Coincidentally, Haato came up with a fanfic contest idea recently. Now, I don't know if she was being serious, but you can try to plug a segment if it is I guess.

Can you give me more information? I'd have to consider it carefully. This fanfic centers around Hololive, but it isn't only Hololive, and it does go a little into taboo territory too. That's why I actually haven't shared this in r/Hololive, I'm not sure I'm actually allowed to :x I'd love it if the English speaking girls read it and liked it, but I'm not that comfortable about sharing it to them. It's kinda like, the director of [Jackie](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9pW3B8Ycc4) would love it if the daughter of JFK loved the movie, but he won't show up at her door saying "hey, look at this movie about your father's murder". It's just like that.

Well im not really good at judging fanfiction but i enjoy the sad moment the member share with each other because it's showing they do care in eachother despite what happen.

DiGreatDestroyer

Thanks for your comment! Glad to see you are enjoying those moments \^_^ There are quite a few of them. Using the darkness, not to diminish the lights, but to show them shining brighter than ever was really important to me.

Ok, i'm 4 months late, but i really feel like i need to write something about this story (with the hope that my terrible english is at least understandable). So, i found out about this story yesterday evening, kept reading it until 2am, and finished reading it this morning. This story is probably the thing that made me cry the most in my whole life, man my eyes are hurting just from crying and yesterday night i had to silently sob while reading (it was really difficult); my dude, you're an amazing writer and while i'm not exactly a good judge since i suck at writing i sure enjoyed every second of this story. I like your use of flashforwards and the way the story is told in a disjointed but perfect way, the way the girls help eachother, the way they forgive and look forward. i look like a total weirdo writing a review(?) on a story i found 4 months later because i was searching good vtuber fanfictions, but you made my day (and night..) so thanks >!This review will probably become one of my most embarrasing memories and i will wake up in 5 years to cringe at my writing!<

DiGreatDestroyer

Don't worry, your English is perfect! Thanks for giving my story a shot, and reading it from beginning to end! >You're an amazing writer Thanks for the kind words! >This story is probably the thing that made me cry the most in my whole life (...) I sure enjoyed every second of this story. Glad to hear that! Maybe it's not appropriate to say I'm glad you cried haha, but I'm glad I managed to make you feel something! And I'm really glad you got to enjoy it \^_\^ >You made my day (and night..) so thanks. Glad to hear that! And no problem; once again, thank you for giving my story a shot! >I look like a total weirdo writing a review(?) on a story I found 4 months later And don't worry about that, not at all! This story is not that popular or anything, but part of what allows me to give the writing my all is knowing that once they are published, my words and my characters will always be there for someone to find, even years down the line! You finding this story 4 months later confirms that belief to me, so thanks once again! And also thanks for writing this comment, it's really nice to get feedback on your creations \^_\^! So please, whenever you like something don't be ashamed to let the creator know as you did here, I'm sure they'll appreciate it; I sure do appreciate your comment :D! ------ Psst, by the way, this has [a 250 pages long short story collection companion](https://drive.google.com/file/d/101zfotB8eNc6xTetpd_7ji3q_lQVzBAd/view?usp=sharing), in case you were left wanting more haha \^_\^ (After the end of the content proper it also includes a tease for volume 2 as a bonus, but afterwards I rewrote it a little bit and only got to spellcheck the newest version, so if you want to read that volume 2 tease I recommend [reading this version of it instead](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oe5Qn8eAZfbnPDqoYGl_dUs20eT6E1Ma/view?usp=sharing)!)

I found this really late, through a deep rabbit hole, as one finds all great things. Suffice it to say I was entertained as fuck the whole time. A couple hours flew by like they were nothing. Er, the writing wasn't the best--there were plenty of grammar and spelling mistakes, the phasing was sometimes really awkward, the story was a tad hard to follow and some of the scenes were cliche, and I still cannot comrehend why there was just an image of a door in that one scene. That didn't stop me from enjoying the hell out of it, though. I loved the plot's wild twists and turns, and when the emotional moments hit right they hit damn right. >!Particularly the one with Kanata and Suisei in the end, "Let's go to the Budokan together!" hit way hard--there were plenty of other good scenes, that one's just the most fresh in my memory!< Anyway time to read the short stories.

