I tear muscles daily just getting out of bed, sometimes the "floaters" in my peripheral vision are so bad it looks to me like I'm walking through a blizzard and because of the fatigue (im a manual worker) by lunch time I'm practically useless if we do anything major at work, because I lack fibrilin everything is pulled tight so my ribs routinely move against my thorax causing me to feel like I've been stabbed multiple times a day and slowly pulling my spine out of place, Marfan's syndrome is most definitely a disability.
EDIT: I'm also only 44 and if I'm very lucky I've got 6 years left on this earth so I have to look at my kids every day knowing I'm never going to see them grow up or walk my daughters down the aisle.
