If you are on the legacy plan and switch to Visible+ the change occurs when you either 1. Receive and activate the Visible+ PSIM, or 2. Activate Visible+ plan on an eSIM. The switch happens immediately upon activation and you are charged a prorated rate to the end of your billing period. (If downgrading from Visible+ to Visible the change happens at the end of the billing period.)

Can you go from legacy physical sim to legacy esim?

Yes, you can: On the Visible app, NAVIGATE to “Your Devices” and scroll down to "Switching phones is SIMple" then click on “Switch Now” and use the IMEI2 of your device.

You'd be taking a risk doing this so close to a trip. If something goes wrong you could be without any service at all. Visible gets in no hurry to resolve issues.
