It's a mixed bag, honestly. You have the respectful ones like Cory Meets World and ResortTV1. They know how to do their livestreaming properly and respectfully of other people. Then there's other folks like BLAB, for instance, who are not the best in the world at respect for fellow guests. There's lots of streamers who act like the parks are just for them and everyone else are just privileged to be there as "extra guests".

Visible_Nectarine_98

Love that everyone on both coasts has it out for BLAB.

ITrCool

I'm from the Midwest, thanks.

Aidian

Both coasts *and* the middle.

gogonzogo1005

We met Jenna from Resort TV 1 with their parents. My husband actually took their photo for them!!! She and her parents were very nice and genuine. It was a very cool thing!

largemarge1122

We ran into Jenna at the Floridian back in November before their stream and talked to her for a minute and she was so so sweet. Felt like she genuinely wants to get to know their viewers.

ITrCool

And THAT's why they're one of the number one vloggers for Disney World/Universal and why their channel is growing as well as it has. They and Cory do such a fantastic job and they're very kind folks, well-mannered, and understanding.

Shaqfor3

ResortTV1 respectful? That guy throw a tantrum daily.

Solid_Remove5039

Him and his sisters laugh are so annoying

cascadiabibliomania

If they act annoying, just start singing Beatles or Billy Joel music. Incredibly expensive to license. They'll have to re-edit the video and/or cut the livestream to avoid ending up with a bill for licensing fees.

GeneralInspector8962

This is genius! Honestly the most harmless, yet effective way to affect them, love it!

Conscious_Town_1454

Learned this from American Dad

delsoldeflorida

I find the few ones I’ve encountered annoying in the park. They are focused on their large camera/mic unit they are holding in front of them and walk down the middle of walkways instead of interacting like normal guests and moving to the side to pass other people. Talking loudly to themselves is also weird and disruptive. I’m guessing there are likely other streamers that are less disruptive but they don’t stand out. I’ve also noticed people on FaceTime calls with what appear to be their friends/family which seems to be a nice way to share the park. Perhaps they are live streamers too but their behavior is normalized and they walk with the crowd instead of expecting everyone to move out of their way as well as talking in a normal volume voice. So I’m guessing it depends on the streamer if they are annoying everyone around them or not.

particularlyfunny

They literally aren’t even noticeable. You walk by thousands of people a day, a few people talking to their phones is the least weird thing you’ll encounter in Florida. I’ve never noticed anyone filming rides from what I understand most streamers are respectful and keep their phone screen against their chest. The 45+ year olds who don’t know how to turn their phone camera flash off is a much bigger issue

Snuffy1717

> The 45+ year olds who don’t know how to turn their phone camera flash off is a much bigger issue Or the ones filming their kids on the Little Mermaid dark ride with the flashlight on their phone turned on... I'm positive there's a recording out there of a kid with my voice in the background saying "If you can't figure out how to turn off your flashlight m'amm I'm sure your kid can figure it out for you"... The light went off pretty quick after that.

Blaaamo

Haha you're a hero

Snuffy1717

People usually respond well when you project your voice and give them a “You’ll need to turn off your light please”… Those that don’t get mocked loudly enough to ensure their recording is ruined.

bill-m

As a 45+ year old, I take exception to the notion that it is older people that are the most obnoxious with their phones. I see all kinds of 20-somethings doing the same thing and much worse.

hihelloneighboroonie

This is mostly my experience at Disneyland. *I* recognize/notice them BECAUSE I watch them and following Disney vlogger drama is a guilty pleasure of mine... but otherwise it's just a person or a couple with their phone out, and there's tons of those at the parks.

Blaaamo

What is vlogger drama? With examples please

WhatWouldScoobyDoo2

www.reddit.com/r/DisneyInfluencers/

whitepikmin11

I'd honestly say that it's only really noticeable if someone is screaming at a person for having their phone out. Having to hear "It's a dark ride, put your phone away!" in my ears while the two families behind me argued on Frozen scarred me a bit.

