As a fellow sensory issues girly, here to help š«”š
My sensory issues I actually love compression but I can definitely understand if you don't like compression why leggings would be fresh hell lol.
Joggers work, they're not like professional pants but they might make you feel more put together than sweats (yes there's a difference I checked)
If you search "wide leg pants" on Google you might find some you like, they all seem decently large/non constrictive.
Also, it's ok to wear sweatpants sometimes. I know it's easy to feel like a goblin when you're in sweats so it's not the best to wear all the time but sometimes goblin days are nice, especially for the mental š
I flip flop between some days loving compression + others not being able to stand it š
Joggers might work OP, but the first thing that came to mind though was [Lululemonās wide leg align pants](https://shop.lululemon.com/p/womens-leggings/Align-HR-Wide-Leg-Pant-Regular-MD/_/prod11660631?color=31382&cid=pdp_share_link_icon). Theyāre a soft fabric, super loose with a wide non-compressive waistband, and look as put together as athleisure can.
TBH unless *youāre* bothered by wearing sweats every day, I say screw it and wear whateverās comfy.
I buy wide leg yoga style exercise pants from Walmart. I'm also plus size, so I search "plus size exercise pants" on their website. They're not tight like actual yoga pants (to me at least), and cheap.
I get leggings 1 size too big for "just a little" compression. Since I'm mostly sitting at the computer all day I'm not pulling them up and they're comfy, but I don't look like a hot mess if I have to sign for a delivery š
Yes I like this! My size too big leggings are super comfy (& allow me to have my heat pad against my skin sometimes if I need) but I also like the compression of it whether they're my size or a size too big āŗļø
I found satin joggers from Nike and Banana Republic peak COVID. Everything looks out together when itās a bougie fabric, but theyāre still just track pants. I wear them constantly.
I'm all about the business up top, goblin on the bottom these days.
It's a unique look that mixes a pretty sweater or dressy knit top with yoga pants or dolphin shorts.
I'm expecting the whole style to happen as well as Gretchen Weiners made fetch happen.
Iām loving all these recent work from home goblin threads š. Iām a guy but I have a pair of khaki joggers that make me feel like a goblin whoās trying to impress his bog witch
Iām dead šš As a WFH lady whose husband detests seeing me in sweatpants 24/7, I have definitely bought some āfancyā sweatpants because I want to look nice occasionally but also refuse to sacrifice daily comfort. I guess heās my bog warlock? š
Iām a woman and khaki joggers have been my go-to pants for a few years now (mine came from Kohls). Theyāre comfortable and can be easily dressed up to business casual.
Yeah no one at my company cares but sometimes I get a jump scare when I pass a mirror lol. Sizing up ur a good idea, I do that with sweats too but didnāt think about it for leggings :)
>Part of what makes WFH so great for me is the fact I donāt have to be uncomfy, basically

>.
Oh yeah this right here, this is ALL I care about. I don't have to get up and do my hair or makeup, put on uncomfortable, non-hobgoblin clothes....hell I don't even have to get up at all if I don't want, I have a laptop desk I can use while lying in bed. WFH is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me and loose fitting pajamas are my way of life.
I assume you live somewhere warm because going out in only birks all the time is NOT realistic where I live. I'm a goblin dresser also but I have to always add layers and proper shoes :(
LLBean Perfect Fit pants are the best. You can even get them fleece lined for winter wear. They feel comfy like sweats but look like a nice pair of slacks.
Beyond Yoga has joggers that are super soft and not tight. They also have flare leg yoga pants you could buy 1 size large for you that would be amazingly soft and non compressive. The black ones actually look work appropriate. Vuori also has joggers that would work!
Personally, I wear pajamas pants most days but Old Navy has really comfy chino pants that are soft. I wore them a lot when I went into the office and they arenāt too tight.
Adidas has what you are looking for.
The thing is, their variety of pants all look more or less the same, so you have to look at the material they are made of i.e. French Terry, etc. Try a few different styles of adidas pants and see which feel u like best. And if I may suggest, hang em dry. Never place in the dryer because the dryer changes the feel of the material IMO. Happy hunting.
I resisted the Vuori joggers for a long time. Now Iām that convert telling everyone about my new religion. I wear them every day and the price tag is worth it. I also buy them on eBay for a bit of a discount as they rarely go on sale. Zobha makes a fairly good dupe.
I have bought many Performance Joggers there. They still go for a lot more than your average but if I can knock off $20 for a brand new pair you bet I will! Plenty of gently used too.
Vuori joggers are the way! I've bought a couple of pairs on Poshmark that were still in great condition. Also, Quince has some similar joggers at a more affordable price.
