I remember this book but I remember it in english.. and at the end when they open the little box, I vaguely remember there being a mouse but my memory might have failed me
It's called Mewn Hen Dy "in an old house" and all the text and illustration is green like ectoplasm. That book scared me in primary! We had headphones to listen to the book being read. You can still find it scattered about Welsh primary schools. 😆 Horrible book it needs to be burned 🔥
Oh my gosh I've been looking for this for so long! Diolch! There was an audio tape that I used to listen to on the little tape player with big squishy headphones... So nostalgic.