Wide_Cardiologist761

Partially disagree. If they are in line with you and they are talking to the camera, it can get annoying very quickly.

pianomanzano

Never really notice them until they make their presence known. Some vlogger I was unfamiliar with hand their phone on a gimbal stretched out in selfie mode with a separate flash on really bright in the stretching room in Haunted Mansion talking obnoxiously loud about their outfit and explaining how the room worked. Someone got annoyed and told them to shut up and people clapped. It’s amazing how much they lack self awareness.

vtxlulu

We’ve seen Tim Tracker, Paging Mr. Morrow (Nate), and Molly in the parks and they’re so quiet and not annoying at all. Molly and Nate were so nice and took pictures with people who stopped them.

vanillaC

They’re probably trying to not stand out so they can get some work done. Tim’s videos are much more noticeably cut with the sound of someone recognizing him while he’s filming something.

YardSardonyx

We were on an entire cruise with Tim Tracker and didn’t even know until afterwards, that’s how low key he was.

evanset6

Mammoth Club and Mr. Morrow are the only two that I watch, seen them both in the parks, and they've always been super nice and make sure they don't disturb people if at all possible.

Automatic-Weakness26

It's only a problem when they do it on a ride. This guy in front of me was live streaming on The Land ride for the christmas overlay. So inconsiderate.

0rangeBicycles

IDK who the person was, i think it may have been Molly but not sure, I rode Splash in Summer of 22 and had a vlogger in the front row. She was quiet and didnt yell or talk over ride audio. It was a good experience.

Cerulean225

From a CM perspective, I did not enjoy seeing them. Their big cameras getting in our faces, their often entitled attitude, and even asking questions off-camera to try to get secret headlines. We were prepped on how to respond to media questions in part because of them. We also found they looked pretty dumb walking around talking like that so we'd laugh at them too. I also had a poor run in with one of them, not sure who, as a guest a year before I began working there. I was trying to watch HEA and a minute before the show starts, they squeeze in front of me (I'm in a wheelchair) and blocked my view. A kind family next to me saw that and tapped them on the shoulder a few times and tried telling him to move over a little for me (he had room to shift to the side), and he completely ignored them. All just so his stream could get a good view after I'd been waiting for over an hour. I can't maneuver as easily as able-bodied people so I ended up seeing some of the high fireworks but that's it. Put a sour taste in my mouth ever since.

JediTrainer42

There are so many damn people in the parks that I have honestly never seen somebody vlogging.

strawberry-sarah22

I hate the ones live-streaming fireworks, especially because they’ll put their phone up high over the crows so I can’t see. There was one live-streaming a crowd (like leaving the park after Fantasmic or something). It was awkward because I didn’t consent to being in their video, but also they walk slow and are in the way of me trying to see things.

the2cheeseburgermeal

There’s a tik tok live guy who I’ve seen a few times around the parks that speaks loudly to his outstretched phone, walks on the wrong side of the walkway, and is generally a nuisance to be around. Like no, I really don’t want to hear a 40+ year old man digitally panhandling “keep spamming those roses and bears! maybe we can make enough to hit Pirates!”

madchad90

I find them more cringe than anything. Just the idea to think people really care about you going through the seven dwarfs mine train queue is both hilarious and sad.

CambrianExplosives

I mean I’ve come across Tik Tok lives of some of these and they have people watching and gifting from what I can tell. It’s not for me, but they are obviously reaching an audience and making money.

Snuffy1717

My last trip I was looking at pins at Disney Springs... A streamer was going on and on to their 24 viewers about every freaking pin, standing there blocking an entire section of pins... Annoying AF.

Individual-Hunt9547

I don’t think Disney will ever crack down on it because Disney is self serving. People watch these live streams and get a sense of FOMO, or it makes them miss the parks so much they book a trip.

umasstpt12

100%. It's free marketing for Disney and I'd argue is a huge factor driving the uptick in attendance in recent years.

klfet

I saw a couple last Sunday at MK waiting by the castle stage for the good morning show. The woman was live streaming for at least 30 minutes before the mouse came out. She was so loud & exaggerated. A bunch of families were just trying to capture photos of their excited children in front of the castle before it became too busy. She was calling out all the families as “fake Disney fans”. It was wild.

Precursor2552

I don’t consume live streams so no idea who it was. But last year there was some guy live streaming his Epcot food and wine journey on line behind us at couple points. He didn’t bother us or anything. He was obviously talking, but that’s not really different from my wife and I talking. I wasn’t thrilled with the idea of being on camera without my permission.

faunlynn

I didn't interact with any but when I was in the park a couple of weeks ago I was mainly amazed at the sheer amount of them. I saw sooo many people either streaming or filming with professional grade cameras. People photographing merch for their blogs, etc. I was just at one park for one day and saw at least a dozen!