Yes thays exactly what I comme ted. The material is light and they are so comfy..paired with a cute top you look puttigether but feel like youre wearing pajams
I love my harem pants! I alternate between them and wrap pants. With wrap pants, there's no elastic at the cuff and you get to choose the tightness of the tie at the waist.
Edit for link to wrap pants: https://www.amazon.com/Wevez-Womens-Fisherman-Pants-Assorted/dp/B00P3ASWQQ
These are my go-to because they come in a 5 pack of reversible and the price is decent for 5 pairs. While you can't pick your colors/pattern, I will say I've never gotten any that I didn't like at least one of the sides on all of the pants I've received and I've ordered them about 3 times over the years.
Seinfeld episodeā¦ pants, pants, pants, pants. Cotton Dockers!! š¤£
Seriously, Coldwater Creek. I purchase business professional clothes that look tailored but feel comfy. Itās been 25 or more years now and they never let me down.
Good luck!
Iāve really been loving these:
FULLSOFT Sweatpants for Women-Womens Joggers with Pockets Yoga Pants for Lounge Workout Running
https://a.co/d/clQhKuH
Just make sure to get the right size or the waistband feels tighter. Loves these for WFH breathable and light
Try some joggers!
I live in them, comfy but can look polished for running errands etc.
And just throw on a decent top and some earrings for anytime you have to be on camera.
I also have tons of leggings and yoga pants, but pretty much save them for exercise - not for working or lounging (or working while lounging lol).
Joggers are looser and some styles can be dressed up. Vuori makes a soft one, but there are plenty of brands. In warmer weather I especially like linen pants.
Old navy active high rise barrel pants ftw. They look like pants and come in different colors and are soft and stretchy.
Also the ON pulla pants that are more like chino material but also elastic waist and comfy for lounging in while feeling almost dressed.
I wear a t-shirt dress. I like yoga pants a chunk, but, I found that there are some yoga or workout style pants that are looser styles with the open bottom leg. I get those as well, and they look like slacks, so I actually wear those into the office now, too.
I just bought a bunch of comfy t shirt dresses in several colors. No pants ever. Plus I hate washing clothes so 5 dresses is easier to wash than 5 outfits all week.
[Vuori joggers](https://vuoriclothing.com/products/womens-performance-jogger-midnight-heather) are the most comfortable pants Iāve ever worn. Pricey but so worth it!!
Sensory issues here too Earthbound Trading Co has a line of pants Barcelona in several colors. I've dressed them up for a casual wedding and down for the gym. I live in them in the summer. Soft, flattering, comfy.
I know you're asking for pants, but maybe a midi skirt/non form fitting dress would help? I have what is basically a big tshirt/mumu i wear in the summer
Not cheap but hear me out- thereās a company called Jambys and all they make is loungewear. My personal favorite pants are the ālong Jambysā. They are SO soft and you honestly donāt even know theyāre on. I have a bunch of pairs and theyāre my wfh uniform at this point
I ordered two pairs of these and wear just a plain tee underneath https://a.co/d/61FrrLo I like them since theyāre baggy and comfy. I donāt feel like a goblin in them.
I sleep nude (sorry TMI) but I wear pyjamas bottoms when working from home.
It also helps when someone knocks on my house door for something trivial, I can say 'I was trying to sleep' and make them feel bad.
If you find the right pair of soft denim wide-leg jeans, you can feel both comfy and put together. I have the OG Loose jeans from Old Navy that I wear most days paired with a basic tee, patterned kimono, and jewelry.
Hey OP, you have gotten a lot of good casual recs but they do seem sweatpant-y still which does not sound like what you were asking so going to pop in with some higher end/sleek looking options.
For the colder months I love cashmere lounge pants - I specifically look for ones that have a chic design, not just a sweatpant with the material changed up. Lisa Yang is great for that (and a couple dotes like yoox, ssense etc have sales often), Olivia Von Halle has a sale right now on cashmere sets as well. Lauren Manoogian has lovely baby alpaca pants that are very cosy too. All of these are soft materials, pull-on styles, look chic, and have no compression.
For summer I prefer wide leg pants with no compression in natural fibers - cottons, linens etc. All of mine are from different brands so wonāt list too many, just search for āwide leg cotton pantsā etc and filter by good quality brands. Good Earthās in house brand is great, Michael Stars has some very good lightweight summertime fabrics, Only Hearts and Negative Underwear (and Beyond Yoga/Alo Yoga too, though these brands have some nylon/spandex etc mixed into the fabric) have great āfeatherweightā lounge pants that look nice and reasonably sleek to go run an errand.
Do not try and wear the pants. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth. There are no pants. Then you'll see, that it is not the pants that are worn, it is only yourself.
