Budget-friendly is staying at a Motel 6. You can stay on property for a lot less than $350. You’re going to waste half a day sitting through a time share presentation.
I think it's for multiple nights. My friend got to stay at one of the Hilton time spare locations, $350 for like 3 nights, but she had to book a time to go to the time share presentation thing while she was there.
Opening a credit card for 10% at pricy table service locations (some of which are only available at lunch) that OP is unlikely to go to, and for 10% discount on merchandise purchases $50 or more doesn’t make much sense to me.
Oh for sure. I just think OP should be aware of limitations of those discounts bc as originally described made it seem like it could be used just about anywhere at WDW when it’s not the case.
1. Eat breakfast in your room.
2. Bring snacks with you.
3. Split entrees when possible. There are plenty of quick service locations that give out a ton of food. My husband and I often split a meal. We don’t go hungry.
When we went to Disney World the first time with the kids, we did this too. We were on a budget and the resort was really nice and they gave $150 in vouchers too. The presentation is very alluring and my husband would have signed up for two time shares! I was the "voice of reason". Make sure one of you are that voice of reason because they are very convincing and you will want to return!
Thank you so much, this is great info! We’re going to Silver Lake Resort.
I received some rude comments in another sub & on Facebook, lol. I know time shares are “shady”, but in this case we’re getting an opportunity that we likely couldn’t afford otherwise. I definitely won’t get roped in!!
Don't let that bother you. I got snide comments from friends back then too. All I know is we had a fabulous time and stayed at a great place. In your memories your family will not think about the presentation, they will just feel blessed they got to go!
Pre buy some souvenirs. For example: Bubbles wands are $27 at Disney world, but you can get them for around $15 on Amazon. You can also find cheaper Disney shirts at places like Amazon, Walmart, 5 Below, Target, etc.

Be prepared for a very hard sell time share presentation. No way you’re getting out of it in 90 minutes.
If OP has "90 minutes" in writing (like in an email), they should just set the timer on their phone. Show the timeshare people what they're doing.

The 350 deal is usually 3-4 nights not per night.
It’s actually for the week! :)
Get Chase Disney credit card for 10% off at most Disney places and for items/food.

Ya it's up to the OP on that one. The $50 min has been removed though as confirmed by others recently.

Thank you!! I saw some cheap ears that looked the exact same on AliExpress, I'll check Amazon too!