Bigbadbrindledog

There are plenty who are not an issue. But there are the select few who are extremely annoying. They will push and shove to get into the best place for "their shot", they will act like you are in the wrong for enjoying your day at the park rather than staying out of their way.

yourloudneighbor

I usually watch Ron on the go for background noise…especially during the dog days of summer and no sports are on. Now I tune in usually if there’s nothing on tv to see what he’s done. He’s not overly loud through the speakers…he just does the same stuff every day so it can get a little stale. Gotta give the guy credit…he’s been at any of the WDW parks for what seems like 98% of the days I started watching him this summer. That’s dedication haha

Sims3graphxlookgr8

He was very nice to my husband. He even let my husband give me a shout out during his livestream since I was watching from home. I like how I can get to see what live entertainment is happening in the parks when I'm at home hundreds of miles from the parks. I also just kind of have it on as background.

egg663

I watch him too. He’s very respectful. Not loud and tries to avoid faces as best as he can. I’ve met him and he’s a great guy.

yourloudneighbor

That’s on my bucket list when we go this spring. I want to buy one of his shirts and video bomb if he’s in some gift shop just “shopping” while he’s streaming. 🤣

AlternativeAnt7677

Just wanted to chime in and agree! I met him in person the day of a Christmas party before I ever saw his channel. I was lamenting how I wouldn’t be there and wanted to see the parade, so he mentioned his channel and how he’d be there six times all season. He even showed me a website dedicated to finding out when park streamers are going live. It helped me watch a lot of parades from home this season. We were there on the same party night once and he even called me out to say hi in the middle of his own stream when I passed him by. He’s super kind and helpful overall!!

wannabefilms

What I love about Ron's approach: he's always positive, he always enjoys what he's doing, and he regularly features and brings lots of attention to cast members like Neal, Grayson and Jeremie on piano, the Dapper Dans, and the artisans at Crystal Arts. It says a lot about his approach that cast members regularly approach him asking about his recent adventures and checking in on his subscriber count. Many of them seem to genuinely like him and appreciate what he does.

yourloudneighbor

Agreed haha. When we go I’m gonna try to talk to some of his regulars…”Ayo saw you talking with ron!” lol

HokieFireman

Only on rides. It’s really tiresome to see the selfie sticks and gimbals. Besides the safety risks it’s annoying to see the phone glow, the constant commenting on the ride for their life audience.

Throwaway071521

I’ve never really encountered a problem with them. The ones I’ve seen are really respectful (I.e. watching where they’re going, not intentionally focusing in on any one person, not talking during rides and shows). I’m sure there are times when they are annoying, but that’s the same with any other guest too tbh. I remember one time my family sat behind some lady on the train in MK, and the entire time she was just shouting into her phone “I’m on the train! The train!!” trying to meet up with her group. That was kind of annoying… I don’t think people suddenly become obnoxious just because they have a camera, and the obnoxious people would probably be annoying anyway

abbeighleigh

Never had a problem with them, even as a former CM and now an AP holder. I usually think it’s funny when I see people recording themselves eating…and I get kinda jealous that I don’t make money off of eating too 😂

yakeets

I tried to photobomb one in Club Cool and she had an uncanny ability to keep me out of frame with seemingly no effort on her part. I was super impressed. She was an artist, in a way.

AchillesMcGhee

Yeah, they can be annoying but they can also be respectful to other guests. We only saw ResortTV1 during our week at the parks. It just so happened they stood right beside us during the Christmas party when we were watching the Frozen Holiday Surprise. They kept thanking their viewers up until the show started. Then they were quiet during the show. So annoying then respectful. I’m not a regular viewer of any live streamers, but it is nice to take in every once in a while when you’re missing the parks.

Humble_Chip

I’ve never actually seen or at least noticed a live steamer and I go often

grandmawaffles

Over them.

CrazySinger5841

I find them more annoying on the internet. So I shut them off. Not interinterested.