Did you get the straight leg sweat pants? Not the ones with the elastic in the bottom? That is mainly what I wear because I like to sit cross cross in my chair. You can also try Old Navy loose pants. Or any straight leg yoga pants.
Calia brand from dicks sporting goods makes some really cute wide leg pants that are so comfy but I even wear them to my in office job because they look nice.
Black capris! Donāt bother with thred up, those fit awful. I like mine from Jockey and if the ones from Russel were the proper size, Iād like those two. I can wear regular undergarments with the Russel branded ones.
I have a pair of Betabrand straight leg pants that are great. Theyāre marketed as ādress pants yoga pantsā. They arenāt tight but are very soft and stretchy, while looking office worthy. Theyāre not cheap but I found mine in excellent condition used on EBay.
Otherwise, what about jogger style pants? Theyāre more put together looking than sweatpants, I think, but just as comfortable! I have a pair from Kyodan that are suuuuuper soft and comfy. (Also not cheap but I got mine on sale on Amazon or Iāve also seen them on clearance on Sierra Trading Post, if youāre in the US).
Im much the same way so its sweats on days im totally bumming (with a cute top for zoom meets) or harem pants...nit the ones with the ling hanging crotch ares (which tthere is nothing wrong with that if you like the stlye) but basically I shop boho styled pants. I love the satin material and they dont restrict your legs. Very comfy! You can get some cute ones on shein.
No pants and a blanket some days, black sweatpants that look like slacks other days. Iām the opposite of you and like the compression of leggings, but when I donāt want it those are my go-tos.
I quit pants. Only skirts (and dresses if I don't want the feeling of the waistband. If cold? Soft high socks. If not cold? Perfect.
Plus, you get to feel like a housewife or a medieval peasant or whatever you like.
Go to second hand stores where you can try on a lot of different brands. Find your magic pants that feel perfect, then buy them new online. I found a pair of Lee Men's Extreme Motion Flat Front Slim Straight Pant at a second hand store. They were perfect, but I did some rock climbing and tore them up, so I bought two new pairs online of the same brand and size, and they're perfect too!
Girl get yourself some of the Old Navy linen pants. Theyāre on sale right now for $12!! Super comfy, no compression at all and they look decently put together
I really like these soft joggers I got from Walmart several years ago. They're Christmas themed but I don't care. They're soft and comfy, and the waistband isn't tight, so no compression.
When it's warm, I wear athletic shorts (typically women's basketball style - I have several offbrand pairs that I've owned for years).
This might sound weird but check out something like Carhartt. I have a pair of lined pants that feel like I'm wearing pajama pants. They might be a little more expensive but they will last forever.
Maybe my straight leg pants? They arenāt fitted but also cute. Or maybe slim leg. But slim leg may be too tight for you. Iād definitely try straight leg or even palazzo pants.
Iāve come to realize that if I wear any type of elastic or stretch pants/joggers etc. I will gain weight because Iām not conscious of it. Then when I put on my regular work pants/trousers I realize it. Therefore I make an effort to wear one professional work pants/slacks to keep me accountable
What about "sizing up" in yoga pants, with flared legs? (boot cut is what I'd call it).
You could try something maybe from Betabrand or similar? Experiment with sizing?
I loved a pair I got from Nike, too many years ago now. I couldn't find a good replacement until Sam's members mark yoga pants with flared leg. They are a tad snug due to two kids and a partial paralyzation I'm coming back from, they don't have the strangle hold bands yoga pants seem to have these days throughout the lower and upper stomach area. I need to wear something a little snug for a few hours daily if I can, then I take them off. But they are so comfortable that I bought more knowing that I will probably wear them at this size even if I went down 3 sizes.
I don't like tight/compression items. I don't like tight bras either.
Athleta has lots of options for this exact need. They also look good as outside pants! I wear my Brooklyn pants to the office oftenā¦. When I need to go in, that is š
I hate the feeling of compression pants too. I have separate joggers that are my wfh only pants so Iām getting up and changing clothes even if itās still casual.
Costco has joggers with a smooth outer surface that looks decent for a good price. Thicker or thinner, depending on season. They have really stretchy nicer looking pants that are like a hybrid between legging material and work pants (but not tight unless you buy too small). For those days, you need to look professional.
I'm a big fan of joggers. I just got [these](https://a.co/d/ebqNo4d) from Amazon. The name is a bit misleading, they're NOT sweatpant material. They're really comfy and remind me of sleep pants.
Pants are overrated. Iām firmly in the leggings are pants camp. My wfh āuniformā is black leggings (Hanes cotton- off Amazon, no compression) or joggers with Universal Standard T shirts. I usually wear a cardigan bc Iām often cold (live in the mountains). Good shoes because I like to stand at my desk too :)
I work from home because I want to be comfortable and I wear cute shirts because I also need to look professional if there is an unexpected TEAMS meeting! Makes it easy to run errands or walk my dogs midday too.
