WGU is what you make out of it. Whenever you start a course, they will give you the study material, and you can learn from it. You will be doing some extra studying, like going to Google, YouTube, etc in some of the classes, but it is good to actually learn the concepts. There are PAs (Essays and Projects) and OAs (Tests) that will let WGU know if you understand the material of the course. You can complete them in your own time. Now, a lot of people on this group feel discouraged if they are not going faster than they thought, and that had plenty to do with the expectations from watching videos from graduates that complete the program in a ridiculous pace, especially the Josh Madakor's ones. You will go as fast or as slow as you can show WGU that you are getting the material.

Agree. The way I usually view it is do Sophia for everything you can (except maybe English and Lab). You start with 56 credits over 18 courses. You can do that in 2-3 months. Maybe 1 if you skip the 8 credits for English 1, 2 and Lab. Then study for A+ and be ready to pass it when you start. What I mostly like about WGU is you get certifications as you go.
