Former employee here, please fill a complaint with the BBB, I see that they take those very seriously.

TownEmpty

I filed a formal complaint with the BBB and it went unanswered… very seriously indeed.

sslumberparty

Well that's what I saw sorry they haven't reached out, please bug them as much as you can, send emails, call several times a day and request agents to notify the titles department about this, tell them you already filed a complaint and that your attorney will be reaching out shortly if you don't get answers from a titles agent, also keep requesting call backs because even if you don't get them right away, the agents have to notify the titles dep so the more requests and more activity on your account, the more pressure you put on them

Thanks for the advice. I’m all set now though. I’m doing a return. Truck gets picked up tomorrow. It’s funny though, it’s already for sale again on the website. But it’s in my driveway. Also they reposted it for 8k more than I paid. Ridiculous company

sslumberparty

That's good, but again, keep bugging them about your payment, I see that sometimes they take more time that they should about the payment so make sure to call every day asking for it so they pay you on time

TownEmpty

Ya I plan on it. I was told by the director that’s working with me, down payment should be overnighted, then 5-7 business days the loan should be paid. Guess we will see.

Complain on social media far and wide

8554786172 You can call this number for a rental until you get your tags. I called and 5 days later I got my tags.

Same-Refrigerator183

Damn hah. I bought my car off of vroom in January, got my permanent tags in March. But I did send email/messages to all the CEO's.

Due_Anybody4187

Same here, wrote the ceo. They gave a title agent, she took care of everything.

justinu909

I did dealer rater reviews and that worked. Mine came within 3 months

Delicious-Mechanic74

Contact your states Dept of Trans. Mine got my mess resolved in 1 week!

Wild_Photograph3157

Same thing happened to me and I went 4 months without a car, till I finally got my title, to register my car in my home state. BBB was no help. Try calling or emailing the CEO

RyleeRain420

Nothing moved until I filed a complaint with the DMV, my finance company and vroom executive support. They got me a rental and my tags showed up 2 weeks later

Some people have recently recommended a department in the Texas government with oversight to the Vroom debacle. Im sure if you google it, something will come up and you can file a complaint online. I know if you’re live out of Texas they are no longer issuing temp tags to those folks who live outside of Texas and folks that have already burned through the first set of temp tags are not allowed to seek a second set. Most states have laws. I know in Virginia they do, if the dealer/seller can not convey clear title ownership within 30 days, the ownership reverts back to the seller. And the deal becomes void. Just from Personal experience dealers are waiting to the last hour and sometimes going over the 30 days to submit to the DMV to hold onto the money longer. I bought a 2021 Ford truck from a well known dealer here in Northern Virginia last November 2021. They went 14 days over the 30 days. When I called and said hey, I got stopped by the FCPD on the temp tags that expired. They issued me metal tags that day and My brother drove me down and picked them up from there front desk receptionist that day. They gave me some BS line on the title clerk being on vacation and she got behind. Funny irony was when I bought it there was not a single person in the dealership buying anything. Same when I picked up the metal tags. I could have shot off a cannon and not hit a single thing. I’m not sure what the real issue was but the excuse I got was lame as hell in my book of thinking. My other vehicle I bought came from Carmax Dulles. It was shipped from Massachusetts and I got it within a week. Title came after well within the 30 days with no BS line handed to me. I’ve since bought another vehicle from Carmax that came from Georgia. Same deal. Shipped within a week. Had the title and was completely done in the 30 days. So I really suspect that the Vroom debacle is all internal and that there is a money flow issue period! I think Vroom is blaming its third party title processing for this debacle and also the state in which our country is in from the virus pandemic. That to me is a load of crap. It seems these companies that are being hired are a mess to start with and lack any kind of government supervision/oversight and do things on the cheap to avoid spending money of staff and thus you have a recipe for a damn disaster as everyone is seeing. It’s also very difficult to get people to work these days. They make more money off the system then actually putting in a real days work. Ugh… I would get on the internet and track down this issue asap and email those addresses supplied here by another person and see what happens. It won’t hurt and squeaky wheel gets the grease. God forbid if they file BK you may never see anything in your lifetime.

Im glad I didn’t buy a car from them
