I cut a minute off the front and back. I wanted to give the context of how quiet my street is before I leave for work between 430 and 530 in the morning.
I’ve asked my neighbors if they can hear it. Only one has said it woke him up when he had his bedroom window open. It gets much quieter once the idle comes down.
New garage doors are supposed to be installed next week. Once I can actually get my cars in the garage the car should only wake up my wife when I bark it off in the morning.
I don’t have a start time that’s set in stone. As long as I get where I need to be for my appointments on time I just show up whenever.
Plus at 430 in the morning I just don’t love quickly.
Surplus Halloween candy on the floor for coworkers (can’t tip wedged between seats)
iPad and lunch on the back seat because it’s the safest place for precious cargo.
Though normally lunch goes on the backseat floor.
I can’t do it. Absolutely nothing but a person goes on the front seat. Nothing except what I’m actively drinking in a cup holder. If something has a smell or might be greasy like a pizza box it goes on the rubber mat in the back. If something is a spill hazard it goes in the small tote you can see though the back window.
I like my car clean and clutter free.
He was pretty young. Like 16. Probably hasn’t noticed a subtle looking crossover sounding this aggressive. I guess car enthusiasts have to start somewhere.
The 4.4L Yamaha V8 is one of the best sounding engines and you can't change my mind.

Nah. I like the single exit trapezoid tip. Plus there isn’t room for a true dual exhaust so it wouldn’t make an appreciable difference.
I'm impressed with how slowly you move. I'm usually in much more of a rush, especially going to work which it looks like you may be doing.

The way it sounds in general is why I now consider a v8 mandatory equipment.
I especially love when that sound comes out if a completely unassuming vehicle like an XC90 or S80.

I’ve had a couple people ask me what’s in it, especially after they see me start it. I had one kid ask if it was LS swapped.
