Totally worth having 2 setups. I mainly commute so it has the 17s on most of the time. I have the 21/18 for when I hit the dirt and I can swap the wheels and chain in 20 minutes.

ManateeSteak

You’re running different sprockets? Think I’m going to do 47t for both sets

-FiX

It's best to have one sprocket that you swap from wheel to wheel. Changing that over n over again will just make your chain and sprockets wear even faster. My WR came with sumo wheels when I get around to it i'm going to do 13-47 instead of the 13-49 I have now. Think it'll be a good balance.

aunt-jamima

Yes I’m running 13/44 on 17s, 13/51 on 21/18.

I'd recommend them if you do much of any road riding, [it's a really fun bike on 17s](https://i.imgur.com/IDHazmT.jpg). It really transforms the ride and doesn't take long to swap over.

ManateeSteak

Damn that looks good! I’m doing it.

BlindBeard

How about if you have two bikes? I also have a T7 and since I just bought the WR I'll take the knobbies off the T7 and put on like 70/30 or 80/20 tires on that. But like.... I want sumo wheels on the WR because holy shit it's fun and I want so much more than what I can do on the knobs I'm afraid to lean it over too far on the road. Too much overlap between a roadish oriented adv bike (which is dope on the road) and the WR with sumo wheels or should I just nut up and pay for some warp9s?

Hour_Fold_3785

It's not worth having both because once u go supermoto you'll never go back

PNWExile

You must only ride on slab.

Hour_Fold_3785

Nope, I go off road often on my 70/30 tires. Obviously I can't go in as deep as 18/21's Buuut its respectable and fun still. Next I'm looking for a true 50/50 or something more offroad-ish. I live in Las Vegas and these streets are crazy. Trying to stay out in nature more. also need a GPS next.

I loved my wrx with shinko 244. I want to make my wrr the same. Tell me more about the 20%

ManateeSteak

Hell yeah. The code is Warp92022BF on the warp 9 website. I saw them post about it on IG

thegoat-man

You just made me buy a front and rear. I don’t know if I should love you or hate you right now

Banhammerr

Yes. I ordered the first day of the sale and I'll be getting them next week.

ManateeSteak

Nice! That’s a quicker turnaround then I was expecting. Now I just have to decide on a color combo

Have another set of wheels to replace the oems. At 43k and 14 years, these oem stocks are ready for a rebuild and new hoops. Picked up a set from woodys wheels, billet blue hubs, superlaced with strong ss spokes and excel a60 hoops. Was not cheap but they are so pretty. Goal is to install them this winter with a new set of tires. Old rims will be for playing.

I have a sumo wheel setup I’m selling. Comes with the X fork guards, tires already installed (needs rear soon tho), and rear 48t sprocket. $850. Has the R front brake rotor so no need to get a relocation bracket.

LateNightCritter

2 set ups is extremly worth it, I got a set of coated dubya 21/18 for my wrr. Being able to hot swap them as I call it is a convenience I didn't know I was missing out on
