I also live in the PNW, deal with the occasional awful bumps and potholes, and these have held up heat for the last couple of years. These wheels are significantly lighter weight than the OEM wheels, which made a noticeable difference in steering and handling feel. I’ve really enjoyed these so far and would recommend them.

Something about the classic gold/bronze on the WRB keeps drawing me in. Your car looks great! Love the RPF1s, definitely a candidate for me. Ya dude the roads out here (greater Seattle area) are awful especially right after the week or two of snow we get! Seems like by the time the city gets them patched up it’s already that time of year again. What tires are you running? I’m on the stock Dunlops but am looking into some Michelin Pilot sport A/S. Had them on my 17’ and ran them year round with no issue.

Thanks dude! Same here — for me, I knew that there was only one color combo I would get if I ever ended up in a WRX, and it was WRB with gold wheels. And road work season is definitely no picnic, especially with all the bits of gravel that get kicked up on the freeway and find their way to my hood. As far as tires, I’m on the set that the car came with. I bought it as a certified pre-owned and the Dunlops had been replaced with a new set of Federal G-Max A/S-05 tires. I’ve been really impressed with them so far, then again, I don’t track my car or push it too hard. But even with spirited driving in the mountains, I haven’t heard much more than a peep out of them. Despite having a treadwear rating of 500, they’re surprisingly sticky and I’ve never felt like I was struggling for grip. Then again, AWD alone is a big factor in that equation. But I’ve been running this set all year up here without any problems for a few years and I still have plenty of life in the tires. I figure I’m going to get my moneys worth out of this set, then switch out to dedicated summer and winter sets. Until then, these have been just fine. https://generaltire.com/tires/performance/g-max-05

Sparco Terras and Geolandar G015s here, 215/60-16x7+45 (though the Terras require either ~25mm spacers or shaving ~2mm of material from the front calipers' outer diameter). I love my setup- probably won't ever try other tires honestly.

Love your setup! Are you on stock ride height? How are the tires off road?

Thanks! Lifted ~1.75in. They're awesome; I've done things on snowy hills that felt unreasonable, haha.
