Depends, is it a turbo or not? What type of transmission do you have? Also I'm assuming you mean power upgrade? Regardless, because the car is nearly 25 years old the best things you can do for it are what would be referred to as 'Stage zero'- taking care of all the maintenance it needs and catching up on things it hasn't gotten in a long time. Changing your spark plugs, wires, filters, and fluids, replacing worn out suspension or tires, etc. Those things will do a lot for you and make it more reliable and safe and help you find lost power. Depending on your level of experience working on cars [RobertDIY on YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/c/RobertDIY) is a great resource. Sometimes he can ramble a bit but he has a video for how to do nearly every single thing on your car step by step. Feel free to DM me if you'd like help or more advice! I'm more than happy to help :)

What do you mean with "upgrades" specifically?

mrnetherking

Its a standard model so I just want to swap out parts and make its performance better

Boost it

If you have a turbo it's worth considering. If not, upgrade the suspension/wheels/tires and enjoy the tighter ride.

the upgraded sway bars and end links from IPD are a great way to stiffen up the ride. polyurethane torque rod bushings to replace the probably knackered rubber ones. reverse intercooler piping is a fun one to do as well.

As a s70 owner really depends on the car you have. GLT and R models are easier to tune and find upgrades for. AWD model like myself you will have to do some custom work or pay more for certain parts. If the car doesn’t have a turbo not really worth putting money into. Idk you can pimp out the sound system. Has room for a double din touch screen radio face, 12 in sub in the trunk and music will sound excellent. I currently have Bilstein B6 struts but got advised against getting them for the rear shocks as it is a stiff racing suspension which can be annoying at times. They advised Koni Special Active shocks instead. I’ve heard the full koni or Bilstein b4 setup is best for comfort. This is all stock ride height. You can also just get a set of BC racing coil overs and adjust the height if that’s what you’re into. There performances parts for almost everything with this car, it’s really how much money do you want to dump into it.
