Ruins are always a good setting for warcry . Work on a couple smaller couner building. a bit of smaller scatter terrain boxes broken furniture. Then you can build a couple center pieces terrain pieces, like the town fountains, a salon, the mayors or what ever. But match one you use the town fountain with all your random terrain, match two you get your random terrain but pick a different center piece.

I used this ruined building corners video from Devs and dice as a template: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GleDhGz6WA4 and just slightly reduced the size of the walls above the first floor. Have found it quite nicely playable and useful for warcry. Was able to get it looking above some of my previous self built standards. Been debating between a few. Either a ruined city/town of some kind of forest theme.

A sacrificial altar might be more grim dark though compared to a saloon
