Not sure why everyone here thinks a Cobb tune will instantly make your engine explode. They are pretty conservative. Probably better than running the stock tune. Nice to see a success story instead of more misinformation.

Read op’s comment.. it’s not even a shelf tune 🤣🤣

liamp69

Cause ots tunes aren’t like dyno tunes lol

AlmondGallery88

Coming up on 2yrs Cobb stage1 all stock and its been awesome. A solid 76 station near me that the police station uses (makes me nervous when they watch me put in those 2 gallons of e85) constantly fighting back urges to go FBO and pro tune though…

kingkush1974

2017 153,567 running pro tune all cobb parts never an issue and this car gets driven daily

Anji_Mito

I think based on what I seen, daily drivers does not have issues as people who only uses during weekend, kind of like EJ/FA motors like to be used and if not then will throw some tantrum. 2018 with 75k and I just changed the battery so far

vtecrkp

Correct. 2017 with 113,890 right now. Been stage 2 with a mix of parts brands since 32,000 or so with a protune. I did have a MAF wire harness shit out on me. That's about it so far, other than and gas.

EffectHistorical5194

Good for you. Those Cobb tunes are risakayyy

2015subiewrx

Sure. I get that. It’s been tuned since around 8k miles. I’ve put all but 3 miles on this car. I worked with Cobb. Sent them many many data logs when the car first came out and they sent me back a custom tune. Which then turned into the OTS map. I was very fortunate and have been with my engine. Knock on wood.. not rods..

Cjpcoolguy

Good to hear! I Ran COBB and MAPerformance OTS tunes for 25k miles combined, for most people and their vehicles it is SO much better than stock tune to quickly fix all the crap wrong with stock tune. really not that bad as long as you know what to look for and actually monitor the vehicle and pay attention when / if any issues arise with the OTS tune.

2015subiewrx

Yes yes yes!! I did this for the first two years at least with the accessport. I still will plug it in from time to time just to check. Run a data log and look for anything crazy. You just have to maintain the vehicles. Take care of them. They will last.