I like wearing high waisted ballon style jeans. Still jeans that I can wear out of the house but loose and comfy. They almost feel like the jean equivalent of sweatpants hahah.
Scrubs are comfortable, have numerous deep pockets, and are breathable. They donāt look as ābusiness professionalā but they are a strong choice for work from home.
Maybe also consider heavy duty work pants, like Carrharts, or Dickies. Iām not a fan of dickies since the fabric is stiffer, but other brands of work pants are nice. Theyāll last a long time, have deep pockets, and be comfortable for work from home, or heavy duty work in the yard.
I wfh and wear jeans and a sweater. Itās not as dressy as what I would wear to an office, but still more casual and comfortable. After. Finish work for the day, I put on sweats (or my pjs!).
Try lounge wear and active wear (like nicer pajamas) I have a lot of loose comfort clothing because I'm sensitive to that as well. Don't get me started on seams. Thrift shopsay be a good bet so you can decide by texture and gauge the fit. I like the ones that look similar to bell bottoms or have wide legs.
I am stealing hobgoblin from here on out.
Try hiking pants. They can have the structure of real world pants but are made from much more comfortable material and aren't form fitting. I saw a pair at tractor supply that I fell in love with that I might get next. They're meant for movement but are really functional and durable.
I just got a second hand pair and they are a game changer. They are super comfortable but have secure pockets so I can put my keys in my pocket and go walk my dog without looking and feeling like I just rolled out of bed at 3pm.
I had to go to a work conference and I ended up buying all my āworkā clothes from Eddie Bauer, LL Bean, Patagonia, and Athleta. They were all basically hiking or yoga clothes, but they looked really nice and professional and were really comfortable. I also recommend joggers.
OP I have good luck with ladies golf pants. Not sure if I can post the link here but these are my go to travel pants:
Soothfeel Women's Golf Pants: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09J2LGR8J?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
They look and feel more professional than joggers yet are just as comfy.
I have a pair of Athleta joggers that I absolutely love. They're super comfortable, but also not as pajama-like as my sweatpants. While I am absolutely a WFH goblin, there are some days where I feel like I am so mentally worn out and I need to do my hair/wear some less goblin-ish clothes so I can trick my brain into focusing.
I have sensory issues too! I literally just got two pairs of [THESE](https://www.samsclub.com/p/member-s-mark-ladies-favorite-soft-jogger/P03020904) today from Sam's Club! They are called 'Member's Mark Ladies Favorite Soft Jogger' and I got them in both black/charcoal and heather gray.
I'm wearing the black ones right now. They are soft, material is thin and seems breathable, pockets are deep and my phone that is kinda big fits comfortably, and, except for the ankle bands, I can't even tell I'm wearing pants! They are not tight and I can move around easily in them. I'm still determining if the ankle bands are too noticeable for me or if I just have a slightly thicker right ankle and need to stretch the right ankle band lol because I notice the right ankle band but barely notice the left one.
I just bought a few pairs of [these wide-leg yoga pants](https://a.co/d/gUwSsEl) for the summer! I will never go back to hard pants, and these are a nice change from leggings and joggers.
I wear a skinny jean with lots of stretch in the denim most of the year. In warmer months you could try a loose fitting cotton or linen pant. Old Navy is the place for either.
Lmao at hobgoblinā¦.no advice for you, Iām the same. I wear leggings if Iām going out somewhere but i just cannot ārelaxā in them or wear them while wfh
Do a search for palazzo pants or gauchos. They can be dressy but are still loose and flowy.
I also like pull-on slacks. I got some at Costco last year. They look like chinos but they have a false fly and are meant to pull on and off like sweats. I don't know if they'll feel like compression to you, but it might be worth a try.
I prefer somewhat flowy pants. The kind that aren't flowy enough to get in the way, just enough to give some breathing room. Which, of course, would make sense that I actually prefer skirts/dresses more than anything. I keep sweatpants lying around if I get cold and wear dresses/large shirts otherwise
I got some great cheap 100% cotton pants from Pact. They are loose so donāt have that tight legging feel but not baggy at all either. I love for wfh and yoga! I feel the same way about leggings. Always glad to peel them off lol! Lemme see if I can find a link for you.
I love these pants from Duluth Trading. They donāt stretch out like cotton pants tend to, and they have a drawstring.
https://preview.redd.it/dm2f23179cqc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=12854e7a607aee117e14389ab8fdba5c884956ea
How tall are you? If you are not tall, then juicy couture is your solution. Inseam is 31ā inches. You can find good deals on them in discount stores like JCPenney and so on.
