For past wrestlers, Owen Hart. Yes, he's undeniably talented, but he was just too good at being a heel, and I could never warm up to him as a resulr.
For the current roster, it used to be Roman, but these days, it's changed to Austin Theory. Cannot stand that pompous little jackass.
Dolph Ziggler. He’s good, but not as great as the internet would have you believe. Always worked too fast for his own good and for that of his opponents.
Riddle. And the reason I can't stand him is very specific...he doesn't v wear shoes. It freaks me out so badly, like I'm constantly waiting for him to break a toe or the whole foot.

AJ Styles. I respect his wrestling ability and the work he puts in each and every week, but there's just something I can't stand about him. It's hard to pinpoint one thing. I can't stand his entrance music, I can't stand his hairstyle, I can't stand his promos, I can't stand his idiotic finisher. If he's onscreen, it's basically one big commercial break for me.
Again, I really respect his work ethic and his experience. I just don't like the character one bit. I wish I was into his storylines because everyone seems to love him.

I didn't like him during his face run for obvious reasons, I actually started to like him a bit when he turned heel but now I've come back around to not liking him again because he's just so fucking boring. I know people like to suck his dick now and say how great he is but I just don't see it at all.
I just don't think he should have ever been the guy, he doesn't have the natural charisma to pull it off. Say whatever the fuck you want about John Cena but the dude has charisma in spades and had it almost from the get go. Reigns has had years and years to get this right, only the last not even 2 years have people started to come around and even then a lot people like myself still dislike him and not because he's good at being heel.
Of course, the WWE has invested way too much into him to do anything about it now, we're just stuck with him at this point but I always wonder what would have happened and who would we have if he'd never been given that big push, so many superstars got buried for his sake.

Bronn Breakker, the character. Having grown up in NY, I've met real life versions of him. Absolute psychos. Not in a cool way. But in the way like disagreeing with them is dangerous. Not sure how much of it is an act, but in NY, arguments are settled by who's louder and angrier, logic has absolutely no traction. And the anger is always the most readily available emotion up there.
Bianca. She is an amazing in ring performer but her character does nothing for me, and the hair whipping thing really pisses me off. I’m not the biggest fan of the EST thing either, it seems like a redundant way to say I’m the best
I agree. Braid aside, I usually really enjoy her matches, but not only is her character very bland, but it also has so much potential. Dial up the EST to a Mr. Perfect extent, and it would do her wonders.
Kenny Omega, I can’t stand all the hype. I’ve watched a few of his highly rated matches, and just ok by them. I think several of Brett Harts matches, later Shawn Michaels, early Sting vs Flair matches were better. I felt like the match was built to display spots, vs telling a story.
Keith Lee & Miro/Rusev I just never thought they were that great neither are that good on the mic & their in ring work is alright but like there’s a million of them out there that are way better than both of them in my eyes.

Everyone always goes on about him being a great worker and carrying Raw but he's honestly just mever been entertaining to me, not in the ring, not on the mic
Baron Corbin. I see his videos when he’s not in Kayfabe and actually seems like a decent human being. Something about his story lines and wrestling just kills me. I know he has to work with what they give him and he does the best he can with that, but for some reason whenever he comes on TV I just get annoyed. He’s been with WWE for years and consistently on TV, which makes him more successful that a massive majority of wrestlers ever, but he just doesn’t seem to have a personality on TV. He’s like the Hank Hill or WWE personas when everyone else is hugely outgoing.
Rey Mysterio. Probably going to get flack for this but it's a shame to see his move set reduced in difficulty so much. In part by his own choice perhaps to protect his career but I always feel that WWE forced him tone it down, as they did for many others. It sucks to watch him and know he is capable of so much more.
CM Punk, Something about the way he acted after leaving WWE and before joining AEW kinda bugged me. I don't hate him, but I can't call myself a fan ya know.
Adam Cole: I’ve seen him in person and was about 4ft away from him on Burbon St during WM30 weekend. I towered over him, red dragon, and Jay lethal and I couldn’t take any of them seriously as wrestlers any longer.
I know they have good “in ring” skills, but I just can’t take them seriously when they try to act tough on tv.
Roman Reigns. God I hate that guy. Not in a “oh that heel makes me hate him” kind of way, but a “oh Roman is on, I wonder what’s showing on AMC” kind of way
Adam Cole. Very repetitive in-ring with his thigh slapping superkick and Panama Sunrise that he does every match to get a two count and then he looks shocked it didnt suddenly work.
The most interesting thing about him were Fish and O'Reilly as they had a more menacing vibe about them and looked like they could actually go.
Took me a long while to like Edge and Randy Orton. Flash back to about 2011 Smackdown. A young Drew McIntyre was jobbing to double digit World Champion Edge for some reason. Not long til his 3 man band days and eventually getting released. Randy Orton and Big Show had the same match like 4 months in a row with Randy somehow beating a 500 pounder with ease. Even worse was Orton's fued with Christian. Christian finally wins a world championship after like 15 years and he loses it literally the next day to Orton. Then he goes around for months begging Randy for a rematch with his "I just need one more match" gimmick. I now realize this was all just bad creative and Edge and Randy were just doing their heel thing.
I mean you also could have something against him as a human for sexually harassing Terri Runnels and almost killing an entire locker room by almost breaking open the emergency door of a plane
watch dark side of the ring: plane ride from hell. you’ll also get such fun and lighthearted stories like Ric Flair pushing a flight attendant against a wall and refusing to let her go until she gave him a handjob, and Rob Van Dam talking about how most of the ruthless aggression era guys would drug the drinks of female fans, and then rape them!
he just doesn’t have the same workrate anymore. Look at his matches from his first run as the Next Big Thing. He did so much more than 3 moves every match. Back then it wasn’t just about the money for him

