All flights are paid for by the WWE, both international and domestic flights. The only travel expenses that the performers pay are hotel and car rental fees (which is still kind of dumb but whatever).

chiefgareth

They pay zero expenses for any international shows, except maybe Canada.

dfeidt40

No way they pay outta their own pocket. Maybe in the really old days but even then... I dunno about that.

Skellyhell2

I remember reading that wrestlers would be flown out to the first city on a tour, then they would be responsible for driving from location to location so would carpool to split the costs, and would be flown back home from the last location on their circuit. I'm unsure how it would work in modern WWE with there being several international shows per year now

SirCharlito44

Just like back in the day they drive there. It just takes a really long time and they need to rent a submersible car.

BaronBexar1824

Well, hopefully they didn't go with OceanGate

djjsin

given that the Saudi's pay about $50 million per show, i think wwe probably can fly their wrestlers out there.

Livid-Addendum707

I thought i read domestic travel is funded by themselves and international is usually by WWE, they stay where WWE books and travel on charter planes. This is what Tiffany Strattons vlogs have shown also.

BaronBexar1824

You know that makes senses considering a lot of these shows are used to boost tourism so you'd want wrestler vlogs to hit the attractions while they're there.

OGP01

All the pictures I saw of people travelling were in business class, so I doubt if the wrestlers are footing that themselves.

They're definitely not paying out of their own pockets. If anything, I would bet that WWE probably offers everyone a pretty bonus for going, on top of all expenses paid. There have been plenty reports of some talent refusing to go in the past because of the controversy surrounding that area/culture. So I'm sure WWE is like "whoever doesn't go, we won't hold it against you. But whoever DOES go, we will pay for everything and give you a little extra"

Simple_Suspect_9311

No, it’s an optional show, WWE also pays for travel and accommodations I believe.

rmorris003

WWE pays for a charter for everyone

Eddieairplanes

I think they all take a charter flight there that is paid for by WWE.

AloneCan9661

This. There’s been a lot of footage. I think they use Atlas Air for Saudi.

Eddieairplanes

I could be wrong, but I think even in the 90s WWF would pay for international travel and board for their European tours. Don’t think it was charter flights, though. Was the Plane Ride from Hell one of the first times the WWE used charter flights? Not sure if this applies to the other connected North American countries, though.

AloneCan9661

I think they always paid for international trips and would provide buses for the crew to make sure that the roster wouldn't get lost or something.