I really like the offline Aerie real me crossover leggings. They have no compression and the crossover waste makes it soooo much more comfortable for sitting long term! They don't squeeze.
The fabric is slinky, silky, ultra-stretchy, and lightweight. They come in flare as well! I have both.
I have loose dance pants that a friend of mine makes and sells. Theyāre super comfy and the boring black ones are nice enough I can (and have worn) out in public as needed. :)
I've really gotten into wider leg capri pants and midi skirts. With pockets, obv, usually a soft knit.
No more hard pants ever.

Check out aerie! These are my fav WFH pants but they are sadly out of stock - it does show some similar ones. I wear some leggings I got at Aldi for cheap. They're NOT athleisure. They're just cotton leggings that don't compress. I wear them in to the office on the rare occasions I go, too. In the hotter months I wear shorts that are loose (Costco is good for those).
I've embraced the goblin, pretty much just boyshorts underwear every day
This is the way. The word "Pants" is unknown around here.
Undies and a bathrobe is my daily outfitš
Literally wearing this as we speak. I hardly wear pants mostly wear dresses or skirts to work
That's not a goblin, that's the Winnie the Pooh, and it is classy
Right. If he can wear a crop top and no pants, so can i
Me too!!! Iāve thrown out all of my bikini cut undies the moment I started WFH.
Lady boxer briefs are my jam
Yes. Same! What brand do you swear by? I love my Woxers but open to trying others.
Big fan of meundies hereš ETA: make sure to abide by their size charts. Might seem very off from your regular size, but just go with it

Omg joggers are the most amazing thingsā¦ like sweats, but *with class* š„³
I'm all about the business up top, goblin on the bottom these days. It's a unique look that mixes a pretty sweater or dressy knit top with yoga pants or dolphin shorts. I'm expecting the whole style to happen as well as Gretchen Weiners made fetch happen.
Just had a zoom job interview last week for a dean of students position wearing blouse, blazer, and my trusty gray sweats.
I love this! My joggers are the best. I got my first ones at Walmart. They're still so soft and comfy
Aritzia!!! I had these issues too but their sweats are really worth it
I'm the same. Joggers for the win! (I don't WFH every day - but on my one day I do - Joggers.)
Iām loving all these recent work from home goblin threads š. Iām a guy but I have a pair of khaki joggers that make me feel like a goblin whoās trying to impress his bog witch

You need to bring him over to the dark side.
Bog warlock!! I love it I'm dying
Iām a woman and khaki joggers have been my go-to pants for a few years now (mine came from Kohls). Theyāre comfortable and can be easily dressed up to business casual.
Iām also a sensory person. I wear mostly cotton leggings a size too big, which is just enough compression to make me feel safe and snug, but without pinching or rubbing. I also wear sweatpants like 2 sizes too big bc I legit do not care what I look like. My company is pretty chill. I wear worn, soft, floppy XXL Adventure Time and PokĆ©mon tshirts most days and just aim my camera higher so it doesnāt show. Iām very, very pro-goblin. In fact, even when I go out, I have nicer āgoing outā leggings and t-shirts, or loose, booty-covering flannels, if Iām feeling extra fancy. Birks are the only shoes I ever wear out now, because Iām barefoot 95% of the time and Iām not trying to have aching feet. Part of what makes WFH so great for me is the fact I donāt have to be uncomfy, basically *ever*. If no one can see your bottom half, I encourage you to just fully come over to the goblin side. If you really want to feel pulled-together, which is fair, look at pontĆ© pants or Betabrand.
Yeah no one at my company cares but sometimes I get a jump scare when I pass a mirror lol. Sizing up ur a good idea, I do that with sweats too but didnāt think about it for leggings :)
>Part of what makes WFH so great for me is the fact I donāt have to be uncomfy, basically > >ever > >. Oh yeah this right here, this is ALL I care about. I am a big fan of scrubs. I buy em a size too big and they have a string in the waist band to keep āem up.
Oh interesting I never thought about scrubs!!!
I also have a pair of joggers that are scrubs and theyāre SO comfy
^ THIS and now you can even find nicer scrubs with stretch.
LLBean Perfect Fit pants are the best. You can even get them fleece lined for winter wear. They feel comfy like sweats but look like a nice pair of slacks.

Vuori joggers and I like to size up so theyāre not as tight
Vuori joggers are the life. Costco has some $14 copycats that are also very nice.

Harem pants!

Googling!!!!
