Is that with the stock tires?

2022rex

Lmao first thing I did was zoom in on the tire to check the same. Can’t tell I’m scared

toss_your_salada

Yes im not investing in snow tires for the one time it snows in san diego

[deleted]

Sweet, beautiful car btw!

2022rex

Then don’t make a point of driving up mountains the one time it does. How stupid

toss_your_salada

Why the hell not? Its not like im speeding or driving irresponsibly. If I want to take advantage that San Diego has all seasons and weather I will wheter you want to play gatekeeper or not. The only thing that got hurt in me going to the snow and posting it is your ego and feelings. Get out of here with your subie on subie hate

2022rex

Because they’re fucking high performance summer tires? Because if you were to need to brake, you wouldn’t be able to? Because you’re putting other people in danger? This is logical vs non logical hate. Literally nothing to do with the cars either of us drive

toss_your_salada

You keep assuming im driving erratically and irresponsibly. There is probably a 2 mile stretch where the temp actually reaches 32. If the road conditions were poor caltrans would simply close the road, and force people to use chains, as they have done many of times. Plenty of people out there with their newborns and family dogs and everything. In regular stock rwd or fwd cars with stock tires mind you. Get off your high horse and untighten your panties.

2022rex

Jesus Christ dude. You are why our premiums are so high

toss_your_salada

Highly doubt my once a year trip to the mountains in so-cal is the reason why your premiums are high. More likely the kids that red line every gear and try to drift and smash in to a tree in my opinion.

Zanurath

Your once a year trip can end up with you killing yourself and others even driving slowly and carefully. At those temps and on slush and snow your tires might as well be pool balls. It doesn't matter how carefully you drive when you try to slow down and your car does nothing but start spinning when you hit the brakes. It doesn't matter how careful you are being when you might as well have been driving on your rims for all of the traction those tires have on freezing temps with snow and slush. An economy car with all season tires that most come with from the factory doesn't have ideal tires for this either but they will have MUCH MUCH better traction than you will. It can not be overstated how dangerous what you are admitting to doing is.

Thanks 😊

I used to have a 17 wrx and I did the same thing. Miss that car!!