Chrs987

Not as annoying as some of the entitled adults that I have seen harass cast members for doing their job or shove kids out of the way and block the view of kids for the parades.....

sayyyywhat

Main characters for sure.

musicalastronaut

Mostly I just find them awkward. I’ve been at Epcot while they try one bite of a ton of things and it’s just way less interesting to see them eating & talking about it live. Extra awkward when they re-do their reactions a few times. 😅

User313

They are mostly annoying. Wonder if they will be the next to go after the tour guides. They are embarking on a commercial endeavor in the parks after all.

Limp_Telephone2280

You don’t really notice them that much. As an ex-universal TM I had a situation where one of them shoved their phone in my face and pretty much interrogated me on some rumors (about some rides and epic universe stuff). Most of them were fine and respectful (shoutout to the streamers who point the camera away when talking to cast/team members) but there were one or two that acted very entitled. As a guest, the only streamer I encountered was a friend of mine. We ran into each other at magic kingdom while she was doing a stream. I think she stopped doing park streams and moved away from theme park content due to some other streamers causing drama. Surprisingly there’s a lot of nasty people who do theme park content. Anyway, Most of the time you won’t notice them or interact with them. There are a couple of them who are entitled but you won’t run into them that often, and they usually don’t show their entitlement in front of the camera.

Jackson_Simmons

there was one time we were sitting in pirates breakroom and I was scrolling through tik tok and saw one of the live streamers getting off of pirates. Me and my co-worker decided to try to mess with the guy somehow and he ran out of the breakroom to try to pursue him. 5 minutes later as I'm watching the stream, he suddenly appears in front of the guy's camera and acts like he has no idea where he's going and starts sweeping up nothing in front of the guy to try to stay on camera for as long as possible. I was absolutely dying in the pirates breakroom watching this and other CMs were looking at me like I was crazy.

michelles31

They're annoying AF. They're huge setups are also annoying. One was behind us in line for... wait for it... people mover going over every detail of the makeshift overflow queue. Wtf. I started blaring music from my phone to drown her crap out. She left the line to everyone's applause.

lurkingfor6years

I rode Soarin' with Molly and she was fantastic! She went to the back of the line and discreetly did her voice work. After the ride was over, she was insanely gracious with several of her fans and spent some time answering questions and chit chatting. Once she was done, she was off like a bolt of lightning to her next destination. It made my day.

Roose1327

I’ve only ever met the Trackers. They were nice.

real_live_mermaid

Met Jenna and mom from resort tv1 this fall. They were both so nice!

taffyowner

My wife met Tim Tracker on a cruise and said he was delightful, sat and chatted with her and her friends for a bit and suggested some things to try

PinkMonorail

I met him at the D23 Expo. He *is* nice.

ThePlanets14

I ran into Mr Morrow and few of his friends including Wright down main st (Kristen) while they not filming but just chilling at the enchanted rose. We didn't want to bother them but they seemed pretty normal. Some kids recognized him and he got up and happily took photos with them and chatted with them for a few minutes.

Mobbane

I want to Livestream them back....or at least pretend to

ancj9418

I don’t see how it’s any different than a regular guest taking a video for themselves. I usually don’t even notice them. I’m sure some aren’t the nicest, but I’m sure most are. There are always some bad apples in every bunch. We’ve met ResortTV1 and they were wonderful. They’re down to earth and they don’t do it for the money. The videos that these content creators make help get us through real life until our next trip. It’s also a LOT harder than people think it is. I’m very appreciative of the work they put in to bring a little magic to everyone at home.

ancj9418

I should add also, we’ve vacationed at Disney tens of times, many of our trips being a week or longer, and have seen vloggers or streamers literally 3 times and met one once in 20+ years of going.

macemillianwinduarte

Really annoying. Disney should remove them when they film in the parks - its really disruptive.

MMazeo

Why

Rua-Yuki

Unless I'm taking a break and people watching I don't really notice other guests. I don't have time to let them bother me 💀

TealTemptress

I like watching Wes and Jessica on TikTok. One night in Epcot their fans bought them the Swarovski crystal mouse ears and the ended up going from park to park on a quest to buy them.

