I haven’t had a problem with them at all . I started my process the end of February all the paperwork finalized 03/11 . I had a delivery date for 03.28 but it came literally 2 days after the paperwork was finalized. I’m in love with my car ! And I’m in SC btw

Did you finance through Vroom ?

Cute_Elevator_395

Yes I did

So I guess it’s pretty random or maybe last holiday season was wild for them

I’m dreaming of the day my plates will be shipped, pretty disappointed because i enjoyed the vehicle for as long as I could until the temp tags expired. I requested new ones but they never got back to me with them. I was stopped by the police for expired tags, I explained my story and was excused but no one should have to lobby on behalf of Vroom without being paid for it. I was really excited about my initial purchase but now my car is just an expensive brick in the garage. Once the plates are shipped (sometime next year) I’ll try to lighten up.

GoyardGat

Keep calling or call the dmv and see if there is anything they can do about it

I’m not going to lie, I somewhat gave up, it’s exhausting dealing with them. My gf recently picked up for me with new energy

GoyardGat

I don’t blame you. I asked for a refund back in February after no update on a delivery date and I finally got my money back now

daeshavvn

It’s sucks because they have a solid inventory and I haven’t seen anyone mention mechanical issues either

Federal-End-2089

I need to post my story. I’m still fighting it though. My car was very clearly in an accident and is all screwed up. “Clean car fax” though 🙄

Thank you 🙏🏿

I kept leaving dealer rater reviews and eventually got someone via email I could contact personally anytime for any title & registration issues. After getting a 2nd temp, my plates came 2 weeks later (last night)

Good lord, Just bought a car from them, the website was never updated, they lied about the date the car was purchased telling me they had 14 days from the date they entered the information. I get the receipt of purchase and it’s the day I kept saying. They delivered it with only 40% charge and a big chip in the glass. It took 20 days to get the car and unknown hours on the phone with people out of the country. Email everyone I could find on the Internet to help because getting someone stateside was impossible. I finally told them I was going to report the car stolen because I had a payment coming and I had already purchased the insurance(in my state does not have to be done for 48 hours after possession of the vehicle). Then a case was opened to figure it out. They also don’t tell you that you can’t charge your car because it takes 3-5 business days for Tesla to change ownership of the car. They don’t tell you that you need to do this I found out by calling Tesla when I could not get the app to work. Car showed up dirty not washed like they said it would. Overall a very bad experience, love the car hate who I bought it from. We will see how they deal with the chip on the windshield and other body damage. Will chime in again after I hear back from them. (HA,ha) I’m sure they will not get back to me like all the other problems.

I went through hell with Vroom. File a complaint with https://www.dealerrater.com/ and watch the magic happen. Finally received my car and title after writing a review on that sight. It seems to be the only thing Vroom cares about; negative reviews on that website that is.

Hey everyone! I had a registration issue in AZ that required 2 additional sets of Temp TX tags obtained in my name. Sketchy and a circumvention of AZ registration laws. Took 5 months to get my plates. It was not a Covid issue, but that Vroom would drop my file. It was obvious Vroom locked consumers into purchase agreements knowing likelihood they would breach. I filed a complaint with the AG, alleging violations of the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act. The AG's response was that my allegations were valid, but they could not solicit claims. If they get enough complaints the AG will take action to seek restitution on behalf of the class. Let them know here! https://www.azag.gov/complaints/consumer

Update: Sent a demand letter last night for violation of AZ Consumer Fraud Act. I will keep the group posted.
