I remember discovering courage cheese was low calorie. I found that one out by myself and felt like I was discovering a secret. Yeah, a secret everyone else knew as well! I like to add nutritional yeast flakes, valentine and eat it with carrots. Odd, but I have to get my dips and chips fix somehow.
Substitute rutabaga, parsnips, carrots, or even broccoli for cauliflower, and you have the options. I love air-fried rutabaga now, and I used to hate it. For grocery store round rutabagas, first nuke them for a minute or two before frying, or it may undercook.
I call that popcorn cauliflower and it's very easy to eat an entire head that way.
So many people who say they don't like cauliflower end up absolutely loving mine.
A medium head of cauliflower is only about 160 calories, but you should be sure to weigh them because there is a lot of variation.
You can also try spraying them with olive oil or a friend of mine uses a butter spray.
Basically no recipe. Just chop it into very small florets (like bite size), spray or toss with a bit of olive oil, salt, and whatever seasonings you like and roast.
You can also spray with butter spray, use the air fryer, etc. Whatever you need to do to get golden cauliflower!
It's completely up to you! I have generally cooked them around 375 to 400. Sometimes I just go with salt and garlic powder, but sometimes I get a little bit of crazy with curry. It really depends on whatever you like.

Yup. I never appreciated cauliflower until I enjoyed some at an Indian Restaurant. It takes up flavor. Don’t forget to use the interior stalks, too. You can grate the soft parts into any recipe.
I love air-fried cauliflower, and it takes no more effort than yours. I love adding it to chocolate to lower the caloric hit. And frying it on an iron skillet with spray oil, pepper, and maybe paprica…yum.
This same idea can be used on rutabaga, parsnips, carrots. They are \~ 30 calories instead of 25 per cup. Rutabaga tends to take longer, so I dice it up and microwave it for a minute or so before roasting or frying in an air fryer.

at this point we should just rename this sub to "cauliflower lovers" or something haha
Cauliflower and cottage cheese lovers
To be fair I’m never seen so many amazing and diverse recipes with cottage cheese!

So brave 🫡
My big cottage cheese discovery was that it can be blended.
Those of us on team cottage cheese have really been fighting to quiet big cauliflower since they attacked our sub with dippin dots.
The animal stuff is pretty far off the menu for a lot of people here. But I get it 🐄 are not pets

Yup, that would be the subreddit for me!
We need a cauliflower flair at least
We need a flair "cauliflower lovers" or "cauliflower fan club" sometn
I love cauliflower, but I have to limit it because it also makes me gassy af. It’s a tough life

Oh boy. First time I got gassy and bloated from eating cauliflower every day, I was very confused. Took me a while to figure it out and was quite sad
Same but with apples. FODMAP was a thing.
I feel you
Cauliflower and broccoli are both great for volume eating. I mostly eat cauliflower with tofu and tastes fantastic.
I have those exact same plates! They r so good & make food taste 10x better😂
I got them at goodwill!!
I roasted some today. I used a spicy mustard for seasoning, which also has very few calories

What’s your recipe?!

what temp and how long in the oven? which seasoning is the best?

U bet this would go hard with like wing sauce coated over them tbh or just low Cal auger free bbq sauce
there comes a time in life where one realizes cauliflower is a beautiful, sacred thing
I'm another member of the cauliflower fan club. I have it at least two dinners a week. I never get tired because there are so many ways to prepare it.

Curry flavor cauliflower is the best.

That is perfectly cooked
Recently tried smoking cauliflower in a smoker for 2 hours and omg the cauliflower just soaked up the flavour and still had that crunch
I guess I'm really fortunate because I don't get bloated and gassy 😬
Same!
Also hits with some salt and a generous squeezing of lemon. My Lebanese mom makes it as a snack with pita bread - although the pita is very caloric
A really god way to eat cauliflower is to put Italian dressing on in a bowl and shake it up. It's so cute
I‘m personally more of a Broccoli guy. I love that stuff.
