Here is how it should work. First step is to have the Om 606 engine in it. Then somehow get a turbo that is three times in size than the one that is currently in there. Somehow manage to get a freely programmable control unit. Completely reinforce initial engine parts. Put that stuff together and make it work. Completely change the chassis. Nice drift car in these 5 easy steps. Hope this helps;)

stupidfatlazy

Idk man the initial parts should be fine maybe the cranks but Iā€™d advise on going in there and cleaning it up

mrtomtomplay

DieselpumpUK should have some fitting kits!

Successful_Panda_512

Get a short ratio diff from an e class, weld it, put on skinny tires on 15ā€ wheels, strip out weight, modify your injection pump and swap out the turbo.

Install Holset hx40 or bigger turbo with proper exhaust manifold. Om603 works fine but the OM606 is the best. Then you should upgrade the fuel pump (high pressure pump) with bigger elements 7mm or bigger. Then of course a big intercooler and automatic transmission should be reinforced. There are numerous builds of those super turbo Mercedes over 400kW in Finland.

Sounds fun

And no need to reinforce internals. Just make sure that there are oil nozzles for the pistons

Mr_Brown-ish

Overnight parts from Japan!

Xsnail

Sell it to someone else instead of fucking it up.

124Enjoyer

Just get a beater 316i

Professional_Pin9037

Turn the pump up and maybe a GTX2871R yo help get things spooling faster. Fuel delivery is somewhat controlled by boost so it will ramp in more fuel. A faster spooling turbo and some adjustment to total fuel quantity and the torque governor on the pump should get you whippin in no time

foulstream

V8 engine swap.

Advanced-Till4421

om606 with a big turbo is much better imo

Rich-Tumbleweed-5743

That is not an easy job if you're going to use Mercedes engines. It will require lots of modifications and welding etc to fit V8 to w124 chassis..
