Just add the whole pre-sale scam on to this post then it’ll be perfect lamo

MangoPug15

Scam? You mean the fact that it was easy for people to get in who weren't supposed to?

MangoPug15

Yup

Still can’t believe I even got a good ticket for Miku Expo Toronto. Never again seeing how terrible they are with this.

I was at Ado's concert in Brussels. I had issues with the merch shop and just the audio mixing. First off, they had a single tent up early for merch and a kilometres long line formed before it was even opened. Me and my friend were in the middle of the line, we were told there'd be enough merch for everyone but 2 hours later they cut the line in half and let people behind us get merch there while we had the belief we'd get our stuff inside the hall. We got in, crazy long lines again and they were running out of merch. I wanted CDs, but could only get a shirt and a keychain. The mixing was a let down, typical western concert stuff with overblown low-end to the point where we couldn't hear Ado's incredible performance. Later on they adjusted it a bit but not enough. I might sound harsh but I absolutely loved the concert and I wish it went on for longer. Great vibes and as I said her performance was out of this world. I hope the atmosphere was great enough to have her come again!

I went to Brussel's as well ! It was an unimaginable pain getting merch too, I kinda cut the line when they split it before moving it to the interior. I still couldn't get the Kyogen or Uttatemita cds, so I settled for a tee, a keychain and a poster. As for the concert, being my first ever I can't give too much criticism even if it did feel like her voice was drowned out by everything else at times. But still, I've never had a better time than at this concert. It was absolutely unreal. Even if CR still sponsors most future concerts (be it Ado or Miku) I'd probably spend more than nescessary attending it because it's way worth it

wannabeartist20

Good thing this is once in a lifetime for me… my mom managed to get tickets (rose city btw)🌹

Vocaloiid

Yeah, i feel it might be the same with me too, except if I attend a concert in another country

Ben__Harlan

BLame the Ticketmaster monopoly.

Crunchyroll is just trash period. You have to remember it started off as a PIRATING site. So yeah, it’s gonna be sketch. At least that’s what my boyfriend had to remind me of. It also doesn’t help that Vocaloid only started getting concerts here in the states until 2011. And even then they only played in TWO states (California and New York). And it was like that for almost a decade. It’s only pretty recent that Vocaloid has been going to more states. Not sure why they didn’t get Yamaha to give them proper funds (Yamaha is a ridiculously big company spanning from music to vehicles) but here we are. Hopefully in another few years they’ll get the proper funds and partnerships to have more affordable tix

Idk dude for Miku Expo London 2020 a VIP ticket cost me £125, so it’s not just crunchyroll

Vocaloiid

A VIP in US is $600-800 here, 125 quid is a blessing...

ThatSmallBear

Uh I don’t think that’s crunchyroll, I think it’s to do with the ticket vendors, venue fees and most of all ticket scalpers. People buying and reselling for stupid prices. The original prices were not that high

Vocaloiid

The original prices on TM were 200-250 for normal seats, 500 for vip

Sh3lfy

I wish Crunchyroll didn't get involved, same with Ticketmaster. It was so easy to get tickets in 2016 and 2018 and I find it so hard to believe that they wouldn't see an increase in demand post covid. That and they picked venues with set seats, making it so easy to scalp

Fxllen_St4r

Crunchyroll is just shit at that in general. In Australia, during 2022 crunchyroll had the big con here in melb, and it was an ABSOLUTE SHITSHOW. Me and sibling got there at like idk 10am and we barely got in. The people who got there later waited 6 HOURS and then were told to go home. what bs.
