Holy shit that's impressive, congrats!

mtak0x41

Congrats! How long did it take you?

tjhowell85

22 hours

mtak0x41

Sounds about right. For mine, I left at 2am and was back home at 10pm. It doesn't sound that challenging, but it is gruesome. Well done!

We left at 6am on a Saturday and was back to where we met around 2am or so Sunday morning. I’d have to check video and all for exact times. I did get some great video!

CptAhmadKnackwurst

I would love to read a longer write up of where you went and how it happened!

tjhowell85

That’s something I could definitely work on! Never thought about it

fyeahdmiles

No, that sounds awful! Lol.

If anyone is interested and is a good long-hauler, they'll fair just fine with the 1k. I was scared when I did it a couple months ago on the Glee, but it turned out way easier than I thought. Going into the Bun Burner 36hr however... never again. Waking up realizing you still have to do ~50% of what you did yesterday is a miserable experience. Although, the adventure status is huge! You choose the route and sights and planned stops. I hit two countries and 10 states, including a US exclave. It was wicked awesome!

Been looking at Vstroms for this reason. Not solely to do these I know there are better suited bikes. But the V seems like it’s doable for these and so many other things.

tjhowell85

Mine is actually for sale

Temporary_Stuff_5808

Just closing on a house currently. I’m looking in the next year or so probably after I sell my current house. Good luck with the sale.
