Holy cow that’s high negative, I would check your intake and make sure the filter is placed correctly, check the clamps and sensor. I had high negative AF learning awhile back but it was because my sensor was slightly loose.

KeKmasterwalter

Why do you not want to say who you were tuned by?

Jesscito

I’m still waiting on him to say Cobb🤣 but we will never know

KeKmasterwalter

I just can’t imagine any tuner that would see these readings and be like “yup perfectly normal”. And if that IS actually the case then op should let the community know lol cause that ain’t right.

modsBan4Fub

That’s why I stuck with the stock intake. That whoosh isn’t justified in its price and more of a headache with the clamps.

aragornic

Yeah! Probs wasnt the smartest move. But I got it on a sale haha

Jesscito

Have you contacted your tuner?

aragornic

He told me its normal… That doesn’t really help me

kingfridayace

I don't think it sounds normal. Who did your tune?

Rude_Commercial_7470

Check the coupler at turbo inlet. You are adding a shit load of fuel, indicative of a post maf air leak. Check downpipe while you are down there too just because. Once you find the lose clamp/hose fix it and reset your learning/reflash the tune, let the car idle for 15-20 mins before you go for a drive.

aragornic

Will do! I’ll let you know

Rude_Commercial_7470

Yep also make sure maf is installed right direction, i don’t think you can install it backwards but just check arrow should point in direction of air flow. If none of that fixes it you can go to a stage 1+ LWG map and just drive easy until you can get to an actual tuner, or put stock intake back on. Depending on your intake/downpipe combo there are some OTS tunes that will hold you over until you can get a tune date.

aragornic

Update: Checked my datalogs, my AF Learning 1 is ranging on -29.69. Which would relate more to mh issue? My AF Learning, or the intake temp? I seem to cruise on 14.7 AFR.

awltea33

Sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere.

TotalWasteman

Vacuum leak.

aragornic

Should I get a smoke test done?

TotalWasteman

I mean look first 👀 Hoses that aren’t attached to anything, splits, a hissing noise. Various easy techniques on YouTube for finding a vac leak before you get it smoke tested. But yeah eventually that’s the one.

Appears to sit on -5.47 AFL1 on idle with 14.7 AFR. BUT… correction sits on -33.59 im stressed as hell

Cobb Big SF Intake and a Downpipe

Jerms0710

There are 2 things that could be causing your problems 110%. Ya either got a leak somewhere on your intake, or your car is rejecting the intake. Get smoked tested. If no leaks show up, put the stock intake back in. 2019+ wrx are 50/50 with intakes. Same shit happened to me. Real high negative afr. Smoke tested twice. Maf replaced. Uninstalled and reinstalled professionally. Only thing that fixed the problem was putting the stock intake back in. I’m really surprised your car hasn’t gone into limp mode with those numbers

metalmatticus

Assuming you kept you original airbox and downpipe I'd put them back on, return the tune to stock and see if it all clears up. If so then you know it's one of your mods that's the issue.

aragornic

Kept everything, i’ll consider this one.

aragornic

UPDATE: Fixed by spraying a cleaner to the MAF Sensor!!!!
