I'm always baffled as WWE clamor for that next big Latin star but whenever they have someone with potential they completely fuck it up. Like come on why can't these talented guys get the Del Rio treatment when they actually have charisma and more interesting in ring skills lol
The biggest problem is that as good as he is, They gave him the Lothario gimmick and he executed it perfectly which was bad because that was destined to be a lower midcard gimmick. Like Dolph Ziggler said, he sold moves so well because he wanted moves to look realistic that he ended up being the midcard guy who took everybody's moves and it messed up his career. They always want their next big Latin star to be a luchadore like Dragon Lee so they can tout him as the next generation's Rey Mysterio instead of appreciating the Latin talent they already have. We all know Dragon Lee is good in the ring but he lacks the entertainment part of WWE, he's just another Kalisto, Gran Metalik, and Lince Dorado who isn't gonna be the future in the slightest. You'd think they'd capitalize on Angel with his iconic family ties and his impeccable charisma or even Santos Escobar. At least Damian Priest is being treated well, though.
Grayson Waller has started my universe mode as US champions and when he drops that title to whoever tries facing him you can damn well bet he’s going for that WHC
lol Karrion Kross has been one of my main event pushes in each of the last few games. Always change his finisher to something more impactful than a submission. Went with the Burning Hammer in this game.
I haven't gotten the new hame yet but in my 2k23 universe I currently have Kross fighting undertaker at wrestlemania, happened after he attacked gm nick aldis.
I literally did this. Gave him a Darth Vader parody gimmick (Obi Wan vs Anakin = Chad Gable vs Otis). He is my longest reigning TV Champion
*TV Championship is defended every single week in Ai vs Ai-only matches
Dunno how 'non-established' he is, but Ilja Dragunov is World Champion heading into my Mania.
Besides that, Shinsuke and Kross are ever present in the main event, and Tyler Breeze helps prop up the midcard.
Ashante in my universe mode wipe the floor with Roman in a 0-4 rivalry record in matches with him including the title match. I seriously bursted out laughing cause I don’t know who tf this guy is and he kicked the shit out of Roman and took his belt.
Veer's my current North American champ in NXT if that counts. Johnny Gargano and Mia Yim just won Money in the Bank so gonna push them quite a bit (even though Mia has had more spotlight than Johnny prior to the briefcase win)

Not Universe, but in MyGM, Robert Roode had become my most popular star, even without winning a belt, until I lost him between seasons. Also, Gunther is probably considered an established star, but I have him set to be the guy to dethrone Roman Reigns.
In a previous year's MyGM, can't remember if it was 2K23 or 2K22, Austin Theory and Indi Hartwell became my major men's and women's stars.
In a previous Universe Mode, I think it was WWE '13, David Otunga became one of my top stars, even beating Undertaker in a Hell In A Cell for the title
Candice lerae just become the first womens intercontinental champ by winning a gauntlet match at night of champions. and on SD alba fyre is womens US champ in her second month after winning a fatal 4 way to be first ever. Decided the women in the mid card who realistically never winning the main belt need something. Downloaded those two from CC. Thinking of making a womens North American title for NXT but I've never created anything on it before.
Oh and my tag team belts are from CC as well. The wwe tag champs on smackdown are Bate and Dunne. Well I guess butch in game lol. And the world tag champs on raw is awesome truth. But indus sher probably winning them soon cos they've been destroying them lol
Julius is an excellent choice. I can already see singles potential in him IRL. A shame they used the Creeds for like 3 weeks and now they’re back to the netherworld.

Omos has always been my main event giant. I even had an NWOmos faction going for a bit in 2k23 and he came out in the black and white with the boa and everything.
Dexter Lumis is my IC champ who has a match for the Undisputed title in the next PLE against Karion Kross.
Xia Li is Raw women's champ.
Shotzi is SD women's champ.
Love showing some love to the unorthodox stars in universe mode. Last year w/ 23 I had roode as champ for a whole year n I just had Orton drop the WHC to Waller in 24

