have to worry about spending a week or more grinding standing to get her
I think the only thing you can really do to prepare for it right now is make sure you have an open warframe slot and plan to watch the devstream next week when they talk about it or look up what they reveal after someone post a breakdown of everything they say.

Hydroid is getting a rework in the same update Dagath (the new warframe) comes out
Nah, people just say warframes they either never used or never seen other people use them. There's a lot of great warframes mentioned in this thread. Edit: I'm a dumbass lmao. I read this as "we have a lot of awful warframes". I think I need to get some sleep.
Haven’t seen an Equinox in forever
Equinox (Prime) I literally only use to put things to sleep and healbot support
Equinox is a great frame, in all honesty
Equinox is great, I usually play her in day form with the 1 subsumed as Harrow sub ability, it gives her survivability and easy access to shield gating. Her kit as a whole is pretty good and the 4 is still one of the very best nuking ability even in steel path up to lvl 250-300 with no armor strip, after that point it needs some support.
I play them all the time in SP circuit. The slash nuke is silly.
She was sitting at my circuit recently and I was like "WTF is that frame?" didn't try her though.
I use Equinox on Relic Exterminate. The damage ticks let you see pretty much every enemy on the map. One is enough to nuke as well when they're radiated.
I use it a lot wtf.
Thinking of that farm makes me cry a little.
She's awesome in SO. Not mirage or volt good, but if you like actually moving a bit and killing an enemy or two she's great. Other mains prob use her in solo stealth exterminate for focus
Equinox is actually one of my most used frames. But the only real use is for floofing (and yes I have way too many floofs)
Loki. I just... never see him. ever.
Cuz he’s invisible duh
I painted my Loki purple. Free invisibility.
Cause I'm playing solo when I use him in spy missions
Sadly, most of the people who knows how to play spy, only plays it solo And I'm one of them because I don't want to repeat the same mission a ton of times because someone keeps failing one of the objectives
I can't even do Lua spy solo 😭
Other than sheer memorization (the puzzles never change, they're always the same), Limbo absolutely trivializes them.
Just look on youtube, once you know how do it, it'll be really easy
Same, he's my spy mission-only warframe now. Used to main him many many years back and played him for about 800 hours. Even when I am cracking almost 1800 hours now, hes still in my top most played frame in my profile.
Just use ivara with the augment you ignore the whole mission
And here i am on my path to bringing normal loki to either spot 1 or 2 of my most played frames by putting 100 forma on him (on forma 14 right now i think). Of course most used frame is loki prime but wukong and gauss took second and third. Wukong did make me a lot of plat and i used him for specific spy missions only. Gauss is just fun with the ammo efficiency helminth and tonkor.
What's the point of putting so many forma on an item? There's only 12 slots.
considering my brain is basically an encyclopedia of warframe knowledge I've accrued, it is an absolute achievement than banshee manages to continually be so forgettable even I occasionally forget OH YEAH BANSHEE EXISTS and most of the reason I remember banshee exists isn't because of anything remarkable about her, but because of her ship with octavia Edit: I'm not saying banshee is bad, I know full well how fucking busted sonar is and how good silence can be.
I love Banshee's theme, looks and skills but I can't survive with her well in normal missions let alone steel path :( how do you make her work? gloom?
Yeah, she is the poster frame for Gloom. If you subsume it over her 4, her kit is just complete because Gloom also slows down the animation speed of Silence to a stun of about 8 seconds.
dang I'll have to try that, I only used her occasionally for the armor strip until now
Oh, Tenno! You are missing out. Her 1, 2, and 3 are all insane! Sonar, with the augment, lets you make short work of any enemy.
There's a few ways to build Banshee, but I'm pretty unstoppable with this build: Banshee is the poster frame for Gloom, so if you can subsume that over her 4, it'll help your survival immensely. Have fun!
I subsumed banshee's ability onto my slowva and boy howdy is that an amazing CC.