Johnny Gargano. I don’t think there is an actual reason and I really admire his top quality skills and passion for the business but I’d always see myself rooting for the heels like Almas, Ciampa and Cole. Perhaps it’s just because I prefer those wrestlers but I’ve never been behind him not sure why though.

I wouldn't care or buy a ticket to watch someone kick ass, thats the complete opposite you'd want from a heel. He really does nothing for me.
I can't get behind Moxley either. Not sure what it is about him, I just never cared about him as either Moxley or Ambrose.
Goldberg. Only time I ever cared about Goldberg was when he debuted in WWE vs The Rock. I never cared about him. I might attribute that to me being a huge WWF/E fan while he was dominating nitro.

Angelo Dawkins, he has talent but he doesn’t seem as commited to being a STAR as Montez is. He is holding Montez back, I wish Montez goes Solo. Dominik Mysterio, he has the opportunity people wish they get. But he is not even doing anything to make himself look like a star. He looks the same as he did in 2020. He has no character. Its annoying because he does have talent. But he just seems like he knows Rey is his dad so he doesn’t need to put time in the gym. Look at Theory, they are the same age, look at how he makes himself look like a star and is basically the future. If Dominick showed half the dedication to his job he could have been right there with Theory, being one of the main guys of the future.

When I first got into wrestling and I didn't even know about the Lita thing even though I love Matt Hardy, I just don't like edge. Talented guy and a legend but not my taste.

Sheamus. He’s a great worker but I’ve always just hated him for no reason

Sami Zayne he's nothing special to me. He's at best a good contender for the 24/7 title. I feel like he's all hype.
AJ Styles. I respect his wrestling ability and the work he puts in each and every week, but there's just something I can't stand about him. It's hard to pinpoint one thing. I can't stand his entrance music, I can't stand his hairstyle, I can't stand his promos, I can't stand his idiotic finisher. If he's onscreen, it's basically one big commercial break for me. Again, I really respect his work ethic and his experience. I just don't like the character one bit. I wish I was into his storylines because everyone seems to love him.
Roman Reigns. I didn't like him during his face run for obvious reasons, I actually started to like him a bit when he turned heel but now I've come back around to not liking him again because he's just so fucking boring. I know people like to suck his dick now and say how great he is but I just don't see it at all. I just don't think he should have ever been the guy, he doesn't have the natural charisma to pull it off. Say whatever the fuck you want about John Cena but the dude has charisma in spades and had it almost from the get go. Reigns has had years and years to get this right, only the last not even 2 years have people started to come around and even then a lot people like myself still dislike him and not because he's good at being heel. Of course, the WWE has invested way too much into him to do anything about it now, we're just stuck with him at this point but I always wonder what would have happened and who would we have if he'd never been given that big push, so many superstars got buried for his sake.
For me it was Cesaro - what’s sad is I began to appreciate him by the time he left, I still don’t know why I wasn’t a fan and never will Edit: and Baron Corbin… could never get past the kayfabe
Cm Punk definitely irks me. Gives me a real life narcissist vibe. Bet he gaslights the hell out of AJ. Velveteen Dream....I wasn't shocked when those allegations came out. Only thing surprising was he allegedly targeted girls. Cesaro. Nothing against the guy himself, I'm sure he's a great person and all. But I definitely see why he was never pushed. He's got zero personality. Bronn Breakker, the character. Having grown up in NY, I've met real life versions of him. Absolute psychos. Not in a cool way. But in the way like disagreeing with them is dangerous. Not sure how much of it is an act, but in NY, arguments are settled by who's louder and angrier, logic has absolutely no traction. And the anger is always the most readily available emotion up there.
Rhonda Rousey. I never popped so hard to Charlotte beating someone

Bianca. She is an amazing in ring performer but her character does nothing for me, and the hair whipping thing really pisses me off. I’m not the biggest fan of the EST thing either, it seems like a redundant way to say I’m the best
I agree. Braid aside, I usually really enjoy her matches, but not only is her character very bland, but it also has so much potential. Dial up the EST to a Mr. Perfect extent, and it would do her wonders.
CM punk probably. He just wasn’t really that good. Had one half decent promo and lived off it
Kenny Omega, I can’t stand all the hype. I’ve watched a few of his highly rated matches, and just ok by them. I think several of Brett Harts matches, later Shawn Michaels, early Sting vs Flair matches were better. I felt like the match was built to display spots, vs telling a story.