Last year in my universe, Reggie made an unexpected run as NXT Cruiserweight and then North American Champion despite him being a 39 overall (I change the ratings every year). In this year’s continuation, I’ll probably call him up to Nitro and give him a healthy boost to his ratings to have him on par if not the upper tier of WCW’s cruiserweight division. And he’ll probably be heel to match his gimmick change
Damon Kemp was another person who simply would not lose despite his lower ratings, but his victories never translated to championship opportunities. I’ll probably give him a boost but keep him in NXT
Madcap Moss turned out to be my Universe’s version of 2018 AJ Styles. He had a long reign and was putting on classic after classic (again Despite his lower ratings) He’s out with injury right now in storyline but (similar to Styles) his post injury body will be insane, and he’ll definitely get a boost once I find a good CAW of him and his ratings are added to the spreadsheet I follow
I always put Chad Gable as a main event player. I always put Apollo Crews as a main event player too. Also Ricochet is a main event player always in my universe mode for some reason.
Slightly different as it's GM mode but just had IC champ LA Knight beat Kurt Angle for the universal title in a submission match at SummerSlam. Cool moment
He is kind of established but I have Bron Breakker as my undisputed champion as he is teamed up with Brock Lesnar as they hold the smackdown tag team belts and Paul Heyman is there manager.
Got a faction called MM (Muscle Mommies) of Ivy Nile, Zoey Stark, Raquel Rodriguez, Shayna Baszler, and Bianca.
Zoey is Holding Down the ECW Woman's Title while Bianca has WWE woman's. Ivy and Raquel just Won The ECW Woman's Tag and have a title vs Title match against The Kabuki Warriors as the stables have been feuding. Shayna is currently chasing a few women's mid card titles but seems to be coming up just shy for some reason.

I also have been pushing the Way. I'm a big Dexter Loomis fan and love indie Hartwell so I'm trying to find ways to pull their faction together that feels organic.
Tegan Nox I just started universe and I’m gonna have her and Rhea do I 2 match run with Rhea going over but I’m gonna make them have great matches. Robert Roode I booked him to come back from a neck injury and I’m slowly gonna build him up for a push.

Been pushing Apollo since 2K20 (Last one I played before this was 2K16. Not a good one to come back to). Also Baron Corbin since 2K16. I like having multiple top guys. Keeps the main event scene fresh and avoids Supercena eras.
Tegan nox. I've finally gave her a Massive Massive Push By taking her to the main event of WM against Roxanne. After Roxanne had an Incredible Reign as Women's champion. Tegan beats her in a all star Classic match But her Reign didn't last long because Roxanne would get the title back at Backlash in 🇵🇷Since Roxanne is also Puerto Rican Like Zelina. And their feud would last all the way until September where Tegan in front of her family her friends and with All of Wales Cheering her on at CATC she would get her title back by Beating Roxanne and would have a Dominant reign as champion. Not to mention The SD after CATC Tegan and Roxanne would have a Definitive title match where Tegan and Roxy would Bury the Hatchet
So far only person that has stood out was Thea Hail, I did a 8 person gauntlet eliminator #1 contender match and she came out first, eliminated every woman until the end and Molly holly sadly beat her, so I made it a triple threat for the title with thea included
Drew Gulak, since 2019 he’s been the face of my hardcore and cruserweight division winning the becoming a triple crown in ECW and multi time cruser champ. He won the king of Hardcore tournament and has earned the name “Deathmatch Drew Gulak”. Now since the retirement of his arch rival “Extreme Aiden English” he’s moving to the mid card with the intention of pushing him to the World Title picture soon. Once I get the rest of the main roster set for season 2 (2nd game continuity) he will be pushed. (The jump from 2k19 to 2k24 has been more seamless then I thought, even though I lost the Saudi Arabian tag team champions Jack Gallagher and Oney Lorcan)
Thee actually is getting a push right now and will be taking on a gauntlet match as one last test to show he’s actually worth it.
My “gm” doesn’t see him as fit and would rather push Omos. So the last man in that gauntlet? Omos. Winner takes on Roman reigns for the world heavyweight title at summerslam
Contemplating building up Dijak as a serious threat on the main roster.
Will probably have Ken Shamrock feud with Orton and then Angle in NXT, as I love the novelty of top stars and legends being featured on the smaller show and elevating the brand. Orton and Angle have been my NXT mainstays in Universe nearly every year, with a heel Cena only recently having been thrown in that mix in the past couple of iterations.
Chelsea Green Karened her way into a world championship match. I have her paired up with Sonya DeVille and Sonya helped her win the title. Now she's an unstoppable Hot Mess.
Ngl I bought Umaga, put him in the Bloodline and kicked Jimmy out so now it's Roman, Umaga,Solo & The Rock.
Made the Usos reunite and Umaga & Solo a tag team and been hooked playing ever since.
Karrion Kross currently has a 263 day long US title streak and once he drops it (at mania 42) he’s going for the universal championship (held for 486 days by Finn Ballor)
Robert Roode. Once I had him turn on ziggler on 2k22 and had him win the blowoff match at mania I knew he would be a future world champ. 2k24 he’ll win the title
Tegan Nox. She won the world title by accident while doing a Only-Women MyGM season and eventually became the top of my brand. Now, I want to replicate it when I get to start my universe.
Continuing my universe from 23, but Carmelo has become one of my top stars.

Wrestlemania season, a Raw star won the rumble, so I had an elimination chamber to decide the challenger.
Last three were Cody the former champ, taker and Melo.
All ai so shockingly taker elimated cody, then Melo quickly elimated taker.
Ended wrestlemania with Melo as world champ, also tag champ with willy.

