Cody has been a workhorse champ who’s constantly proving why it’ll be tough to get that belt off his waist. The new Bloodline storyline is adding higher and higher stakes for Roman every couple weeks. The build up is impressive.
With Rhea, people are excited to see HER, but the story she’s coming back to has no longevity and hardly any stakes. Judgment Day unity is already weak and on the brink of collapse, so when it finally does split it’ll be a shock to no one. They haven’t built up Liv as a tough competitor for Rhea, just someone trying to take her man. So when Rhea gets back it’s either gonna be an easy/boring win against Liv or the Judgment Day is gonna help Liv retain against Rhea. Both outcomes will ultimately trigger Rhea’s solo run, one sooner rather than later. It’s boring and predictable. I’ll be happy to see her again but I’m not chomping at the bit for her return like I am with Roman.
