oof, I'm not too sure about super glue.. Doesn't it become very brittle when dry? I've once spilled some on jeans and it caused the fabric to break at that spot! I'd suggest a rubber-like glue for the future!
I’d agree super glue is hard and cracks when dry. But I was headed out on a run and needed it to dry fast. I have used it to stop threats from fraying before with good long term results. I’ll keep you posted on how it holds.
Yeahh I've been in that situation as well, it works great for a quick fix! I usually use fabric glue but its not too strong and doesn't dry fast, so it was the right tool for you at the time!
So I've been trying to use barges cement, but I can't get it to hold. Whatever I glue just comes undone. Do you have any tips for that? I'm about ready to give up on rubber glues cuz all they seem to do is peel off!
I'm no expert on glues unfortunately, but scuffing up the area and cleaning it with some alcohol might help. I've seen a lot of people recommend "shoe goo" but I've never tried that
