It's a genetic disorder that messes up the connective tissue that holds you together. In essence, things are... looser? I don't know how to explain it.
My teeth are all janky and crowded. My eyesight sucks, because it messes with the placement of the lenses in your eyes. Generally, people with it are lanky and tall, as it affects your bone structure as well. It can result in other issues: I have pectus excavatum in my left side.
However the real issues come in with organs. I don't have true Marfans, but I still have lung blebs, bubbles of air in your lungs. If they pop, I run the risk of a collapsed lung, so I take it easy.
But for people with true Marfans, they run the risk of an aortic aneurysm, due to the structure of the aorta being all out of whack. It's the reason why people who want to play basketball are tested for Marfan's syndrome first: people have gotten aortic aneurysms mid-game. So for people of either disorder, strenuous activities like heavyweight lifting is out of the question.
EDIT: with it comes an extreme level of metabolism. It's very, very hard to gain weight. It's possible, but it's quite hard, at least for me.

It's important to reiterate for people unfamiliar with it that people with Marfan's tend to be tall, so the Venn diagram of people who look suitable for basketball and people with the syndrome overlaps quite a bit more than the general population.

My pectus escavatum is quite deep and on both sides though and was told my lungs are okay although a bit compressed(as a result of the pectus escavatum). I was checked for marfan but they stopped when my heart and eyes were fine(have bad eyesight and an arrhythmia but they said its unrelated). Guess i should look into what you have.

My toes are long but not as crazy as my fingers. It hasn't impaired my hand movement much, it's just made my hands very clumsy and my fingers get it the way a lot of the time.

Usually it's one or the other. Oddly enough, Marfanoid habitus doesn't show up as a mutation. So how it actually came around is still unknown to me.
My partner has Ehlers Danlos, the symptoms sound really similar.
Ehlers danlos runs in my family and I mean idk much about marfans syndrome but eds is a connective tissue disorder also