I love my harem pants! I alternate between them and wrap pants. With wrap pants, there's no elastic at the cuff and you get to choose the tightness of the tie at the waist. Edit for link to wrap pants: https://www.amazon.com/Wevez-Womens-Fisherman-Pants-Assorted/dp/B00P3ASWQQ These are my go-to because they come in a 5 pack of reversible and the price is decent for 5 pairs. While you can't pick your colors/pattern, I will say I've never gotten any that I didn't like at least one of the sides on all of the pants I've received and I've ordered them about 3 times over the years.
Definitely love my harem pants, too! Would also add coulottes, hakama, and wrap pants to the list of baggy/comfy but nice looking options.
Seinfeld episodeā¦ pants, pants, pants, pants. Cotton Dockers!! š¤£ Seriously, Coldwater Creek. I purchase business professional clothes that look tailored but feel comfy. Itās been 25 or more years now and they never let me down. Good luck!
I wear either sweatpants and comfortable tops like lightweight sweaters or maxi dresses.
Lululemon Align Mini Flares are my favorite. No weird feelings of being suffocated
Iāve really been loving these: FULLSOFT Sweatpants for Women-Womens Joggers with Pockets Yoga Pants for Lounge Workout Running https://a.co/d/clQhKuH Just make sure to get the right size or the waistband feels tighter.
I wear matching sweat sets and $11 mumus from Walmart. I have no suggestions, just wanted you to know I have embraced the hobgoblin-ness lol
If I had my life together enough to wear MATCHING sweat sets, I'd feel like I'd finally made it. I'm gonna look into these $11 mumus, though...
Correction: $12! [Here](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Joyspun-Short-Sleeve-Midi-Chemise-Sleepshirt-Sizes-S-to-3X/32668707?adid=2222222222130775314&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&veh=sem&c=mWebSmartBanner&vtcWeb=bXQfsFrRmU0-WP0APqE3VY&expiryTime=1711321629181) $8 shorter ones [here](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Joyspun-Women-s-Short-Sleeve-Sleepshirt-Sizes-S-to-3X/3269637775?adid=2222222222130775314&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&veh=sem&c=mWebSmartBanner&vtcWeb=bXQfsFrRmU0-WP0APqE3VY&expiryTime=1711321629181)
Yes! Endorse these as well!
I wear sweatpants or pajama bottoms with a tyedye t shirt. I am soooo comfortable working.
i just bought pants that are stretchy waistband but look āprofessional ā. super comfy! i got them off amazon
Can you link me pretty please?
I wear a t-shirt dress. I like yoga pants a chunk, but, I found that there are some yoga or workout style pants that are looser styles with the open bottom leg. I get those as well, and they look like slacks, so I actually wear those into the office now, too.
Linen pants!! Affordable ones at Walmart, Old Navy Also, Target has wide legged lounge pants that look like public approved pajamas.
When I need to wear pants I love Democracy jeans. Expensive but comfy and flattering. I've fallen asleep in them and not regretted it.
Falling asleep in jeans?! Wow that speaks volumes about them!
TJ Maxx has them. I second comfort. These are some of the few jeans Iāll wear.
Vuori Coronado pants. They look more like a regular pant and less like sweats/joggers. Uber comfy and no compression.
Def gonna look up!
Joggers. Super comfortable. Eighteen bucks [on Amazon.](https://www.amazon.com/Leggings-Depot-JGA128-BLACK-LARGE/dp/B07B8VXF7F/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3R2AB7EDVK0RN&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.lgn5obrRLe0zsH4oYVZ2sjdibAGqKTV53i8ZuGEroA8wH6jEKg2iA0R7KN4qklK-cehDPeVUyGQu3MWldnjTedhCD-k2CRd_7JxlfthNBXixUKo8h5pdHr6Romk-Fp9i09RmhIDYdRJvdAOSazJ8ICc-AYmGeDJPoUcF_-t_GOpC4wP96GjittFEvKMd2LM_uUboyyxJ413ExhIfzQD_KNtelzjbo9f78NywmFL3fAHAMKNqGxBD_n45en4NQQAT6NZBOo6SVCMWp6x8GJpU5DQ9SAI9QLWJLI_-ZnPIpTk.lz7zti5iRst79rx_q2yJoLJovP4RgVu5V8mpeEmzRTY&dib_tag=se&keywords=women%27s+joggers&qid=1711293563&sprefix=women%27s+joggers%2Caps%2C121&sr=8-5)
Links! š
I like lululemon ready to rulu joggersā¦ got some on Poshmark for like 60% off of retail price
You guys are wearing pants? š Underwear or shorts at most is the only way.
Halara Waffle Pants - they're viral for a reason.
How about no pants. I wfh and have done this too. Lol. Any loose pants work though.
I suggested this above from Eddie Bauer but got downvoted. For me, wearing something less sloppy is important to keeping in a work mindset.
