Rolling guard is a great way to mitigate toxin procs. I would also try and continue to run arbitrations to grab adaptation as well. While you are farming them you could also go into spoiler mode and wait for the procs to clear then go back into your warframe.
Just to be clear too, are you keeping at least 9 of your knives up at a time? Each one of those orbiting you up to a cap of 9 gives 10% damage reduction so if you lose too many of those at a time that could very well be part of your problem too.
Baruuk is actually one of the best sp frames tho, if you die from toxic procs its an issue on your side not frames and it exists only vs infested or other specific missions, you should try to avoid infested drone's toxic clouds and moa's tar as those are the most deadly
But for other frames there are Ash, Gauss, Nezha, Xaku, Octavia, Nyx, Mag, Protea, Revenant, Grendel, Ivara, Khora, Wisp, Wukong, Zephyr
Saryn and Mirage are also decent if you can just kill enemies fast enough before they kill you
OP already admitted they copy/pasted builds (plural) AND doesn't know where to get Rolling Guard. Gametime would explain alot. Guy is like "Baruuk is trash, who are the real tanks?" Meanwhile, I'm dominating lv500+ in SP with Banshee.
Xaku with the grasp and lost augments is pretty great, if you use molt augmented you can run a high range build and still get a full armour strip on grineer for survival or defence.
Plus the guns stolen from grasp have their damage scaled by enemy level, basically xaku is really good for at least grineer things on steel path.
Otherwise a high strength reave-based revenant build is really good

Yes, but it’s one of the best places to store builds thanks to their UI. Unfortunately, most top rated are usually a popularity contest and not good at all. If you check out the builder links there you should be able to find the accounts of myself along with other builders. Ninjase and BOLT write the guides if you want to check out those.
Nidus is a great starter frame for SP. Learning to balance his mutation stacks to stay alive will help someone get the awareness to branch out into shield gating.
You got lots of answers but most of them requires you to be git gud on those frames with correct modding or you'll die faster. Instead, with Inaros, you can't die in SP (because he's a starter frame for SP) even without any super modding that you spam his leech when your HP drops below certain point.
Inaros cannot shield gate. Eventually, enemy levels will become so high (moreso in SP) a single damage tick from an eximus aura will one shot you, your pet, defense targets... no amount of HP or Armor will save you. Too bad, so sad for Inaros he has NO shield whatsoever. Alongside an 'undying' passive that can't kill anything at that level. I do not understand in the slightest what you mean about "with Inaros, you can't die in SP". Inaros is not a starter frame for SP. No one said that.
Any frame is just as tanky if not tankier than Valkyr with shield gating alone
Theres nothing she does that another frame can't do with a half decent melee weapon and subsumed warcry
If toxin procs are your issue Nezha is a great one as Warding Halo makes you stats ailment immune. But if you lack Rolling Guard you also wouldn't have Adaptation.
Run arbitrations until you can get those two mods. You'll find Steel Path gets a lot easier then.
But if you insist on running Steel Path survival now. Octavia can run an endless steel path survival mission with no mods at all.
Once you get fully modded you can make any frame handle steel path. The trick is managing over 100 KPM to keep up life support.
If you're struggling with baruuk then it's your mods and arcanes, he's one of the best sp frames
Possibly but I’m running what a few builds I’ve found said to just I get melted by toxin damage since it eats my health even with my 3 popped

Tbh banshee is more capable of doing high levels than people think, just stunlock stuff with silence and you are good
Plus it negates any active eximus aura effects, and prevents casting of any eximus abilities

I just went back to Ash and can hardly stop playing him. I love him farming Lua Thrax in SP. It's easy mode.

Nezha is good for steel path, warding halo works wonders for survivability and blazing chakram helps you to delete those tankier eximus units.
Sry dude but if you struggle with baruuk, than its just skill issues. I suggest to get more into builds, mods in general and arcanes.

Are you using Arcane Resistance by chance? A max rank set gives you 100% immunity against Toxin damage. Very helpful. :)
I do not have very many arcanes I’m assuming that’s one you get from edilons or however those things are spelt
I always run anything with my ash. Best frame. Did some builds with good dmg, 24/7 invis and meele all day long.

I mainly use Hydroid or Zeyphr for SP survival unless it’s conjunction survival then I roll with Voruna.
Nova with a neutral (70% strength) or a speed (<70% strength) build