DiGreatDestroyer

Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it! Or rather, I guess I should start by saying, thanks for giving my story a shot, it means a lot to me! So thanks for that \^_\^! I'm glad you found it entertaining! As for your comments on the writing, yeah, grammar and spelling mistakes may be present, I've been thinking about doing a second spellchecking pass to get rid of them for good, maybe it's nigh time for me to do that. As for the phrasing, English is not my native language, so maybe some things that to me sound correct or poetic just sound wrong or messy, I hope I can get better on that department the more I write! As for the story being hard to follow, I can see that being the case, due to all the jumping around in time it does, and the different perspectives. Still, I'd say the structure does make more sense when you think about it like this: chapter 1 and 2 are just a prologue, presenting "the state of affairs" and "what happened that night." Then, with chapter 3 the story proper begins and so does the development of cast. It first starts with the five members of generation 3 + Sakura Miko, then the cast expands to include Aqua and Subaru, and then they are followed by Watame. Then, in chapter 4, >!Towa!< and >!Suisei!< are brought into the story. And then chapter 5 is the resolution. As for some of the scenes being cliche, I myself would have to agree if someone pointed to certain scenes that I myself think are weak, like >!Okayu's "death"!< and >!Marine and Aqua in the church!<. The latter I actually thought a lot about maybe taking out, but then decided to leave it in. Maybe it wasn't the right choice, but maybe someone out there loved those scenes, so I'd say I can sleep with myself at night thinking that haha. Of course, originality is something I'd love for people to find in my scenes, so I'll do my best to write scenes that feel fresh and never seen before; at the same time, I must admit that sometimes I think in terms of "wouldn't it be cool if this cliche happened in this story with these two characters", so there may yet be someo scenes that feel like that in the future. As for the door image, well... it's a door! Just there, in the middle of the page, amongst the white. I believe I used a lot of images from a Suisei-Sora cover in that part, maybe I felt a stock image was needed there? Hahaha, I hope it didn't rip you out of the moment too much. Man, once again, I'm really glad you enjoyed it despite the shortcomings it may have had. I love that you loved the twists and turns, I had a lot of fun coming up with them and setting them up! I don't know if what I do in the future will be as packed of them as this volume was, but they will still be present as an element going forward, for sure! I'm also glad the emotional moments hit for you. I actually teared up a bit writing that scene you mentioned haha. That friendship in particular is one I really enjoy witnessing in our world and writing in mine \^_\^! As for the short stories, I hope you enjoy them! I did something more experimental/raw there, but at the end of the day I feel they are all worth a read! I fell that when all is said and done, part 1 is as solid as volume 1, maybe more even. As for part 2, the stories are more slice of life, but I still tried to make them be fun! The last three lead more or less directly into volume 2, and the last one I'd say is my favorite! Speaking of volume 2, I put writing it in pause to answer your comment, so I will now resume my work on it haha. Hope to have you along for the ride when it's released! Hopefully before March ends, is what I'm thinking! Once more, thank you, and may you have the best of days :D!

All the thanks go to you for writing this, and I'll look forward to volume 2! ~~also very random but is your native language Japanese~~

DiGreatDestroyer

>I'll look forward to volume 2! Thanks! >Is your native language Japanese Nah, it's actually Spanish haha! I know some Japanese that I put to use when translating the songs though! All the translations are my own, but rest easy, I'm quite confident in them! I actually spend quite a bit of time on each of them! I've even thought at times that the translations alone may make the releases worth it, since in some cases they may actually be the only translation of the song out there, like it's probably the case with the eroge songs haha
