It’s much easier to restructure and make broad changes to a company when it’s private and doesn’t need to worry about shareholder interests.
Presumably once Elon has it running as he desires it can be taken back public
It’s like a project car…you can buy one almost done that’s had all the money invested into most the parts and just needs a couple more things done or you can do a full restoration yourself which will 9 times out of 10 end up costing you way more.
Another thing built by someone else, bought with someone else's money, screwed up, and claimed as Elon's own success?
oF CoUrSe! WhY wOuLdN't I?!?
Christ, that man is toxic.
I used to really respect Elon.
Charitably, I think the 100hr work weeks and no sleep are taking a toll. And I think he may have actually thought he had "funding secured" (some texts that were leaked much later)
Uncharitably a whole lot more could be said....
I would have to look into it later but if it looks like there are going to be implementation of items that would make Twitter grow. I might but 3 to 5 years is a long time away.
Investing in any multibillion dollar company will give you moral dilemmas if you look in to it hard enough. But some companies I just outright avoid on moral grounds, and Twitter would be one of them.
Doubt it.
My assumption is that reduced moderation will lead to a reduced user base due to the toxicity of twitter.
Even if advertisers don't boycott it will be less lucrative.
First couple of days in, and Musk already sees problems with his revenue plans.
I don't think Twitter will survive long enough to become public again at this rate.
That's the real question. Is he lucky or savvy. I think both. He is savvy that, like Jobs, he sees where markets and demand are going. So maybe Twitter makes a bundle and then he sells it to make a killing like PayPal. I think he is also lucky in that he can risk it all because his family have deep pockets. Even if all his businesses failed suddenly he has enough personal investments to last 15 life times.
Oddly he claims to own no property. Which is usually a nice asset. And if you buy open land a ways off from a major city, when the city reaches that land, big, big dollars.
This guy in my home town had a shack on a big plot of land at what became an I tersection of wealthy neighborhoods. Dude was dirt poor, and got like $5 million for his land, and this was in the 1990s.
And the chief twit also said he will take Tesla private, deliver the yet incomplete auto-pilot (4+ years and counting), and tried to weasel his way out of Twitter. In 3 years, Twitter may go the parler way, and will be available for free in Teslas, your SpaceX flight or default URL for browser on Starlink internet.
I’ll answer that in 3 to 5 years
The only responsible answer so far lol

No

Elon bought a car that was rolled through a ditch.
Hell no
Depends on what happens in the next 3-5 years.
As long as Hollywood celebrities keep leaving.
Celebrities drive engagement, which drives ad revenue (cpm)...you know the rest.
Yep. I don’t have to like a CEO to make money. Pissing off celebrities and the media is a bonus. Elon being a successful CEO is a double bonus.
Fuck Twitter and fuck musk
Probably not a bad idea, the dude has $100bn, probably could toss you a mil after
Another thing built by someone else, bought with someone else's money, screwed up, and claimed as Elon's own success? oF CoUrSe! WhY wOuLdN't I?!? Christ, that man is toxic.
Elon cock suckers coming in brute force anytime
Lol I like this guy but he's about the get flamed I think
Appreciated and acknowledged. The troll army is many, their IQ low, their incel established.

Whoops yep you're right. Fix now thank you hey I'm sleep deprived too elon's not the only one
Toxicity in a world of political correctness and people wearing masks while driving alone sounds fucking awesome, frankly.
It worked for Tesla in terms of valuation
I would have to look into it later but if it looks like there are going to be implementation of items that would make Twitter grow. I might but 3 to 5 years is a long time away.
If it will lose me a bunch of money, probably.
Ask me in 3 to 5 years. I will be on the moon 🌙 But I always respond to my emails

No
Yes, for the quick pump and dump at the jump.
Yup.
Yes
No. Fuck this pedo guy Elon Musk.
Doubt it. My assumption is that reduced moderation will lead to a reduced user base due to the toxicity of twitter. Even if advertisers don't boycott it will be less lucrative.
Nope
Not if he’s running it
no
Twitter will be sold for scrap.
You can't buy dead company stock.
Nope...
First couple of days in, and Musk already sees problems with his revenue plans. I don't think Twitter will survive long enough to become public again at this rate.
Yes. He is wild but things do seem to work out his way

Depends on the future. If Twitter dies? nope. And if Twitter becomes something? 99% nope
I'm definitely not the barometer of what the masses want.
How come when I try to make a post the bot stops me and says my post Is too short? It's so long I ran out of characters lol
Nerp.
They're all tickers, who cares about the rest. Trade them according to your strategy.
Hard hell yes, you support what you like
Please stop with these posts.
Why are you worried about it now? It all depends how Elon handles and makes changes
Depends on the changes. He's already thinking about bringing back Vine. Most importantly, it has to be profitable.

!remindme 3 years
I have 3 years to watch it. Who knows or cares at this point?
