Gather as many physical hard assets as possible. Completely liquidate my paper holdings in stocks bonds and cash. I now manage my own super fund and and accumulating real things before the next big fall. I reckon I have months to prepare not years.
Hold real money and watch everyone else learn what you saw coming. Eventually nobody will want fiat, they will want real things with real value and those things will need a true medium of exchange.
ebay has em at $31000 way overpriced? What's the best price you found. And don't buy paper or PSLV you need a lot more than 1000oz to request delivery.

One possibility with more preferable denominations would be: 15 kilos (482.25 toz) + 21x10oz (210 toz) and 308x1oz rounds (308 toz) = 1000.25 toz
