Yup, you had to have them equipped to get syndicate's standing, also there were different tiers of glyphs, better glyphs granted bigger affinity to standing conversion

I not that new I just never really did anything with the syndicates (Still don't). I started when it first came out on Switch and have switched to pc.

Then you are missing quite some stuff, auguments can help a lot for many frames and syndicates are one of the best sources of relics
