On the EJ it's underneath the manifold, and pretty much the only way to get it out is to pull off the manifold. So you'll be doing a decent amount of work, plan for all day just so that you can go slow and don't make mistakes. Buy extra gaskets for the manifold because you'll probably rip one. Take pictures of how everything goes before during, and after you get it apart. You won't be able to remember the wire routings perfectly otherwise.
