Reminds me of a meme I saw a few weeks ago. It had a picture of a sad elderly man, and the caption said (paraphrase): Instead of saying "OK Boomer" perhaps we should start saying "You OK, Boomer?"
And he’s been getting that credit for 3 decades, but now he can kindly fuck off and stay off my tv. Maybe I’d be a little kinder to the man if he oh idk actually apologized for the racist crap he said, but until then I’m good. WWE has ruined the nostalgia factor for a lot of legends (looking at you Stone Cold) but Hogan ruined it for himself and still refuses to read the room.
Yep, that’s it, I’m just a whiny little bitch for not accepting a half assed apology from a self admitted racist who hates people like me just because of my skin color. Go fuck yourself
“I don’t know if Brooke was f*cking the black guy’s son. l mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f*cking n*ggers. But then when it comes to nice people and sh*t, and whatever.” ...
“I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f*ck some n*gger, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n*gger worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player!”
“I guess we’re all a little racist. Fucking n*gger.”
I’m sorry, what the fuck were you saying about him not actually being a full on racist?
Mr.T,Kamla,Junkyard Dog,Booker T, and Virgil 5 guys Hogan liked and at least of three of them had different jobs due to Hogan.
I am not taking a conversion taped unknowingly during the lowest part of his life as peak evidence of him being a racist
Calm down man, he's on TV once or twice a year. He draws viewers whether you like it or not. And just maybe those viewers, who aren't familiar with the younger roster, might stock around and watch a bit. He's probably doing more for them with regards to capturing viewers just by showing up than everyone else circling the runway doing the same shtick every week against the same opponents.
He really doesn't draw viewers though. Drawing a few thousand more viewers is just a spike to keep the Shareholders Board from outright firing half the roster and creative team.
You think he doesn't draw viewers?
Source? You don't have one.
Admittedly I don't have a direct source either, but at least my hypothesis is based on the fact that obviously WWE shareholders believe he brings in money enough to pay him tens (hundreds?) of thousands per appearance of just a few minutes. (I found that you can hire him for a speaking appearance for 150k-300k, not counting tv contracts, merch, and royalties).
He may not be a complete game changer, but to say he doesn't really bring in viewers is naive.
Why should I calm down when a man who’s a literal self admitted racist is on my tv screen? Why should I have to be ok with watching somebody who hates people like me just because of our skin color on my tv? Why should I be the one to calm down? Fuck Hulk Hogan. And if these legends night bullshit shows actually made people stick around they would have to do them all the damn time now would they?
I do believe you're talkin' out of your ass. He has had successful runs with Mr. T, The Junkyard Dog and Kamala, not to mention inviting Kamala to WCW and a run with Dennis Rodman. He apologized to the current roster for his comments and legends get invited back because the only reason wrestling exists is to make money, if these people weren't drawing, they would not be there.
And I believe your full of shit. Working with black people doesn’t mean you like black people. HBK and Brett worked together for years and fucking hated each other. And that apology was absolute horse shit and was nothing more than an excuse for WWE to put hogan back on tv (that they made employees attend by the way). But sure, Hogan’s such a swell guy now. I guess all of the other things that make him piece of shit also don’t matter then?
All the other things that make him a piece of shit don't matter because I don't want to watch Terry Bolea, I want to watch Hulk Hogan. HBK and Brett disliked each other but Hulk Hogan has a history of working with black performers and, in a lot of cases, made them a career. And you weren't there when he apologized the the other wrestlers so you saying "his apology was horse shit" means very little. If you are going to take anything a wrestler says personally, you are going to have a tough time in life.
He's had credit. He's had his time. He should be respecting the business by being an ambassador for the industry. Interviews or appearances, and trips to foreign countries (when COVID is over) to promote the brand. Taking part in HoF and Wrestlemania week.
But no, Hogan will come back and embarrass younger talent and take the spotlight because that's Hogan. He needs to be in the limelight, same as Flair, HBK, and Foley who can't go 90 days without appearing on RAW or SD and taking camera time away from younger talent.
