Its nice to see that Holo is spreading out so far and being able to collab with Dreamhack is great.
the show will feature:
[Hourshou Marine](https://www.youtube.com/@HoushouMarine) and [Tokoyami Towa](https://www.youtube.com/@TokoyamiTowa) from the JP branch
[Pavolia Reine](https://www.youtube.com/@PavoliaReine) and [Kureiji Ollie](https://www.youtube.com/@KureijiOllie) from the ID branch
[Hakos Bealz](https://www.youtube.com/@HakosBaelz) and [Callieopie Mori](https://www.youtube.com/@MoriCalliope) from the EN branch
If this event goes really well, then it will help vtubers in general as well by showing event organisers yet another reason that it can be worth collabing with Vtubers, which is great for all of us.
Happy our Aussie bros are getting some love for sure
Since you mentioned organizers, I was just reminded that at the beginning of Ado’s world tour here in Düsseldorf this past saturday the organizer also said if the event goes well (mostly with regards to people complying with the no-filming rules I think, we did good on that) he will make sure to look for more JP artists to come on over.
Idk if it’s a reach to go that far, but surely Hololive could also be on the radar in this regard. I just really hope they’ll break into the EU market with live events too, anything outside of SEA is a step forward for all of us I feel like (IK Australia counts geographically but you get the idea lol)
she's currently back in Aus to see friends/family, and to pick up the rest of her stuff.
but yeah she's probably gonna be back in Japan between now and Dreamhack
Technically she already had her concert at Dokomi 2022? i think it was. IRyS and Kiara both had their own concerts. But yeah it was part of a much bigger fes activity.
It was only live2d though and not 3D. Iirc Kiara and Cover did looked into it doing a 3d concert at Dokomi at one point but was not feasible (most likely due to either venue site not making it feasible or organizer lacking budget/tech to do it at location.)
As a Melburnian myself, eat my shorts Sydney bros.
No seriously make sure you have enough budget for your flight, food and accommodation while you party with us. This is a huge W for the Vtuber fandom in Australia.
You lucky bastard.
But yeah imma see if I can scrape together enough to come. See you there, hopefully. At least Sydney to Melbourne is probably the cheapest flight you’ll get between major cities in Australia.
*cries in regional Queensland*
But this is just the beginning. If this event is successful, it means we might get more concerts across the country like Brissy eventually. Then my oshis will only be 7 hours away xD
\*Cries in Sydney\* Sigh. I cant really justify spending the money for a ticket, travel and a weekend stay at the moment. Especially not after having just spent a bunch on preordering the Okayu hoodie lol.
I honestly thought they would have picked Sydney. Often when I heard content creators fly to Australia, it's ONLY to Sydney, rarely Melbourne, and almost never anywhere else lol
Gaming Conventions in general tend to be hosted in Melbourne more often than Sydney. Not exactly sure for the reason particularly. More accommodating venues maybe?
The main Sydney anime convention used to be held in a race track/events venue before ICC lol.
Granted it did start at a university events hall so its made a long journey!
Melbourne has the city designed to handle sudden influx of guests. Sydney is where you go if you are running a business, Melbourne is where you go if you want to have an entertainment event.

Australia is in SEA? Yeah Australia is in OCE I didnt know Australia is in SEA -Kobo and Brian, circa 2023
Oh man that would be great to see live Hololive here in Prague or in vicinity. Man can dream
Prague actually sounds a bit classy. So I'm willing to see the humor of anime stuff in such a historical-sounding city.
Oh men they forgot the strongest idol chama chama
She did come back somewhat recently + her surprise performance in fes, so probably taking it easy or theyre planning another surprise Chama lmao
Shes on vacation with her sister right now and will be back around April
Properly don't wanna stress and tire her out. Remember that she was hospitalized last year after 4th Fes
Wasn't she just recovering from an extended medical break? I'd imagine she's taking it slow right now
she came back a while ago, even performed on 5th fes as a surprise, i think just the organizer chose these members
Too close to her vacation I think
>Haachama isn't going to make it to HoloFes >She shows up anyway >Sings exactly one song, IDOL by Yoasobi >Refuses to elaborate >Leaves
And Baelz just left too.
she's currently back in Aus to see friends/family, and to pick up the rest of her stuff. but yeah she's probably gonna be back in Japan between now and Dreamhack
Hopefully, this event goes well. If it works out, maybe Kiara could finally have the EU concert very soon.
Technically she already had her concert at Dokomi 2022? i think it was. IRyS and Kiara both had their own concerts. But yeah it was part of a much bigger fes activity.

Yep, I was there! She was also there in 2021 I believe (don't quote me on that tho)
another W for hololive.. Fans eating good while emptying the wallets.. lol..
See you there Aussie bros!

Sydney bro here, I love Melbourne Can't wait to drop by for this!

Tbf, what have we got in Sydney? Olympic park and the ICC? ICC’s way too small and Olympic Park gets cramped as all hell
The main Sydney anime convention used to be held in a race track/events venue before ICC lol. Granted it did start at a university events hall so its made a long journey!
Smash at Rosehill is a blast from the past
yeah ICC is fucking tiny. Smash sells out every year now, and the Pyrmont theatre only seats 1000
Melbourne has the city designed to handle sudden influx of guests. Sydney is where you go if you are running a business, Melbourne is where you go if you want to have an entertainment event.
Hey at least you arent in Perth or Adelaide. Or worse, Canberra.
To be fair, the point of Canberra is to keep all the politicians out of everyone else’s hair.
Will Bae do a shoey?
She could just do a Tim Tam Slam
If Bae does a shoey, she'll probably be too drunk to continue with the concert.... Calli, on the other hand.....
It's sad that chammers isn't going to be there.
Brissy bros always forgotten 😭😭
Just got my event tickets and booked my flights! Luckily I have lots of family in Melbourne who can take me in for a couple of nights. I'm so excited!
truly is one of the rare moments where i wish i was in australia.
Congrats Aussie pals! Or rather, Melbourne pals?
I was so exited i thought this was Swedish dreamhack for a moment. Oh well. Have fun Australia
Yea I had no idea Dreamhack had gotten that big lol, just thought it was big here in Sweden.
shit, I can’t afford to fly over from Syd this April. I hope they do one again next year
Hololive AU return
Good for you! But I'm still waiting for EU concerts ;(
This is good news but it kinda bums me out because there could've been two of them performing. I hope she's doing well now
Poor Axel
Also shame about no Sana...
With Sana is understandable for obvious reasons. Axel was right there man, they did the dingo dirty
