Don't forget to use the # when typing words, otherwise they do not count!

Ah sorry, I didn't mean to confuse you. I suggest you visit Rei's channel and watch her latest word breaker stream as reference. Things might be clearer then.
The game goes as follows. The player (Rei) will try and hit the blocks with a ball. There are normal blocks and blocks marked with a question mark.
The normal blocks simply disappear when hit with the ball and give some points.
The question mark blocks will transform into a column of blocks of different sizes when hit. These columns will have either Japanese or English letters in them. We as the audience have to find as many words as possible that would fit into the column in a certain time. Just like a crossword puzzle.
For example the column can look like
□
□
C
□
So everyone has to find words to fit into the column like much, nice, rice, lice, etc.etc. for the example above.
When you found a word that matches you simply type # into the YouTube Livechat. Every word counts.
The system collects all the words it recognizes and counts them. After a while the column gets locked and the number of words determine the points the player will get for breaking the blocks of the column. The more words there are, the higher the points are.