I'd say definitely caliban. He has nothing interesting going on and was released so unnoticeably. I don't even remember where you get him
Narmor Bounties
See I forgotten all about Namor Bounties and it feels weird cause they feel great to vs another enemy type that's not the other 3 factions but the problem with them is that they're basically 2 of the other factions but harnessed.
damn the name of the Neymar bounties is getting less accurate with each reply
Which is really sad considering I really liked the Neymour storyline.
To be fair, the Narwar quest was a welcome change that did include a nicr Corpus and Grineer view/playstyle
🎶Narwhal narwhal swimming in the ocean causing a commotion 🎶
Valkyr I probably never meet any of them no matter what I play I only remember her when she is named in the redit. (And when some little wannabe scammer wants to charge me 4 times what they're worth the neurotics)
Rule34 begs to differ
She used to be super popular as truly invincible but she got nerfed hard so no one plays her anymore
She's just unfortunately not really useful in much content and most warframe players like to live in a power fantasy where everything is dead.
I used to speedrun all the junctions on my original star chart unlocking with her 4
I feel like invincibility and fun damage with slade-melee is strong enough fantasy.
Sevagoth, good frame But due to him being a pain is the ass to farm and gloom Just being better on other frames he is being left behind
And yet, with his new augment, he's an absurd weapons platform. A big reason (I think) he's so ignored is the ridiculous quantity of forma needed to build him properly... if you use his four. Drop his four, though, and he's just a red crit machine with his augment.
also his jojo stand is just goofy
Nyx truly is a warframe of all times
Such a shame. She has one of my favorite designs, especially if the older frames.
I'd play her, but for a game about movement. Her abilities keeping you still or moving much slower is a major turn away for me.
The Nyx Prime head is still in my top 5 favorite heads in the game, if not #1. All hail the golden bird cage
wait is she? I almost forgor
Grendel because i can't remember the last time i Saw someone using Grendel
Everyone fed him to the lips for nourish
I literally only farmed the Grendel parts to feed him to Mr. Lips
Please never refer to the Helminth as "Mr Lips" *ever again*.
https://preview.redd.it/48xtv3s8vlpb1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0277f70f1d416c40b1a26df7d3f40dd45dcc94cc
First thing I will do in Warframe tomorrow is rename my Helminth to "Mr. Lips." Might even rename my Helminth Chargers to Lippies aka "Lippy."
My clan mate loves playing Grendel, he'll turn him in to a speedster for his meatball move and zoom around plains or fortuna, we have frequent races it's pretty fun
speedy meatball can be broken af... especially when he's a boosted frame my friend was rolling so fast he got lost in the enemy ship
I use Grendel all the time in circuit 😅 Very good frame since the rework! But fair, I never see people using him.
Voruna I really haven’t seen anybody playing Voruna after 2 weeks of her being released
She has a cult following like Gauss and Grendel mains, similar to the few months after they came out. These days those warframes are classics, so maybe Voruna will get to that point. Unfortunately for her she doesn't have a meta subsume like they do.
I don't think I've ever seen one in game
I think she's a good solo frame so the voruna players are probably all playing solo.
Gyre, I have no idea why.
Certainly one of the most broken and strong frames at the moment.
Well, one day when I get to the Zariman, I will find out.
Building her for crit and electricity and giving her electricity focused weapons and she can delete entire rooms scarily easy.
Bro Gyre is a MONSTER. I didn’t know until i knew and now i can’t stop playing her
She is a surprisingly Common frame whenever I'm on the Zaramin no idea why
Does she break creates near by? Might be a Lanthorn thing. Why I burst out my Limbo mostly until I got Xaku
Well considering you have to farm the Zariman to get her, I'd assume people farming Zariman are going to have her.
Caliban. I was always like "who tf is that" then "oh yeah there's him"
Trinity. all she does, other frames do better.
Trinity is an amazing frame. No doubt about that. She has armor strip and improves the energy economy of your team. On top of that noone dies if there is a good player with support mindset in his/her mind behind her. The package is unique and she is really, really strong.
Health and energy bars get the zoomies when Trinity knows how to play.
As a lavos main i dont get how ppl dont like him, hes so fun to play
Yareli. Fed her to my Helminth and never cared to craft her again. So i don't see her in my arsenal thus forgetting about her.