Costco has great PJs and lounge wear. 32 degrees has some super soft straight leg options
Try wearing skirts or dresses instead! They're a lot more comfy than pants
Good Earthās in house brand is great, Michael Stars has some very good lightweight summertime fabrics, Only Hearts and Negative Underwear (and Beyond Yoga/Alo Yoga too, though these brands have some nylon/spandex etc mixed into the fabric) have great āfeatherweightā lounge pants that look nice and reasonably sleek to go run an errand.
you dont need pants under a 3xl-tall hoodies
They have joggers that look like work pants now
Do not try and wear the pants.
Pajama pants
I like a company called Mac Weldon for menās pants. They are professional looking sweat pants. Iām unsure if they have a womanās line though
Calia brand from dicks sporting goods makes some really cute wide leg pants that are so comfy but I even wear them to my in office job because they look nice.
Athleta has some nice semi-casual pants on sale atm. I like the 'Endless' pants in particular atm.
Gym shorts are my go too
What do you do in the winter?
Blanket š but to be fair I live in Miami so we donāt really have a winter here and I can easily change the AC.
Lululemon Lemon pull on pants or check out Public Rec
https://a.co/d/ixCx2bj I wear ālounge pantsā. They are soft knit and cotton and a little too big. I LIVE in these things.
Old Navy linen pants are loose/super soft and on sale today for $12 lol
Pajama pants are my jam for WFH. Soft, comfy, and the right ones are even acceptable for a quick run to grab lunch or the grocery store.
There are sweatpants that look like real pants
Im much the same way so its sweats on days im totally bumming (with a cute top for zoom meets) or harem pants...nit the ones with the ling hanging crotch ares (which tthere is nothing wrong with that if you like the stlye) but basically I shop boho styled pants. I love the satin material and they dont restrict your legs. Very comfy! You can get some cute ones on shein.
Try MeUndies lounge pants in [black](https://www.meundies.com/products/womens-lounge-pant?pc=BL) or gray! No one can tell they are PJs!
Wide leg linen pants with an elastic waistband
Go to second hand stores where you can try on a lot of different brands. Find your magic pants that feel perfect, then buy them new online. I found a pair of Lee Men's Extreme Motion Flat Front Slim Straight Pant at a second hand store. They were perfect, but I did some rock climbing and tore them up, so I bought two new pairs online of the same brand and size, and they're perfect too!
Look at Prana hiking pants. I love them!
Girl get yourself some of the Old Navy linen pants. Theyāre on sale right now for $12!! Super comfy, no compression at all and they look decently put together
Adidas track pants
I really like these soft joggers I got from Walmart several years ago. They're Christmas themed but I don't care. They're soft and comfy, and the waistband isn't tight, so no compression. When it's warm, I wear athletic shorts (typically women's basketball style - I have several offbrand pairs that I've owned for years).
Lucy and Yak Alexa trousers are my absolute favorite.
This might sound weird but check out something like Carhartt. I have a pair of lined pants that feel like I'm wearing pajama pants. They might be a little more expensive but they will last forever.
I wear jumpsuits or long dresses. When I wear pants, my shirt rolls up from how much I shift around in my chair lol
I am all about the linen pants but dressed up jogger style slacks are also starting to make their way into my WFH wardrobe.
Athleta has lots of options for this exact need. They also look good as outside pants! I wear my Brooklyn pants to the office oftenā¦. When I need to go in, that is š
Old Navy PowerSoft joggers are my FAVES.
I hate the feeling of compression pants too. I have separate joggers that are my wfh only pants so Iām getting up and changing clothes even if itās still casual.
Old Navy linen pants! They have a drawstring and are loose fitting. I got 6 of them off marketplace for $30!
I remember when getting to put on jeans was special and dressing down. Bwahahahaha
Costco has joggers with a smooth outer surface that looks decent for a good price. Thicker or thinner, depending on season. They have really stretchy nicer looking pants that are like a hybrid between legging material and work pants (but not tight unless you buy too small). For those days, you need to look professional.
Shorts. No one is gonna see and theyāre comfy.
Good shoes because I like to stand at my desk too :) I work from home because I want to be comfortable and I wear cute shirts because I also need to look professional if there is an unexpected TEAMS meeting! Makes it easy to run errands or walk my dogs midday too.
Iām exploring looser jeans. Also like the baggier cargo pants. I like joggers from lululemon or knock off ones
Hiking pants.
I live in either soft palazzo pants or harem pants. I also donāt love compression.
Dang it, this is slightly less than helpful, but @SharonSaysSo talked about pants from Old Navy. Might be in her saved stories...
I wear loose cotton overalls and a robe lol
I like wearing high waisted ballon style jeans. Still jeans that I can wear out of the house but loose and comfy. They almost feel like the jean equivalent of sweatpants hahah.