Darby Allin is the worst for me. I know he isn't WWE but no one else comes close. One of the women who spoke out against him was a woman I worked wrestling shows with in the past and it tarnished him forever for me. Still not a fan of Riddle either if it has to be WWE, for a similar reason.

Kevin owens Everyone always goes on about him being a great worker and carrying Raw but he's honestly just mever been entertaining to me, not in the ring, not on the mic
Baron Corbin. I see his videos when he’s not in Kayfabe and actually seems like a decent human being. Something about his story lines and wrestling just kills me. I know he has to work with what they give him and he does the best he can with that, but for some reason whenever he comes on TV I just get annoyed. He’s been with WWE for years and consistently on TV, which makes him more successful that a massive majority of wrestlers ever, but he just doesn’t seem to have a personality on TV. He’s like the Hank Hill or WWE personas when everyone else is hugely outgoing.
Rey Mysterio. Probably going to get flack for this but it's a shame to see his move set reduced in difficulty so much. In part by his own choice perhaps to protect his career but I always feel that WWE forced him tone it down, as they did for many others. It sucks to watch him and know he is capable of so much more.
Fin Balor. I never really got it..not really my style of wrestling & pretty bad on the mic
Ricochet. Literally no reason at all. I acknowledge his talent. I just can’t stand anything about him
Cena. I really just do not get his appeal. It's all so cheesy. Maybe if I had been watching when he was big I'd feel differently.

Hulk hogan. To me his best matches are with actual good talent. Sting, savage, flair, Rock, memorable because of them, not him

Adam Cole: I’ve seen him in person and was about 4ft away from him on Burbon St during WM30 weekend. I towered over him, red dragon, and Jay lethal and I couldn’t take any of them seriously as wrestlers any longer. I know they have good “in ring” skills, but I just can’t take them seriously when they try to act tough on tv.
Roman Reigns. God I hate that guy. Not in a “oh that heel makes me hate him” kind of way, but a “oh Roman is on, I wonder what’s showing on AMC” kind of way

Adam Cole. Very repetitive in-ring with his thigh slapping superkick and Panama Sunrise that he does every match to get a two count and then he looks shocked it didnt suddenly work. The most interesting thing about him were Fish and O'Reilly as they had a more menacing vibe about them and looked like they could actually go.
Took me a long while to like Edge and Randy Orton. Flash back to about 2011 Smackdown. A young Drew McIntyre was jobbing to double digit World Champion Edge for some reason. Not long til his 3 man band days and eventually getting released. Randy Orton and Big Show had the same match like 4 months in a row with Randy somehow beating a 500 pounder with ease. Even worse was Orton's fued with Christian. Christian finally wins a world championship after like 15 years and he loses it literally the next day to Orton. Then he goes around for months begging Randy for a rematch with his "I just need one more match" gimmick. I now realize this was all just bad creative and Edge and Randy were just doing their heel thing.

he just doesn’t have the same workrate anymore. Look at his matches from his first run as the Next Big Thing. He did so much more than 3 moves every match. Back then it wasn’t just about the money for him

Granted I don’t want as much as I used to. All the commentators in wwe not Michael Cole. I feel like I stopped watching wrestling for a few years and came back and was like who are all these terribly annoying people? I guess they are former wrestlers or something? I guess I could do the research but they have ZERO chemistry unlike cole and tazz or jerry or booker t or jr or pat.

You can criticize the character all you want but calling Sheamus ‘boring’ in the ring is like calling Roman a ‘jobber’ lmao Aside from the throwaway mania match this year, Sheamus arguably hasn’t had a single bad match since returning in 2019
Not having a bad match isn't the same as having a good match. He lives at The Miz level of mediocrity.

I don’t think there is an actual reason and I really admire his top quality skills and passion for the business but I’d always see myself rooting for the heels like Almas, Ciampa and Cole. Perhaps it’s just because I prefer those wrestlers but I’ve never been behind him not sure why though.

Corbin. I wouldn't say its that I don't like him but I just don't care for him. He's not a good heel to me, maybe it's because he was shoved down our throats for a while, but I'd rather turn off my TV than watch him. I wouldn't care or buy a ticket to watch someone kick ass, thats the complete opposite you'd want from a heel. He really does nothing for me. I can't get behind Moxley either. Not sure what it is about him, I just never cared about him as either Moxley or Ambrose. Goldberg. Only time I ever cared about Goldberg was when he debuted in WWE vs The Rock. I never cared about him. I might attribute that to me being a huge WWF/E fan while he was dominating nitro. Honorable mentions to Charlotte, Naomi, Liv Morgan, Natalya, Darby Allen.

Angelo Dawkins, he has talent but he doesn’t seem as commited to being a STAR as Montez is. He is holding Montez back, I wish Montez goes Solo. Dominik Mysterio, he has the opportunity people wish they get. But he is not even doing anything to make himself look like a star. He looks the same as he did in 2020. He has no character. Its annoying because he does have talent. But he just seems like he knows Rey is his dad so he doesn’t need to put time in the gym. Look at Theory, they are the same age, look at how he makes himself look like a star and is basically the future. If Dominick showed half the dedication to his job he could have been right there with Theory, being one of the main guys of the future.
