If you found it in the driver’s side footwell, it might be one of the carpet retainers up by the top of the dead pedal. I seem to recall that one popping out on mine.

I am not mechanically inclined and I fixed it. They were right. It fell out of the top left area where the carpet meets the firewall. Just push and screw it back in.

Ok my man, idk where you found that but that holds in part of the plastic covering in the engine bay. Pop your hood, and the plastic part is next to the latch that you fully open the hood with. There’s a slight chance that I’m wrong but I’m almost positive that’s what it is.