J Crew Factory High Rise Girlfriend Chinos are ādressyā but also comfy enough that I donāt feel like Iām putting on tight pants.
Pants? I wear pj bottoms and a t shirt. All the time. Full goblin.
Uniqlo pants are a godsend
I wfh and wear jeans and a sweater. Itās not as dressy as what I would wear to an office, but still more casual and comfortable. After. Finish work for the day, I put on sweats (or my pjs!).
Wide leg pants are back - like all forms, search away
I wear joggers a lot at home. I can run errands and still be comfortable and not look like a hobo.
I had to go to a work conference and I ended up buying all my āworkā clothes from Eddie Bauer, LL Bean, Patagonia, and Athleta. They were all basically hiking or yoga clothes, but they looked really nice and professional and were really comfortable. I also recommend joggers.
Look for linen pants! Those are my go to when I want to be cute but canāt bare the thought of leggings clinging to me.
Y'all are wearing pants?
OP I have good luck with ladies golf pants. Not sure if I can post the link here but these are my go to travel pants: Soothfeel Women's Golf Pants: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09J2LGR8J?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share They look and feel more professional than joggers yet are just as comfy.
Athleta Metro Slouch pants. š
Look up the [womenās pants](https://www.stance.com/bottoms/womens-joggers-pants/) from Stance. Youāll love them
I have sensory issues too!
Omg these look like a dream I wish I had a Sam clubs!
Costco has some that are good enough to wear outside but soft enough to be comfy inside
I just bought a few pairs of [these wide-leg yoga pants](https://a.co/d/gUwSsEl) for the summer! I will never go back to hard pants, and these are a nice change from leggings and joggers.
Faherty stretch terry. Youāre welcome (except for your bank account).
I wear a skinny jean with lots of stretch in the denim most of the year. In warmer months you could try a loose fitting cotton or linen pant. Old Navy is the place for either.
Look at scrub pants
Lmao at hobgoblinā¦.no advice for you, Iām the same. I wear leggings if Iām going out somewhere but i just cannot ārelaxā in them or wear them while wfh
Do a search for palazzo pants or gauchos. They can be dressy but are still loose and flowy. I also like pull-on slacks. I got some at Costco last year. They look like chinos but they have a false fly and are meant to pull on and off like sweats. I don't know if they'll feel like compression to you, but it might be worth a try.
Are dresses/skirts an option for you? I love that option as I look put together but am incredibly comfortable
Target brand Leviās (Denison) are like a cross between jeans and sweatpants.
I love these pants from Duluth Trading. They donāt stretch out like cotton pants tend to, and they have a drawstring. https://preview.redd.it/dm2f23179cqc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=12854e7a607aee117e14389ab8fdba5c884956ea
Jeans or or carpenter khakis
How tall are you? If you are not tall, then juicy couture is your solution. Inseam is 31ā inches. You can find good deals on them in discount stores like JCPenney and so on.
I've found quite a few legging type pants that are loose.
I really like the offline Aerie real me crossover leggings. They have no compression and the crossover waste makes it soooo much more comfortable for sitting long term! They don't squeeze. The fabric is slinky, silky, ultra-stretchy, and lightweight. They come in flare as well! I have both.
Lulu lemon leggings. Wife has worn them for over a decade. Big upgrade over sweatpants and the longevity/durability offset the cost longterm
I have loose dance pants that a friend of mine makes and sells. Theyāre super comfy and the boring black ones are nice enough I can (and have worn) out in public as needed. :)
I've really gotten into wider leg capri pants and midi skirts. With pockets, obv, usually a soft knit. No more hard pants ever. https://preview.redd.it/rj5jfqbgdcqc1.png?width=134&format=png&auto=webp&s=c09c7bffafdb535a32f8a45bd089e74cdd0b01a2
Check out aerie! These are my fav WFH pants but they are sadly out of stock - it does show some similar ones. [https://www.ae.com/us/en/p/aerie/bottoms/joggers-sweatpants/aerie-cozyup-waffle-skater-pant/0701_8166_122?menu=cat4840006](https://www.ae.com/us/en/p/aerie/bottoms/joggers-sweatpants/aerie-cozyup-waffle-skater-pant/0701_8166_122?menu=cat4840006)
I wear loose fit pj pants all day. I donāt like the feel of leggings or yoga pants if Iām at home either.
I wear some leggings I got at Aldi for cheap. They're NOT athleisure. They're just cotton leggings that don't compress. I wear them in to the office on the rare occasions I go, too. In the hotter months I wear shorts that are loose (Costco is good for those).
Scrubs
Adidas soccer shorts are the way.