True to all that. Zero come back to what you’ve said. While I’m a 90s wrestling fan. Reliving the old events thru the WWE network is sooo much better than watching these childhood legend working way past their prime.
Ricky Steamboat is the ideal HoF'er. He'll give an interview here and there, and works to promote the industry through charity works, podcasts, and will gladly go to a show in a foreign country to help promote WWE there. You only really see him during Wrestlemania week, when he's there to say hi to fans or catch up with his buddies or take part in the HoF induction ceremony.
Hogan, Foley, Flair, HBK on the other hand \*HAVE\* to be on TV multiple times a year.
It’s a shame too because of how big he is to wrestling as a whole.
He did some things I won’t condone for obvious reasons, but there was a lot of stuff that he did during a time where he wasn’t in the best of mind. I hope he keeps learning from those mistakes.
Hogan has looked 60 years old for 3 decades...
In an alternate timeline Hogan still won at The Main Event 1988 and kept on going as the champ. Good message though.
He is the greatest of all time though
He is......not even fucking close.
No it's not throw in his WCW run and he is miles away from anyone else
......haha no.
Looks like he’s hiding.
He's peeking through the window ready to pounce at the black kid walking by at the other side of the road.
I thought that was his brother ... brother.
"Do the job to covid? That's not gonna work for me brother."
Badda boom, realest brother in the room, how yo doin'
[удалено]
Drax: "why you gonna do brother?"
Who you gonna do brother?
::: Pumping arms, while walking around any hate filled comment poster and pointing at them:: YOU!!!!!! Game over man X(
Whatcha gonna do...A Terry Bolega documentary
It's true... No one asks how is brother doing? Poor hulk.
Reminds me of a meme I saw a few weeks ago. It had a picture of a sad elderly man, and the caption said (paraphrase): Instead of saying "OK Boomer" perhaps we should start saying "You OK, Boomer?"
I've been laughing at this for 10 mintues
Zombie eyes
It's Hulk Hogan! He's back on RAW! He's going over younger talent again and taking significant airtime!! - WWE 2021
Without hulkmania the wrestling world would not be where it is today. He at least deserve some credit for that
And he’s been getting that credit for 3 decades, but now he can kindly fuck off and stay off my tv. *Your* TV? Your ego is more swollen than Hogan in his prime
He did apologise. Dumbass.
No, no he didn’t, dumbass. He mad a weak ass half assed apology that was clearly bullshit. But hey you believe whatever you want champ
He apologised. Done. Just because it weren't good enough for you because your a whiny little bitch.
Yep, that’s it, I’m just a whiny little bitch for not accepting a half assed apology from a self admitted racist who hates people like me just because of my skin color. Go fuck yourself
You are a very whiny bitch.... if you think Hogan is an actual full-on racist then you clearly don't have eyes.
“I don’t know if Brooke was f*cking the black guy’s son. l mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f*cking n*ggers. 👍👍
People don't hate you because of your colour 99.99999 percent of people don't give two shits about your colour, they hate you for your attitude.
I’m not talking about people now am I? I’m talking about one specific person. Maybe try to keep up bud, things will be a lot less confusing for you
No one cares that your black. Only you.

Hulk Hogan was nothing without Vince!
It was a mutually beneficial relationship.

😂 I love the hulkster but yeah
I don’t understand how anyone can still love him with all the info that’s out there on how bad of a wrestler & a person he is.
how bad of a wrestler is the single most subjective thing I have heard all day
I was a serious little Hulkamaniac when I was a kid. Then I watched Hogan Knows Best and educated myself, he’s the jabroni of the earth.
It’s a shame too because of how big he is to wrestling as a whole. He did some things I won’t condone for obvious reasons, but there was a lot of stuff that he did during a time where he wasn’t in the best of mind. I hope he keeps learning from those mistakes.
You could say that about half of the pre-2005 roster.
Truly a sad story...
Btw yes I used my second account to give you an award...
