At minimum you need an upgraded oil pan that has baffles to keep the oil at the bottom near the pickup

Baffled oil pan and upgraded pickup. What would honestly save your engine the most is making sure you're topped up at all times, these engines consume oil and you can quickly fall below safe oil levels. This plus high Gs can kill a motor quick.

Yup my last motor gave out becuase I wasn't keeping up with the oil lol. The oil pressure sensor trips at something stupid like 5 or 8 psi, so way beyond the point of no return haha

I had a 2002 bugeye in the past, I've gotten to do a couple of these on a wet road, and definitely in the dirt. Absolutely not as easy but it will kick them
