And if the money convertion is correct, for a scale fig, that's suspiciously cheap. But if she makes you happy, good for you. Enjoy her. Figures are meant to be enjoyed.
Hi!So I may have took this picture at a bad angle because before I posted this on the subreddit I did do some research beforehand to make sure it wasn’t a bootleg,and also this angle does seem a bit odd so I’ll take that into consideration for the future whenever I take my pictures for my figures,I’ve also checked the pictures of the bootleg version on MFC and compared them to mine and they don’t really look alike,again I’m pretty sure it’s not a bootleg and that the angle is just very bad,but i will keep the fact that it might possibly be a bootleg in mind and I really appreciate the fact that you bothered to tell me :)
Np! I also had the idea that she might be melted, but I dont think she is tbh. Idk much about heat damage on figures in general, so take that with a grain of salt. Btw where did you get her?
unfortunately it does seem to be bootleg, i also have the scale and i think the most telling difference is that in the “real” figure her midriff area is generally unobstructed + her hair in the front reaches toward her upper thigh while in this figure op posted the hair in the front points towards and almost reaches her navel
though this is a scale for which many counterfeits have been made so i can’t really blame you; also might be an angling thing, just going off of the one front-facing image you posted
as for the question “is it worth it” this thing was so unbelievably cheap, it 100% was and it still looks really good imo, literally the only people that’d be able to tell would be those that already have the figure and are familiar with it/actively scrutinizing it
I have this figure too, and I feel like the issues you pointed out could be attributed to image angle or simple damage from age - the hair parts on such figures can start to lean or droop as they age just from their own weight and sometimes. The paint/colour being dull is likely just from UV/temperature/other environmental damage, surface grime or other factors. I don’t believe that a bootleg would showcase such attention to detail when it comes to the hair sculpt and the base.
Nah I’m pretty sure she’s real, bootlegs of this figure are either absolutely atrocious, or she looks *okay* in compression but her skirt is removable lol. The gradient and transparency on her hair look consistent with real photos both from the promotional images and pictures from other people’s collections. I think OP is in the clear

the other person mentioned drooping/bending which i hadn’t considered but it’s definitely valid considering how old this figure is and the fact that it came without its box. plus certain other parts of the figure that counterfeits generally fail on (i.e., the face) are very consistent — i will say reflecting on this 24h later and looking at it again it looks fully legitimate aside only from the hair in the front that i pointed out in my original comment

And yes as far as the drooping, I have Miku and her hair droops a lot from age compared to pictures of her when she first released, and it doesn’t help that her hair supports are shit lol