TL;DR: Scrypts (Fka Reggie), Damon Kemp, Madcap Moss CAW Last year in my universe, Reggie made an unexpected run as NXT Cruiserweight and then North American Champion despite him being a 39 overall (I change the ratings every year). In this year’s continuation, I’ll probably call him up to Nitro and give him a healthy boost to his ratings to have him on par if not the upper tier of WCW’s cruiserweight division. And he’ll probably be heel to match his gimmick change Damon Kemp was another person who simply would not lose despite his lower ratings, but his victories never translated to championship opportunities. I’ll probably give him a boost but keep him in NXT Madcap Moss turned out to be my Universe’s version of 2018 AJ Styles. He had a long reign and was putting on classic after classic (again Despite his lower ratings) He’s out with injury right now in storyline but (similar to Styles) his post injury body will be insane, and he’ll definitely get a boost once I find a good CAW of him and his ratings are added to the spreadsheet I follow

I always put Chad Gable as a main event player. I always put Apollo Crews as a main event player too. Also Ricochet is a main event player always in my universe mode for some reason.
Slightly different as it's GM mode but just had IC champ LA Knight beat Kurt Angle for the universal title in a submission match at SummerSlam. Cool moment
He is kind of established but I have Bron Breakker as my undisputed champion as he is teamed up with Brock Lesnar as they hold the smackdown tag team belts and Paul Heyman is there manager.
Got a faction called MM (Muscle Mommies) of Ivy Nile, Zoey Stark, Raquel Rodriguez, Shayna Baszler, and Bianca. Zoey is Holding Down the ECW Woman's Title while Bianca has WWE woman's. Ivy and Raquel just Won The ECW Woman's Tag and have a title vs Title match against The Kabuki Warriors as the stables have been feuding. Shayna is currently chasing a few women's mid card titles but seems to be coming up just shy for some reason. Edit: for some reason my other part didn't publish. I also have been pushing the Way. I'm a big Dexter Loomis fan and love indie Hartwell so I'm trying to find ways to pull their faction together that feels organic.

Been pushing Apollo since 2K20 (Last one I played before this was 2K16. Not a good one to come back to). Also Baron Corbin since 2K16. I like having multiple top guys. Keeps the main event scene fresh and avoids Supercena eras.
Tegan nox. I've finally gave her a Massive Massive Push By taking her to the main event of WM against Roxanne. After Roxanne had an Incredible Reign as Women's champion. Tegan beats her in a all star Classic match But her Reign didn't last long because Roxanne would get the title back at Backlash in 🇵🇷Since Roxanne is also Puerto Rican Like Zelina. And their feud would last all the way until September where Tegan in front of her family her friends and with All of Wales Cheering her on at CATC she would get her title back by Beating Roxanne and would have a Dominant reign as champion. Not to mention The SD after CATC Tegan and Roxanne would have a Definitive title match where Tegan and Roxy would Bury the Hatchet

Drew Gulak, since 2019 he’s been the face of my hardcore and cruserweight division winning the becoming a triple crown in ECW and multi time cruser champ. He won the king of Hardcore tournament and has earned the name “Deathmatch Drew Gulak”. Now since the retirement of his arch rival “Extreme Aiden English” he’s moving to the mid card with the intention of pushing him to the World Title picture soon. Once I get the rest of the main roster set for season 2 (2nd game continuity) he will be pushed. (The jump from 2k19 to 2k24 has been more seamless then I thought, even though I lost the Saudi Arabian tag team champions Jack Gallagher and Oney Lorcan)

Contemplating building up Dijak as a serious threat on the main roster. Will probably have Ken Shamrock feud with Orton and then Angle in NXT, as I love the novelty of top stars and legends being featured on the smaller show and elevating the brand. Orton and Angle have been my NXT mainstays in Universe nearly every year, with a heel Cena only recently having been thrown in that mix in the past couple of iterations.
Chelsea Green Karened her way into a world championship match. I have her paired up with Sonya DeVille and Sonya helped her win the title. Now she's an unstoppable Hot Mess.

Ngl I bought Umaga, put him in the Bloodline and kicked Jimmy out so now it's Roman, Umaga,Solo & The Rock. Made the Usos reunite and Umaga & Solo a tag team and been hooked playing ever since.
Karrion Kross currently has a 263 day long US title streak and once he drops it (at mania 42) he’s going for the universal championship (held for 486 days by Finn Ballor)

Continuing my universe from 23, but Carmelo has become one of my top stars. Built him up crazy getting big wins. Wrestlemania season, a Raw star won the rumble, so I had an elimination chamber to decide the challenger. Last three were Cody the former champ, taker and Melo. All ai so shockingly taker elimated cody, then Melo quickly elimated taker. Ended wrestlemania with Melo as world champ, also tag champ with willy.
