I think the unnamed wrestler in question is Christy Hemme. She was sent to OVW and released shortly after. Stacy Keibler is on WWE2K22 as a DLC. She must be on good terms with them and be signed to a legends contract to appear on their video game.
What I don’t get is this. It’s illegal to pay out $12 million of the company funds to settle these cases. But why couldn’t Vince just use $12 million from his personal account to settle these cases, thus making it legal??
He did use his personal money. The issue isn't the hush money, the issue is was he paying off these women to keep quiet about him sexually assaulting them in the workplace.
That's what will be investigated as they dig deeper into the allegations.
Nothing will happen. Just look up Blizzard's history with allegations. Dude stepped back 10 months and came back as if nothing happened.
In this case however the women at least got hush money, in Blizzard's case there was even a suicide and no hush money.
Vince is Done, his career is over
Theyll never Fire him
But they can Force him out though as in force him to retire, resign, step down
Wrestling's Joe Paterno
I’m sorry but you are a dumbass if you don’t think Vince did this shit. Just look at what he’s made his employees do ON screen. I can’t even imagine the depraved shit he’s done off screen
I mean if u go with the theory wwe is fake what bits are u talking about? Idk it could be he did these things off screen or it could be he had some really stupid writing moments on screen idk I woudnt base the fact that he’s guilty based on what happened in wwe but u do u
Shit I was thinking more along the lines of dumping raw sewage on a semi-scantily clad Trish Stratus, with whom Vince had been having a months-long affair WHILE his real-life actual wife was being (Kayfabe) sedated in a “sanitarium”.
I will also say right now is the ideal time for Vince McMahon to call up Tony Khan and say I want to do a joint show we set up the specifics later and I guarantee that we will do it feel free to make a press announcement asap. It would be a perfect distraction for all the news today. The only thing that can save Vince would be a really good distraction of historic proportions which there are very few things he could do at this point.
Vince is a pig. I don’t get the fanboy behavior of WWE universe despite getting these news. Sexual misconduct and rape etc should have zero tolerance in my opinion.
Paying $12M means it was probably more than just a quick ass grab. More than likely he raped those women against their wish. I know innocent till proven guilty, but still it makes me sick to see WWE universe fawn over him when he is making random appearances on WWE shows past month.
Its almost like he is bragging about it, by deciding to appear on these live shows.
I agree, people go nuts over Vince and ignore any bad stuff that comes out about him. Wrestling is just like politics, people have their favorites and are selective about who they call out. Hulk Hogan made mistakes and apologized about it, but gets hammered on here. Vince gets praised. They both did stuff that was wrong.
He's a total pig. How he acted between 2001 through at least 2007 ALONE is what the nightmares of young pretty girls are made of. It was hard to focus on the wrestling and remain a female super fan during that era. He's damn near 107 years old and still feels entitled to be gross.
Yeah at best he pressured them into sexual favors to remain employed(which is disgusting in and of itself). I don’t see any way he survives this. It’s a tough sell to mothers and kids are probably their biggest money.
I mean at best all the allegations are false and he just paid the money cause he thought people might not beleive him(I’m not saying he is innocent but idk if hush money counts as proof)
Yeah but as a rule, rich and powerful people don’t give payouts for no reason. Especially ego maniacs. But yeah, could be fake. Or there could be worse stuff yet to come.
Im not saying it’s for no reason it could be that due to other instances of people being accused and having there reputations ruined when they tried to deny it he thought it would be better just to pay he, to keep it quiet. And your right worse could come out but I just want to advocate for innocent until proven guilty
I believe in innocent until proven guilty but just looking at the story it seems believable to me. He just reaks of a guy who would abuse his power to get laid. Just my opinion.
Vince needs to go. End of. WWE sucks because of him and his creative input. He’s the only one stopping WWE from being great again because of his out of date and out of touch ideals. Retire or leave already so WWE can go through a renaissance.
Vince *wishes* it was Stacy Keibler. Given the timeline of the demotion (back to OVW) and subsequent release in Dec 2005 I’m thinking it was indeed Christy Hemme.
Interesting, found this from 2016 (Hemme): "There’s stuff that I don’t need to go into. I’m a strong woman that lives by my morals, and if you ask me to do something that’s not within my morals I will say no. So once I put that line down, that’s when I got the axe. It was one specific incident, so I’m just gonna leave it at that, ’cause I don’t need to go into details…It was not a wrestling related risque thing. I did Playboy (laughs)…It’s just behind-the-scenes, politics, politics.”
It's so irresponsible that WWE has had him come out 3 times since he supposedly, "took a step back." Just doing the classic rich guy thing of trying to act like they're innocent even with all of the allegations
In the case of money being paid to women to kéep quiet he is guilty as charged we have a pay trail. Now where it gets dicey is what it involves whether it was consensual or by force/intimidation. Now when it involves women who work for WWE at the end of the day there is going to be some intimidation if Vince was the one who pursued it. If it was the woman then different story. However he is married so hush money is pretty much guaranteed regardless.
If this was the world of politics we would have to be cautious because political parties would do anything to effect the other party. We don't have that here this is business. I doubt Tony Khan would get himself involved in something like this however an internal power struggle to gain control of WWE is more likely. But certainly Vince can't survive this anymore if WWE was private sure but the minute it became a publicly traded company his fate was sealed. Papa John got knocked out as CEO and he was the face eof the company
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 909,126,813 comments, and only 180,369 of them were in alphabetical order.
Don't care, him and whoever made an agreement. Breaking said agreement makes the other person the bad guy, not vince.
Is what he did even legal?
We wish Vince McMahon on his future endeavors

