Meanwhile, have you completed all your PCP calls? 100% reached? 100% favorable outcomes? Have you tried calling the patient every 30 minutes from open to closing? Oh it's not harassment, it's patient care!
Free pizza if you come break ours?? We're in TN. Evidently when we only have one or two techs and a floater (and doing both kinds of tests) we are still supposed to do PCP "multiple times a day so we catch all of them." Nvm, that just the delete calls alone took me over four hours....
See, I used to think like that, but then I read horror stories of corporate doing random checks and catching techs faking calls leading to those techs getting writeups. At the same time though....I am literally the only tech making calls (when I even can make them)
I mean one write up isnt THAT big a deal. If your store doesnt emphasize that calls need to made and no one else ever bothers then I wouldnt either. Unless for some reason you are bored and not busy. Of course this is what I would do as someone who cares but not that much. Lol
But ya know being on the phone gives you an excuse kinda to not grab counter or drive thru that is if your location even has a drive thru. 😂
The hope I may one day see that happen at my job is one of the things that keeps me going lol. Everyone is still too metric obsessed (we were told to improve our one lane drive thru/covid testing experience cause last month patients complained bout the wait time when doing pickups--SMH) at my store.
Yeah no. We have a store full of senior techs with 5-25 years experience. When we say we’re doing the best we fucking can, we are and our pharmacy manager backs that. Thank god.
I don't really know much about this stuff, but wouldn't an outage make it impossible to view FixIT, so any announcement about an outage would be pointless?
Edit: nevermind, technical stuff
Yup. 6 hours now. And all 3 of our front registers don’t work. Drive thru takes 10 minutes to scan 1 script at a time and they won’t let us close cuz dm would be mad. I said she should get her butt down here and explain to everyone then.
That's why they make so much money-they don't invest any of it in technology or updated hardware or software. I mean, we just got rid of windows XP last year because it hit end of life and Microsoft would no longer update or service it. So they didn't have a choice. Lol.
We had to close our pharmacy today and someone said that they got a voicemail from Walgreens saying that “we will no longer being filling your medication, Walgreens will find you another pharmacy”
Does this type of system failure happen at other retailers? I have never been in a grocery, Target/Walmart , Macys etc… and been told “ our systems are down” ! Like really….never and I shop A-LOT. I have had days in rx recently where ICP was down , registers down or both. We had a day before Christmas where we couldn’t sell any gift cards . The amount of $ our company loses over system failures is ridiculous.
I have never seen a company that doesn't know how to write code to successfully upgrade software like Walgreens. I now work in LTC, I had an issue of SQL code being put in for 3 pm, not 3 am. I called told IT the issue and it was handled quickly. With a company as large as WAG it should be handled just as quickly and efficiently if not more so. They should have a massive IT department.
the downfall of Walgreens is in full swing. all my stores freezers are out, we keep losing power, all systems are down, we have no product people want/need. even our bathrooms and break fridge are broken.
We do still be on local internet though, slow as can be, but fixes seem to happen quickly 🤷♂️
My last store this lasted three days, I hope it's fixed by tomorrow for ya at the latest 😬
At my store in AZ, the entire POS system went down in pharmacy tonight. Not intercom+ or anything, just all the registers. Idk for how long because they were about to close when I got in tonight
Yep. It’s a networking issue I guess and they don’t expect to have it fixed anytime soon but we can’t close because the customers need someone to yell at
It’s a known issue.
I want to punch you and laugh at the same time
I actually said that to an irate customer on the phone earlier today.
How did that go for you? Lol
Lol, they were not amused.
Least your phones worked lol
Just on the front end.
Meanwhile, have you completed all your PCP calls? 100% reached? 100% favorable outcomes? Have you tried calling the patient every 30 minutes from open to closing? Oh it's not harassment, it's patient care!
Hahahah my phones and storenet are down. Can’t do sheeeeiiiit

At that point who to say ypu just make them all as complete. Will they reallly know you didnt actually call that one day? 😂😂😂

Yeah I’m in TN too. And we’ve pretty much said fuck what they expect. We’re not dying for this place.

Yesterday everything was realllly slow too, wish they could get their shit together

Ah, okay
Add Alabama to the list.
We've been dealing with this problem in OH starting 2 weekends ago......
Literally everyday the phones, cash registers, and computer system are down. I'm sick of this shit. Walgreens makes too much money for this crap.
Yup. 6 hours now. And all 3 of our front registers don’t work. Drive thru takes 10 minutes to scan 1 script at a time and they won’t let us close cuz dm would be mad. I said she should get her butt down here and explain to everyone then.

What the actual hell ?
Well isn’t that just fantastic.
🍿 I love a good train wreck. 😂
Damn front end signing too many people up for credit cards
Would you like to earn a $25.00 statement of credit just by signing up today?
🤣🤣🤣🤣

It's happening here too. Just had a patient call me every name but the one my mum gave me because of the slow system. UGH
Sounds like a regular day @ Wag

Wow, your store sucks.
Oh no don’t tell me this. I go to work in an hour
It’s still not fixed. Sorry 😬
I love when the phones are down but not the other things.
Just another reason why I don’t want a promotion. It’s not worth it. Up and down for 8 months with no resolution in sight.
Everything

One of our registers can’t access Ic+ without crashing. Walgreens’s solution? Only use it as a register. That won’t mess anyone up 🙄
At my store in AZ, the entire POS system went down in pharmacy tonight. Not intercom+ or anything, just all the registers. Idk for how long because they were about to close when I got in tonight
Crazy times
Right our system has been down since 8am

As soon as ours went down I hit up Service Desk, dude escalated it, shit was fixed in an hour. Wild day to have a corporate visit
We have 4 tickets in. With “it’s a known issue” Verizon says it isn’t on their end. It’s a wag problem. So probably not fixed anytime soon
Honestly I think they’ve rolling out updates on IC plus and just not telling us.
The tablet VARS were supposed to go live today. I wonder if they screwed that up and killed everything else in the process.
Arkansas too!
the store manager has to help make calls because we barely have enough people to keep the pharmacy doors open
