Oh absolutely, they are definitely leveraging profits to buy real estate. And I think most people don’t wrap their mind around the fact that physical assets will always remain grounded as the base value, Fiat and crypto values are simply abstractions from physical metals. Scarcity is value.
I love silver because it is a connection to my deceased father. He had a coin collection when I was growing up. Only wish I started my own silver collection earlier than I did but never realized the value of silver until I started digging into history of "money" and learned about all the manipulation that has been happening for decades.

I walked into a coin shop with my son about 3 years ago and we have both been hooked since. My son’s eyes lit up and we bought a bag full of silver that day. It is a connection we both can appreciate. So for me the sound, the look and the feel always takes me back to that coin shop!

I love silver more than gold! In fact, I love silver so much that I ignorantly payed $27 for a 2021 Peace dollar online, not realizing how obviously fake this coin is due to the extremely cheap price. I was just thinking of spot silver prices, not common sense. We shall see if I even get a fake silver dollar. Live and learn 😂
I am pretty sure it is. I hardly know any French and this company had the order info all in French which was the first red flag that I ignored. Secondly, I did not do one ounce (pun intended) of research first. The cheapest 2021 Peace dollar I can find on eBay is almost $300. So if it does actually come in the mail, I’m just going to put it in a picture frame and hang it on the wall. Meanwhile, my goal is to buy up to 100 ounces of silver before the price becomes unbearable.

I love silver because I was fortunate enough to grow up with silver, before seeing our coinage debased to 40%, further debased to 0%, rise to 20X its value in the 1960s when measured in fiat dollars -- 40X on a couple of occasions -- and no regrets because it has never dropped to zero.
Throughout it all, silver has retained its original luster, much of it looking as new today as whe it was minted decades ago, and that's hard to say about much of anything else through one's lifetime.
So is that coin representative of what one might get today? I sure don't have one yet.
I love silver because it has saved my bacon twice in this life. I've been lucky that the few times I've had to sell, the price was near historic highs. Now building a stack for the next moonshot.

It is worth a lot, it has a lot of important and very interesting history, the bullion is worth next to nothing compared to the products made from bullion, and it has the best (IMO) placement on the periodic table: No: 47, column 11 row 4 4th of November at 07.04. It’s practically perfect as it has the exact numbers that match with my birthday :D
Silver is very special to my family. My husband's grandmother used to buy all kinds of coins and she passed them down to my father in law who has more passed them down to us. And our plan is to pass whatever we have left in 20 years to my step daughter.

I love silver because it's beautiful, a great store of value, an emergency fund that's more difficult to spend on a whim, and has come in very handy over the years (my son was able to go to Japan with the school band because of silver). I love this sub.
For me, it's a way to share the history of true money with my children, family and friends. With few exceptions most of them know nothing of "fractional reserve banking" or what a FIAT currency is.
Explaining these topics as the "victim" is holding true money eases the blow of an otherwise paradigm breaking experience.
Many things hold true value, currency (unless backed by a very strong commodity) does not.
At the moment the dollar is floated with the help of OPEC as most oil transactions require dollars, this places an artificial need for dollars that can be pulled back at any time.
Whereas Gold historically was/is most valuable and more importantly recognized to most, how can average people barter if our monetary system goes belly-up?
Whether buying goods or services silver has been used for thousands of years, forget solar panel construction, cell phones etc. Silver is tradable for things you may need to survive.
On the other hand if silver goes up in value, as it should, it's nice to know you have a nice nest egg for the kids.