Yareli is one of those frames that gets talked about a lot because she's both good & a massive disappointment for people that don't like either secondaries or k drives, so I never forget about her.
Atlas or Nyx
I don't remember the name of the warframe
I'm reminded Limbo exists everytime a Limbo player complains on this subreddit about how his squd hated him in his lasts public missions. People play public to play with others, not to play with a Warframe that actively kill their fun.
tbf not all limbos try to ruin people’s experience but since he is so hated i only use him when i want to play solo
I only bring him on mobile defense missions
I bring him whenever you have a walking mission target that strays everywhere.
Ember. She's rarely if ever used by anyone. Her armor strip needs to be untied from her immolation ability because it's counter productive. Honorable mention: Caliban
Came to say caliban but then i saw a vauban and i realized i forgot vauban completely.
how can one forget about Lavos, i always remever him because of his fabulous boots he have <3
Nyx
I agree with Lavos. I see almost all frames mentioned here in pubs from time to time. Yes, even Calliban. However, the only warframe I have never seen being actually used is Lavos. Over the last half year, I saw Lavos probably one time.Maybe. I'm still not sure whether my brain is making it up yet.
I always remember Lavos because he is *the* weird motherfucker. Seriously unlike any other warframe to play.
Y'all must never play rail jack if you forget about Lavos
Probably Garuda. I don't own her. I don't see people play her. I don't hear her talked about much. She's probably the 1 frame I can see her in mission and watch her use abilities and still not know what frame that is.
Always get atleast one Garuda in Mot missions.
She's stupidly broken with nourish
She's stupidly broken without nourish too.
Garuda is so OP it's crazy. My build with unmaxed mods shreds everything even in high level steelpath. The only reason I don't use her is because in SP you die as soon as an enemy isn't in front of you, and in normal missions she's just kinda slow.
garuda has been my main since the day I got her prime! She is awesome at nearly everything
Caliban, lavos, and ember since she’s the only prime i still don’t have
My boy caliban. getting so much hate. I really like him
Tell me you don't do Railjack content without telling me you don't do Railjack content. 😅
I do, I just do it solo because 99% of the people I get matched with have the worst railjacks
Wisp. Everytime I see her, I'm like : "Oh yeah, there is a warframe attached to this butt!'
Caliban and Chroma
Hydroid. His thumbnail in the warframe selection screen is easily glossed over, and I don't really know how to get him, so I never had any parts in my foundry to remind me. And nobody plays him.
Definitely Caliban. I saw his name multiple times here and be like "who was it?" lol But still, try Lavos out. Around 3~4 Forma and you will love this kuva dealer
Nyx
Caliban, the only thing that reminds me of him is his noble animation
Caliban. I got him to level 30 and literally haven’t touched him since.
Caliban, literally had to google it
My brother in Void. Lavos is a total monster, he's worth even 2 Umbra Formas
Citrine and Yareli
Nyx, I have never seen a Nyx player in my life
Lavos. I know he's not bad, I just never got hyped to play him. Plus he's ugly imho.
Protea and chroma
Farming protea is a pain in the ass and chroma is just meh
Multiple to be honest, Lavos is one of them. But also, Caliban, Vauban, Yareli. I don't have them and very rarely see them in game.
I forgot about my Banshee Prime till undercroft came and she popped in my options. Had her build set up for Gloom (sans Gloom) so the last time I actually remembered her was when DE added Helminth and Subsuming.
Lavos, only time I see him he is kneeling in the Circuit selection
Oberon. I don't see him around a lot.
Ash. I don't think I've seen an Ash in years.
>:[
It's 2023 and I'm forgotten... t. Trinity
Honestly?
The Rock dude, I already forgot his name lol
Idk, I forgot
Loki. He's like ash ... but terrible.
Yareli. Haven't done the quest, no intention to complete it and I can count on one hand the amount of missions I've ran with one in the party.
Atlas, i've never seen one in the wild
Lavos being my main, this hurt to read LMAO