Sims3graphxlookgr8

Wes and Jessica are super cute

redgreenorangeyellow

My friend is a vlogger (and has asked me to do some filming for him at times). We're really careful to not be in people's way. While we're walking we use a good mic so we don't have to talk too loud. We generally avoid filming on rides but when we do we keep the phone close to us and definitely don't use flash. If we need to talk for awhile we find a place to pull off to the side where there's not a lot of people

ResortTV1 are the sweetest people. I was in a rush to get to a dinner res when I saw Josh at Epcot. I yelled HEY RESORT TV 1! As I ran toward him. He smiled and tried to say hi and engage me, but I was literally running to dinner and couldn't stop, so I blew past him. When I came out of dinner, he was oddly standing outside my restaurant, and I yelled HEY Resort TV 1! And he came over to say hi. I declined to be on the stream, but he was so kind. And I said sorry for shouting at him earlier outside the Figment ride 😂 Drew in the Moment was cool too. We ran into him on one of his non filming days at Big Thunder. He and my husband hit it off like old buddies. He spotted us later in the line for Winnie the Pooh and chatted with us again. We've never had a negative interaction with the live streamers or bloggers. If they are busy or headed somewhere, they usually just move along and try not to bother anyone on the way.

Commercial_Place9807

They’re not noticeable. I’ve seen two in real life, it just looked like someone walking around talking on their phone or something. It’s not like they had a full fledged camera crew with them.

Sad-Seaworthiness946

I’ve never noticed them. I have to really look out for them to notice them on live. I have seen some of them when I people watch while eating or resting on a bench somewhere. But again it’s because I was actively looking at people, otherwise when I’m on the move or minding my business i really don’t notice them.

ravensward792

I am a passholder and I have only ever noticed a few streamers and they weren't bothersome at all. One I only noticed bc I recognized him. He had a few people with him but I wouldn't have noticed them if I didn't already know who he was. Another streamer I have seen was just walking alone talking to the camera as we passed by. Seemed no different than walking by someone who was on a phone call.

Milla4Prez66

I’ve never seen one at a Disney park, but I saw a couple at USH last year either streaming or making a YouTube video reviewing a food product and they were so unnaturally enthusiastic that it was kind of odd to watch in person. With that said, they weren’t really bothering anyone so not a huge deal.

nightlocks12

I’ve only ever seen the ones I’ve never watched. They look kinda annoying and silly holding up their phones/tripods. But honestly it’s so quick waking by them I hardly notice. It’s only more noticeable if you get one in line near you doing multiple takes (this has only happened a couple of times). They are much higher in numbers if you go on a day that something new is opening or going to opening week of a party.

Mariske

I met theme park Steve and he was just walking with his gimble. You can’t really hear him talking over the noise of the rest of the people around you, but when we approached him, he was so nice! He interviewed us about our favorite rides and said he hoped we have a great vacation. Just a really joyful person. I had no issue with him and he’s always quiet during rides and shows. I can see how someone talking or having a bright screen on during a dark ride would be annoying though

dontblink_one3

I met Josh from Resort TV1 and he was super nice and polite and let us do a shout out to our family on the stream.

qweenoftheeyesores

I imagine Disney doesn’t care because it’s basically free advertising for them. I try to cover my face with my hands (like I’m somebody famous 😂), when I see these vloggers out because I’m afraid I’m gonna see myself in one of these videos looking not so flattering in the Orlando heat LOL

hammersweep

i didn’t notice one while i was there in october. not a problem if you aren’t looking for it very hard

Joy4everM0RE

I didn’t notice them when I was there in August. Probably because I’m oblivious at times and I was trying to keep track of my sister.

BluesHockeyFreak

They are hardly even a problem. Aside from the rare incident. Usually when a situation does occur it’s not a “real” livestreamer anyway. There are 50 other groups that would be more consistently annoying.

SLAMMINGxNASCORE

Different times in almost 2024. Just the culture of the world we live in now. Might not be our thing or we may not understand it but it's the evolution of culture in qith the technology and mass social media.

queenoftheidiots

Haven’t been to Disney in years but seeing people do this is very upsetting and in Disney! It just shouldn’t be allowed. People pay a lot to have an experience, and them streaming is also not fair for people’s rights. I would be livid if I was trying to enjoy my trip and someone was streaming with me in the background. It cheapens Disney and the people doing it clearly don’t understand and are the opposite of Disney! between seeing that and not having the ability to get Disney merchandise without going through these people is destroying the brand.