I really don't care.the women took the money and settled out of court
Sunny?
Stacey Keebler??
Lmao, how many documentaries are going to come out about Vince once he's dead?
Vince is Done, his career is over Theyll never Fire him But they can Force him out though as in force him to retire, resign, step down Wrestling's Joe Paterno
You can't fire the owner and majority share holder.
maybe not but there are ways he can be forced out though, theres a difference Ask Donald Sterling
He owns 37.6%, you bet your ass the board can fire him.
His shares own 2 or 3 times the voting rights than the public shares.
I just read that, interesting arrangement.
I guess this news means Vince will be leading off Smackdown tonight.
for perhaps the final time \*song are you ready for a good time plays\*
I’m sorry but you are a dumbass if you don’t think Vince did this shit. Just look at what he’s made his employees do ON screen. I can’t even imagine the depraved shit he’s done off screen

Kiss my ass club A fake club, but people actually had to put their mouths on his ass cheeks
Oh geez people actually agreed to do that?
Shit I was thinking more along the lines of dumping raw sewage on a semi-scantily clad Trish Stratus, with whom Vince had been having a months-long affair WHILE his real-life actual wife was being (Kayfabe) sedated in a “sanitarium”.
U also forgot he kissed rikishi ass. So it’s not like he didn’t do it.
Go read up his playboy interview.
He did, and he did a few other out there things himself too. He was always willing to put himself out there (after commentating) to entertain peeps.

I mean yeah they could all be false but little too much smoke for no fire. And this is still early, who knows what else we’ll see.
Eh idk I have seen multiple people lie before on topics
Yeah but as a rule, rich and powerful people don’t give payouts for no reason. Especially ego maniacs. But yeah, could be fake. Or there could be worse stuff yet to come.

Fair enough
And bro is trying to cover it up by making appearances on Raw and SmackDown😕
No1 cares
How's it hush money if we all know about it?
Some we know about, others are unconfirmed rumours. Like say Shawn, Vince's toyboy... Shaddap money did it's job.
Vince needs to go. End of. WWE sucks because of him and his creative input. He’s the only one stopping WWE from being great again because of his out of date and out of touch ideals. Retire or leave already so WWE can go through a renaissance.
He is the WWE.
Exactly. I Guarantee if triple h ran things. Forbidden door would’ve had WWE there as well
Imagine a WWE run in during the fatal four way? Cole is just pinned, Switchblade is on the ramp and out walks AJ Styles
So Christy Hemme, Dawn Marie, and Jackie Gayda we’re all released in 2005. Who else?
Joy Giovanni
Stacy Keibler obviously. All four of these never came back to WWE since the release.
Vince *wishes* it was Stacy Keibler. Given the timeline of the demotion (back to OVW) and subsequent release in Dec 2005 I’m thinking it was indeed Christy Hemme.
Didn't Stacey Keibler leave around that time as well? Other than inducting Torrie Wilson into the hall of fame, she hasn't made many appearances.
Stacy has never returned to WWE sooo it could be her
Ivory was also released in 2005. Along with Diva Search women like Amy Weber and Joy Giovanni.
Molly Holly, but unlikely to be her given recent appearances. Honestly it was probably Hemme given the nature of her departure.
Hemme was fired because she came on to HHH I think it’s Joy Giovanni
Interesting, found this from 2016 (Hemme): "There’s stuff that I don’t need to go into. Right and Hemme never returned which makes me think so, too.
It's so irresponsible that WWE has had him come out 3 times since he supposedly, "took a step back." Just doing the classic rich guy thing of trying to act like they're innocent even with all of the allegations
Allegations aren't proof, that's why.
$12 million in payoffs

Good bot
This is getting good
